No “human” app support. Had my current prepaid “account frozen” with no remedy by “human” person or contact phone number for this company. Remedy is pending till they find a “human” to fix frozen application issue.

Until. It’s great until you have lost memory of your main password and then youre Screwed. Im going back to paper and pen.

Not worth the complexity. The platform is too complicated. I ended up loosing access to accounts because of it. I would stick to Apple or Google
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
2026 RAISED PRICES. Avoid 1Password unless you're comfortable paying more and more for a password manager every few years. What used to be a reasonably priced service has become another subscription designed to keep extracting money from its users. As a long-time customer, I'm tired of seeing prices go up while being expected to keep paying indefinitely just to continue using a product I've already invested in for years. The constant push toward higher subscription costs has completely ruined the value proposition. There are plenty of alternatives that don't treat loyal customers like a source of endless recurring revenue. I finally canceled and won't be coming back. If pricing matters to you at all, I'd strongly suggest looking elsewhere before signing up.

Too Expensive. After years of use, the price hike to $75 for family was the last straw. It’s not worth this price. Apples native passwords manager provides the same functionality for free.
- ★★★★★data, history or progress disappears
Massive security problems. If you use the browser extension, there is absolutely nothing you can do to remove your cached data or logged in devices from within the app. Anyone who has the password used at time of setup can log in in perpetuity, even if you change passwords or delete the user account. This is actually dangerous and i regret ever giving this company money.

Suddenly the app is not opening anymore. Not sure what happens. It recognizes me through Face ID and it freezes.
- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Didn’t work!. So my husband was testing this app because he was told it’s great, use it. So he signed on and this app said his sign in was incorrect. Since he wrote it down and created a password no one would ever know, he said finally I have the best of the best password. Only to be locked out, Only to be told by customer service to cancel. WTF!

Sync does not work. Used to be good but no longer stays in sync with desktop.

The worst. I do not recommend using it if you do not want to lose your passwords, 0 trust, and developers should be held accountable for this!! burn you in the hel!
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Scam Billing. Do NOT sign up. They will invoice you for a subscription you didn't sign up for and it CAN'T BE CANCELED UNTIL YOU PAY THE FIRST INVOICE. None of their guides on how to cancel subscription or delete account will work until AFTER THEY BILL YOU.

Difficult to add 1Password to another device. Today I tried to add 1Password to another device and couldn’t accomplish the task. To log in I needed a secret key - and there was NO way to get it. It’s not on my iPhone app, not accessible through an email, not in any payment or registry documents. I do not recommend this password manager app for apple products.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Bad service. Was charged a full year for an appI didn’t use at all…no refund, not even one cent. Even after knowing that the app wasn’t being used!

One of the worst apps ever. You click on your apps and ask you if you want to use your 1Password password you say yes and nothing happens then you gotta create a whole new password. It’s one of the most confusing things I’ve ever done.

FaceID on stopped working. I’ve used 1password since 2020 and have loved the app and the commitment to security. However, the recovery features are tedious and support is limited. I’ve used FaceID to log into my app (1password 7) for years, but it suddenly stopped working for me and none of my saved passwords associated with my FaceID work anymore. Based on the company’s FAQs, you’re basically out of luck if you don’t have both the security key and password. The lack of additional verification tools to get back into your account is not ideal.

Not a usable app. I use this app less than every two weeks. It does not function with facial recognition so requires a password to get in. My passwords are too complex to remember. Other apps are more effective and have become my preference.

Single worst app ever. This is the single worst app I have ever used in 16 years of owning an iPhone. It will not remember passwords it creates. It will remember a wrong password. It brings back every saved password you have ever used.

Can’t sign in. Got a new phone, it won’t let me sign in. QR reader goes green over the QR and stops. Emergency kit passcode and password are denied.

Sucks now. Now they’re charging for it and I can’t log in to get all my passwords recorded to a different app

Unintuitive af. Most unintuitive, not user friendly app. Make it easier for the general public if you want us to use it. It seems like it is made for developers only. Wtf

False advertising. App is not actually free, starts at $4.99 a month or something like that.
- ★★★★★slow performance and long loading times
Please fix search. A very annoying bug has returned to the iOS app. It was fixed for a few months but recently reared its ugly head again. Here are the steps to reproduce because obviously the 1Password QA team can’t be bothered to do any kind of real world testing. 1.) Open 1Password on iOS and navigate to a list of entries (eg All Items or Archive) 2.) Click into the search field 3.) Type search criteria Expected result: 1.) Every character typed into Search is visible in the search field 2.) Search results are returned with each keystroke Actual result: 1.) The first 3 or 4 characters are deleted after being typed and only the following characters are entered into search. 2.) Search results are returned only for the characters entered. My guess on why this is happening: I began typing into the search field very quickly after launching the app. There seems to be a lag of around 5 seconds after launch where 1Password queries the server for changes (e.g. updated passwords, new passwords, etc.). If I search while those results are being returned from the server, then 1Password will null out the search criteria while it pulls in the changes. After the changes are pulled in, then subsequent search criteria I enter is properly logged. Sorry if this isn’t a clear enough description of what’s happening, but that’s the best I can do. You should be able to figure it out. This is just poorly designed UI/UX and a frustrating experience for power users who open and quickly search for what they need in 1Password. Fix it. Edit: massive price increase for absolutely no reason. No additional benefits. Won’t be renewing after 15 years. Hope it was worth it, you greedy fools.

Disappointed. Disappointed for whatever reason. Disappointed. Not worth a penny, don’t buy

Cannot remove birthday once you fill it. Date of birth field cannot be cleared once set. This bug has been reported since 2022 and still not fixed. Can you trust a product with this level of neglect with all your passwords?
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Same old stuff. You have to create a user id and store your stuff on their servers. Not a stand alone app. You can’t trust companies with your personal info anymore. They show you the “helpful reviews”, so you won’t see this one.

I can’t hate an app more but it’s herpes so I’m stuck with it. The most ungodly flawed system that forces one to do every aspect add it save it make sure it’s assigned Don’t require log in allow 2fa and byometrics. Yet every.single.time it says get your password first to log in even with it logged in. Like herpes it infects your system so that you can’t get of it without trusting that the people that make this trash outsourced the exit method because jfc I hate this company so much. Sooooo much,

Want more money. I have used this software for over 10 years. The last straw is them raising their prices for what?
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
Horrible customer support. New customer switching apps, somehow I got stuck in a limbo where I couldn’t log in without one of two things, both of which I could only get by logging in. Apparently I didn’t click a link in some email fast enough. Customer support responded to one email over 4 weeks with an AI-generated message telling me to log in to resolve.

Where tf is the password generator?. Why would you bury it so deep in the app that it's literally impossible to find.
