   Great App…or used to be!. Once loved this app. Now if you wanna see a future radar, it costs money. Before long they’re going to require you to pay to even open the app. Though, I won’t be around to find out. Definitely deleting this app.

   Freeloader. You offer a free app with optional paid content, then call me a freeloader (in a pop screen) after 2+ years of daily usage just because I won’t subscribe to the premium stuff I obviously don’t need. That’s a great way to lose customers. I’ve deleted the app. I’m not coming back!!!!

   Changed to AI writing. If you set it to be leaning one direction politically it actually still bashes the people on that side. It used to be awesome and amusing, but now it’s just not even funny anymore. And since when is 58 degrees Fahrenheit and clear sky’s bad weather?

   SCAM. As soon as you sign up for the 7 day free trial you will get billed and they don’t have a way to dispute, have to go through your bank

    Latest update is very disappointing. The latest update is a buggy mess. Wind in cards have direction arrows that are opposite of actual. Changing weather source is hit and miss. Not worth paying a for a premium subscription anymore.

    Inaccurate and gets old fast. Not much to say - the forecast, especially rainfall prediction, is comically bad no matter the weather source. After a few days the chat bot gimmick is tired and easy to ignore. Wish I hadn’t paid for this… it’s basically useless

    Text is too small. The text is too small for me to read, and there doesn’t seem to be a setting in the app to increase the font size. I don’t want to use the systemwide font size because then everything else will be too big

    Used the apps for years and this is strictly personality. No doubt the dudes who do Carrot are peak woke far leftists. Accepted that a long time ago. The humor has always skewed hard left and it doesn’t matter the setting. But more recently its jokes come at the expense of the poor working class who have high school diplomas or maybe not even that. A tip for the woke TDS blueanons over there at Carrot joking about the less fortunate or as Al Gore ironically put it “life’s lottery winers” is not funny. It never is funny. Name calling not funny. Leave your bubble

    Gutter wrung garbage. Just about everything is now paywalled. The dev was doing fine and was successful for years until he turned the app into the same barrel of money-craving trash that all the other ones are and will probably be shocked and confused when more and more people jump off this awful application.

    This app sucks. I’ve had this app for the last few years and it was always super accurate when predicting rain and temperature. I had the subscription for a while and decided to cancel it earlier this year. Pretty much ever since I cancelled it the weather has been wildly inaccurate and I’ve gotten caught in the rain one too many times now while mowing the lawn thinking I had time before the rain started. Going back to weather channel because this has just happened way too many times now.

    Poor Temp Forecast. It seems to underestimate coming temps by 3 to 6 degrees each day. Plus it’s way too expensive. No longer recommend.

    Used to b better.. Maps don’t have state lines, cities, nor highways defined. Can’t reduce size of lightning strikes. Need to show humidity, and the heat or cold index. Shows the wrong street and street address!

    Constantly asking me to pay. I don’t understand why people love this app so much. Every time I open it I’m harassed to pay $20 to access weather annually. What a joke. Those are you who pay I hope you’re getting your $20 worth.

    Another subscription?. I know it isn’t much, but I don’t like the idea of a subscription for a weather app. Especially one that keeps trying to trick you into one. If you think that isn’t fair… read on. Features like “customize layout” or “change icon” are fine to be paid features. I have no issue with that. What is annoying is that the app will let you get to the setting first and then when you go to apply it it will tell you that it’s a paid feature. The UI is intentionally misleading and very frustrating as a first-time user. Gray out the setting entirely and put a lock icon by it. By not doing this it makes it feel like any value is behind a paywall. I know the whole deal is that weather data isn’t free. I understand that. But then why is that the only free feature in the app? I’m fine to pay for longer forecasts or stuff like that. Or even timely weather notifications. But to add a widget? Or to change an icon? Come on. I need to pay a subscription to change an icon? How is that worth $40 a year? I am not opposed to paying for apps. I bought Dark Sky, but also appreciated that it was a one-time purchase. If this app wants to appeal to a wider audience, it needs to make some basic tweaks. I’ve heard a lot of great reviews for this app, but this experience left me severely disappointed. Not the first time I’ve tried the app either.

    Funniest weather app ever.. I swear to God this is the best weather app ever. It makes jokes. GOOD JOKES TOO!! Highly recommend.

    A fallen legacy. This app used to be amazing, without a subscription you could still access most of what I think should be base information. You even had a few sources to choose from still. Now, after years of watching them add subscription tiers and even raise the price multitudes of times I just can’t support it. I got this app when it was new in high school, and I loved it. It made funny jokes and was always more accurate than Apple. Now it’s never accurate and might I reiterate, doesn’t give me even the most basic information without paying for it. It kills me to delete an app I have this long of a history with but after the most recent severe weather in my state this app was completely useless to me. I have a family now and I require accurate information to keep them and myself safe.
