   Booo.. Added a huge AI summary that is often wrong which no one asked for at the top of the forecast. Can’t remove it. BOOOOOO. I’m not anti-AI but this was a stupid move. Support does not answer emails. I pulled my subscription. I encourage everyone to look elsewhere for your weather app needs. This one ain’t it.

   Force AI “summary” ruined a great app. I have been using HeyWeather for more than a year now and love it. The different widgets and the ability to customize them make it well worth the subscription price. But in the last couple updates, it has added a very stupid AI weather summary. Not only is this summary distracting and useless, it is often wrong. Today it said the temp range would be 35-45F when just below it, the daily forecast was 19-28F. Please remove this feature or at the very least make it possible to turn it off. It is worse than useless. EDIT: the AI summary continues to suck. Now it is describing wind speed in m/s and getting it wrong by orders of magnitude. 91 m/s is 200 mph, and it was not that windy.

   I don’t get it. This app is when you just get in it it immediately crashes and the chosen error message and then if I tap on widgets it randomly crashes and you have to buy the subscriptions for $39 billion for no reason like the weather app like the Apple weather app is more cheaper than this junk

   Just go full paywall already. Almost anything useful is behind a (PREMIUM) paywall. And the app suffers from the same problem as all the other weather apps, terrible source data and sloppy UI design. I long for the days of Dark Sky. We didn’t know how good we had it.

   Widgets. Home Screen widgets do not work when adding your own background! App also freezes often and widget temp and condition does not match the weather page.

   App can’t predict the weather.. Predicts hours of rain when there is no rain. Can’t seeing a storm coming that is only a half hour away. The Weather Channel app does.

    Too many features require premium, dark pattern user interface tricks.. They try the full screen accept a free trial ad trick when you first open the app, and their suggested plan is not the one that would be the best deal for you. You have to look for the X if you don’t want a free trial. If you have a standard level of service and not the premium, a lot of the user interface space is wasted with gigantic rectangles telling you you could get more forecast days if you pay for premium. Very few of the widgets work if you don’t pay, they won’t give you notifications of severe weather like tornado or severe thunderstorm if you don’t pay, but they have no problem telling you that there’s a full moon for free but what good is that? This app is too heavily monetized and I do not recommend it. I’d consider paying a dollar or two a month but $10 is bonkers. That’s roughly what I pay for Spotify and I use that for hours a day. Just stick with one of the free apps, like the Weather app that Apple gives you with your iPhone instead.

    Incomplete weather app. When I downloaded the free trial and tried to use the weather map, I thought it was limited to when you purchase the subscription. When I purchased the subscription, the weather map was still incomplete and not working. I tried to notify the App Store regarding this flaw but they failed to care for this matter. In addition, this is not an app that will allow you to receive a refund. With that said, DOWNLOAD AT YOUR OWN RISK. For now, it needs a lot of improvement.

    Super Frustrating. I paid for the yearly membership only for it to not work. I’ve reached out to the app for help three times with no response. They haven’t responded to me but had no problem taking my money. Really disappointed as I loved this app until then.

    WAY too much money. $119 for a weather app? That’s insane! Could you imagine someone selling a a simple piece of software like this back before the subscription days? If you don’t want to do that, don’t worry you can just pay that every year at $10 a month for 12 months. Waste of money and GREEDY developers. You should be ashamed of yourself. I’ll be using Apple’s weather app.

    Displays Wrong City. I paid for a lifetime sub, and sincerely wish I hadn’t. I’ve spent way too much time trying to get the correct city displayed in my widget - it simply doesn’t work - it displays Paris only. I would like a refund.

    Paid for Premium But doesn’t work!!. i wanna love this app so bad and paid for premium but it keeps getting my location wrong and sets it as “paris”. i’ve sent numerous emails for help but no luck. wasted my money pls fix or refund :(

    Not worth it with new update. I’ve had this app for about 8-9months. It was good, until they want money for everything. Also it’s a monthly or yearly fee. Went back to the weather channel app. It was good while it lasted

    not worth it anymore. the only reason i downloaded this app was to have a widget that i could customize to fit with my theme and have something that tells me the weather. it was okay besides the fact that it wasn’t always accurate and would have the weather from earlier in the day. either way, it looked nice. now you locked everything behind a paywall just like every other app out there. you just can’t have nice things anymore can you? you know that nobody’s gonna buy it, but you’re that desperate for money so now i’m going to have to uninstall the app, and i hope that everybody else using this does too.

    Looks great but not accurate. I just downloaded and it says no rain for the next 2 hours. Within 30 minutes it starts to rain. I’m in the 4th largest city in the us! Deleting.

    I’m not there…. Dealing with a glitch. Now this app is generally okay and it works as intended. But when I have it as a widget on my Home Screen it shows that I’m in Paris when I’m no where near France. When I enter into the app it shows where I actually am but the Home Screen widget glitch is a bit inconvenient. Update: still showing PARIS! FIX YOUR APP!

    Had for over 2 years changed overnight. Had this widget for over 2 years, liked it, looked cool even thouhh it really struggled to update and always showed very old weather reports, but hey it looked cool. Just recently I noticed it was actually working and then after updating to IOS 16, the theme changed, and I can’t change it back:( now it’s ugly and incorrect

    AVOID HEY WEATHER. I don't live in a small town but Hey Weather could not find it. Instead the app kept wanting me to allow permission to find my location! The developer's want to track you. If you are ok with being tracked then this is the app for you….

    It’s just the weather. Why all the fuss? It’s the weather and I’m supposed to pay $44 for “lifetime” usage… that’s nuts, sorry. You have to compete with Apple’s free weather app so $0.99 is the max if you really do a killer job.
