Faulty app. This app constantly glitches, logs you out of your account every other day and rarely works like a basic app should. Better tech infrastructure or platform needed asap!

Still terrible a year or so later. I downloaded the J.Crew app when it first came out and it was one of the worst apps I’ve ever. I waited a year or so before trying it again and it is still a terrible app. Why are the fonts so extra large that a simple word like “filter” cannot fit on one line? It looks like it was made in 2010 before people know how to make apps. Update June 2026: still THE WORST. I wish I could attached screenshots to this review because it is absolutely the worst interface. When I click on my orders, it is completely blank, a white screen. Terrible!

App never works. I would love to give this a better rating but the J crew app consistently has issues. There are always problems with items loading properly or accurately reflecting stock. I love j crew but their app makes me never want to shop online. Please hire app developers that can actually design a working product.

Incomplete App. Everything until you click on an item and want further images or details is great. However, for many items, if you want to zoom in, get product info, and even add to cart, you cannot because once you click on the item, there’s nothing there other than “a great image coming soon”.

What even is this app?. Maybe the worst app I’ve ever seen? How does this even get released? It’s unusable. The prices in the app are different from the prices on the website? Looks like something someone learning how to code would make.

Cluttered app. Needs work. Lots of errors. Use website instead. JC even sends promo codes for in app purchases too. get more downloads, but the app fails miserably App is cluttered and clumsy to use which mimics the low rating in app store. J Crew sends to many marketing emails. Unsubscribing and deleting app. No response needed. Read current reviews and fix rather than send developer response.

Broken Apple Pay and PayPal. Flagged the bug to CX and they told me to delete the app and try making another purchase even though I made it on web. I forgot I worked on the QA team and had a test credit card. Also, discounts aren’t applying for Apple Pay.

Terrible. Can’t sign in after update. Death loop trying to reset password. Can’t sign in via Apple. Account locked. Nothing working. Can’t even file support ticket. Would like to give you some money and buy stuff. The year is 2026… how is an app experience for login this awful.

Frequent J.Crew Buyer — App Is Broken. I’m a longtime, loyal J.Crew customer and buy frequently, which makes this especially disappointing. The app is consistently buggy—when you click certain items, especially sale items, the price refreshes to $0, the product image disappears, and you can’t add it to your cart. It feels misleading because the item appears available until you try to open it. What’s more frustrating is that the sale section in the app often doesn’t match the website at all. The same category shows completely different items, pricing, and availability. I’ve seen this happen repeatedly—there will be a patch, things improve briefly, and then the same problems return. For customers who shop J.Crew often, the app simply isn’t reliable. It creates a poor user experience and makes it harder than it should be to buy from a brand I otherwise really like.

Terrible app. This app can’t tell whether it’s coming or going. My order history just randomly disappears from my account and the app often seems to be out of sync with the website in terms of item availability. There also seems to be a lot more payment and shipping customization through the website than through the app. The website is more convenient than the app.

No longer works. The app has been really buggy of late. It doesn’t save my account info between sessions. I also can’t see any product info. When I click on an item, a white screen pops up. There’s nothing showing on the pop up.

Poor App Implementation of a Website. If you’re going to offer an app and have some items be app exclusive, at least put some thought into the app. Tons of small usabilities problems; I’m not going to list all of them. But here’s one on the home page: the sale banner blocks the “Wallace & Barnes” collection from being pressed, the app exclusive items!

What is with the navigation??. Why give me the option to shop an edit or collection if it’s going to be this difficult to navigate?!?! When I click shop the edit, I just want to see the clothes included and be able to navigate through them instead of this crazy roundabout large image / counterintuitive scrolling situation

Worst App. I love JCrew fashions but this app is the most unintuitive to go through. It’s trying too hard to be trendy and has put navigation as their last priority. I only use it when they have app exclusive items; I logged in today and quickly gave up. Just show me the clothes and stop with these full screen pictures that make it hard to navigate. The design is pretentious and annoying.

Bad bad. This app can’t handle the simplest filter. Nor does it allow you to log in after logging out. Everything is a glitch in this app. And no convince since there is no barcode scan option. Useless.
