   App will no longer stay connected to TV. Loved this app before the latest update. Was actually planning on leaving a five star review originally. Now, they’ve added ads to the app AND I have to manually reconnect it my TV every time I open the app. Why? This didn’t used to be an issue. Before this update, there were no ads and it always connected to my TV without the slightest problem. Now every time I open this thing I have to pair it to my TV. And it doesn’t even pair quickly! It always takes 15-30 seconds (if not more) to solve a problem that didn’t used to exist! Fix it and I’ll fix my review. Until then 1 star. This thing is now more finicky than my 7 year old Roku remote. Why would I use this thing when I still have that? At least I don’t have to pair the remote every time I use the thing…

   Slow, clunky, junk. Title says it all. Doesn’t connect half the time, this is what they offered instead of an actual Bluetooth. Works decent when it works. High latency. No direct cancellations from the app, only on the website. Money racket.

   Live TV is not worth watching. Every afternoon my wife and I try to catch a few episodes of Judge Judy but most recently it appears that this channel has been in a cycle of wait more to come page that is totally annoying!

   Mobile capabilities not working. I can’t pair my phone with the Roku TV over the Roku app on my phone anymore. Please fix this. It used to work until two weeks ago when you updated your app.

    Keeps restarting. At first, this was good and it worked and now all of a sudden it seems like every time I try to watch anything it’ll play for a few minutes and then it just starts to restart back over to Roku and it takes me back to the home screen

    The app is too buggy. The headphones feature and the app remote itself keep disconnecting after 1-10 minutes. I’ve tried everything that the developers said to others in other reviews but nothing is working. I suggest fixing it because people are gonna keep complaining

    Backdrop issues. Not sure what is going on with the Backdrop feature. I have continued to update my systems but Backdrop (formerly Photo Stream) continues to glitch.

    Garbage. Every time I need to use it, it just doesn’t work and I have to close it out and reload it. By the time that takes, the YouTube ad is over… it’s so annoying. I mean EVERY TIME I unlock my phone, I have to close this app and wait for it to restart, making it completely useless…

    Waste. To expensive for what we get. It’s supposed to be cheaper than cable but it’s not. They advertise cheap but end up getting you roped in.

    Wouldn’t recommend it. The TVs themselves are made to not last. The system is poorly built, not user friendly when it comes to subscriptions and if there’s any changed you never get a real heads up. Even the remote is a rachetty thing. They also must have a problem with Netflix even though it’s the tip button on the remote because on the app it tells you it’s not on Netflix 80% of the time it’s wrong and it is on Netflix

    Voice Pro 2 Remote. I was so excited to finally have a Roku remote that lights up so I could use it without having to turn the lights on. I was doing flips at the “ find my remote” feature. NOW, I’m JUST MAD. I have to use my phone as a remote because my $30+ remote stays frozen/none working status all the time! I have 3 Roku sticks on a 55”, 65” and 75” televisions

    Volume buttons covered. So evidently all you have to do to uncover the stupid buttons is… Buy a new phone. Yup, I spent years complaining about the stupid buttons with NO ONE listening and it took buying a larger phone to finally get to see the volume buttons that were covered so far I could only see the top sliver of them and it took five tries to hit them on my last phone. Screw the poo that is Roku. ROKU FINALLY RESPONDS… with the most poo covered advice I’ve ever heard . Making sure the app is up to date won’t UNCOVER THE VOLUME BUTTONS. They are there. I can juuuuuuust barely tap the top if I try really hard. It’s not a connection issues m/0r/oN s. Been through several updates AND tried your absolute horrible customer service. 👎🏻 UNCOVER THE VOLUME BUTTONS OR ILL BE BACK TO COMPLAIN EVERY WEEK. Volume still covered 🥱 Saw an update and got my hopes up… nope. 👎🏻 Volume and mute buttons STILL COVERED BY THE PULL UP TAB. I know they are there because I can see them when I pull the tab down (it won’t stay down) and I can even barely tap the top of them if I try real hard. But it takes like 20 tries to get the volume moved 5-10 times this way. PLEASE FINALLY FIX IT. IT’S BEEN FOREVER. Volume buttons still covered. Still gonna continue leaving reviews multiple times a week until it’s fixed. It’s been FAR too long. Well, now they’re evidently erasing my reviews. I will keep leaving them ALL THE TIME UNTIL YOU UNCOVER THE VOLUME BUTTONS. 👎🏻
