   Don’t think I’ll keep this. The shows don’t have all the seasons! That’s pretty awful. Put all the seasons on your shows or I will cancel my trial. Now I’m getting an error message. This app is not good! Ok - now subtitles are coming on when I have them turned off! I’d like to watch The Green Planet and I’m getting an error message 🙄

   Crashes on Roku TV. I absolutely love the show selection on this app, but it crashes constantly! I have tried to update it and re-install, but the problem continues! Please fix this issue!

   The ads are ruining the experience. The programming is great but they have about 4 ads and play them over and over and over. It’s ruining the viewing experience and making the app unwatchable. They need variety.

   Crooks.. Will not let you use a lightning cable to watch on your tv. Only streaming service that doesn’t. Comes on for 5 seconds then shuts off. So I canceled, and these thieves are billing me again for next month. So now I have to dispute it. Have the emails that show I canceled, yet these crooks I billing me again. Streaming services are out of control. They figure you have so many they can get away with stealing from you.

   Glitchy App - Poor Engineering. While I love the show that play on discovery+ I am annoyed their engineers and developers haven’t fixed the issue when an episode ends and tries to load the next one automatically. It just sits there and spins and I have to manually go to the next episode. This happens on my AppleTV and it makes no sense because all other streaming platforms do not have this glitch happening.

   Annoying. Closed captions constantly come on and now I can’t shut them off which is highly distracting. It also turns my tv up to max volume upon starting a show. App on the TV constantly logs out and to log back in you have to type in everything like it’s 2018. Really annoying since I pay for this app!

   Always Freezing/Lagging. I’ve tried this app throughout the years and every time I try it, I am yet again disappointed. It is ALWAYS lagging or freezing. Thankfully, it was only $6.

    Please stop playing the same ad on repeat!. The app itself works fine, but it seems as if they try to drive people to the point of insanity by playing the same one of two ads on repeat. Literally, the same 2 ads 6 times in a row at every commercial break. I suppose it’s their way of trying to get people to pay for the ad free version? It’s absolutely obnoxious and truthfully, makes me want to use a different streaming service that doesn’t do that. Also, the longer you watch, the longer and more frequent the ad breaks are, which is annoying.

    No Play Button. If you pause your show and then try to go back in to watch just a few minutes later, the play button won’t appear. You have to close the show and then reopen it to keep watching. Please fix!!

    Omg how do I cancel this??. This app has me stuck in a subscription with absolutely no way to cancel it! No cancel on my tv, xbox or the phone app. Went to the web site. No cancel option. No phone number to call !! Wth!! Grrr

    BAD VIDEO QUALITY ON FORCED TO USE APP WHEN BROWSER HAS WAY BETTER QUALITY.. Update (04-02-2026) Not sure if the recent update messed up the video quality, but I had to delete the app and I need to stream it on my Safari browser instead to get a better quality video but Discovery Plus won't let me and forcing me to redownload the app which now has bad video quality. I should be able to watch it on my Safari browser or the discovery app on my iPad depending on which one gives me the best picture quality. Please give me that choice. Video quality worse than SD quality now. Disappointed. Update (03-14-2026) Discovery+ has the best video quality out of all my streaming apps. Please don't change the video quality if y'all merge with Netflix because their video quality is awful all the time. I’ve had Discovery+ for about 3 months and love it. I subscribed to it for the on demand programs for Investigation Discovery, which includes new episodes of the series I watch. Other on demand channels I enjoy on there are American Heroes Channel, Science Channel, Animal Planet, Planet Earth and Discovery Life, etc. Love all the documentaries and nature programs also. Looking forward to more great content.

    Can’t use the app now on my iPad.. I have an older iPad that I use for streaming. Your app now requires iOS 16.4 or newer, which my iPad doesn’t accommodate. I’ve attempted to watch through a browser, but it keeps telling me to go to the app. So now I’m paying for a service I can’t use on my primary device.

    NEW RELEASES ARENT THERE. I hate this app so much. I only use it to watch 90 day fiance. There’s supposed to be a new episode on a certain day and time. Very frequently over the many years, it never shows up for some reason. For example, ifs Sunday 2/22/26 and the newest episode of 90 day before the 90 days season 8 episode 11 should be out by 7/8. Well it’s 10:30pm and there is no new episode. This happens ALL THE TIME. And then other people on Reddit have already discussed the episode hours ago. Ok so why can’t I see it or watch it??

    Excessive repetitive repetitive ads. I think this is the worst app of all time. Every few minutes there is another ad. Then they repeat the same ad multiple times every time they show it. I will not reward that kind excessive over marketing. Maybe they should watch their own shows.

    Shows released. They don’t actually release the show when the episode airs on tv. It gets longer and longer all the time and I only have this app to watch one show and they are now 2 episodes behind……. I’m probably just gonna cancel and watch it on YouTube or something

    Bad Update. When will web developers learn to ask the public before they make a drastic change! This is my second attempt to get the app updated or reversed to its previous iteration as the current status is horrible!! Who makes these idiotic changes?!?!

    In-show controls are 🗑️. App doesn’t have a feature to restart a show without waiting thru commercials. And the in-show controls don’t fast scroll forward or back. No other streaming app I use has this lack of features.

    Disappointing. Shows that are released on HGTV are not available right away on this app. Sometimes it takes months for them to steam. Also the new episodes tab does not actually upload the newest episodes anymore. Thinking of canceling my add free subscription and just watching via my tv provider.
