   Login flow fails. Login fails after cloudflare “verification” but before username or password can be entered. It renders the app virtually useless. The same error appears regardless of whether using cellular data, WiFi, or via VPN.

    Tons of bugs, find new issues every time. Please please please fix the bugs with your app! It’s an extremely dysfunctional app and I have issues every time. In particular issues with boarding passes, choosing seats, and online check-in. It’s all extremely difficult. Look to another airline’s app such as United for an extremely well run app.

    Unusable app. I’m genuinely confused by all the high ratings. This app constantly crashes, gives errors, and is unusable. For example, trying to check in and it keeps routing me to a notice page. I have to go to the website to do anything.

    ‘‘Twas Better”. When it was Swiss and before Covid it was decent. Now far too many glitches which reflects German management. 4 cancelled flights and when they are codeshare, LH or LX, they send the passenger to Air Baltic, Helvetic or whatever.

    Slow, inconsistent and buggy. The app is trash and the worst I’ve seen from any airline. Everything takes multiple attempts before it goes through. Everything takes minutes to load. Swiss likes to charge extra for every single thing, but they can’t even make the payments work: you can’t autofill credit cards, it doesn’t remember them and they inexplicably don’t offer any easier ways to pay. Just like the airline, this app does the bare minimum, poorly and with an attitude that makes it clear they hate you.

    Disappointing, buggy app. App lacks much of the functionality of its piers. When the app inexplicably was unable to issue my boarding pass either digitally or electronically, customer service instructed me to go through check-in process even though I had no check-in luggage. Additionally, when attempting to change reservation there was no option to do it within the app.

    Poor user experience, doesn’t do what you need. This app is disappointing from start to finish. Cumbersome check in process. You have to enter your *G card so many times, it never remembers you. You’re like a stranger to Swiss every time you fly. Whoever thought it was a good idea on your “my bookings” page just to list a bunch of destinations (at least half of them are ZRH or GVA)? Completely unhelpful. You have to go through the check in process twice every time, to get your choice of seat, because the first time your *G status isn’t considered. Your boarding pass then doesn’t come into the app. There’s no true live departure or arrival information. Booking a flight is just a reduced functionality version of the website. Swiss needs to get some designers to do some proper design thinking on the user journey - and look at apps from airlines like Delta, easyJet, BA, etc. that are so far ahead of the Swiss app it’s a joke. Update for 2025 The Swiss app got slightly less bad, but it’s still terrible compared to most other non-LH group apps. To be honest, the app and the website and, unfortunately Swiss itself, are becoming the shame of Switzerland. I would not be surprised if Swiss is out of business within three years. This would be a sad day, but it’s the deserved outcome based on the customer experience in 2025.

    Worst app I’ve ever used. The times were incorrect on my Lock Screen (also in the app it didn’t specify which TIME ZONES). It wouldn’t let me check in to my flight from Zurich to Newark and kept saying “use the app to check in” even though I was. It didn’t even give an option for “step 2 out 3” of check in (just cancel flight or exit). Swiss airport employees told us not to use the app because so many people have problems and we had to wait a long time for them to print our tickets. Saw at least 30 people in line at the Swiss airport with the same exact problem (plus not enough employees to help, if they even could help). Not to mention the oxygen masks came down over France and we had to turn around and wait 15 hours to get a new flight.

    Swiss App Check In Process is Horrible!!!!. I tried checking in my friend and I a whole day before our flight under my account and the Swiss app for some reason only registered my friends information and completely removed mine from the app. I know can only check in for him and not myself in my OWN Account !! They also made me plug my information in multiple times without it every registering once!!! In addition to this mess, the waiting screen/loading screen is unbelievably slow for Travel App. Compared to airline apps such as United, JetBlue, Delta, & Southwest…Air Swiss is below average. It shouldn’t be this complicated to do a simple check in and adding it to my Apple wallet.

    Nightmare. Impossible to check in a family of 4. No reason or explanation for why my 5 year old can’t get an online boarding pass but the rest of us could. Purchased better seats a month ago only to find out 1 day before that our seats have been ‘disassociated’. Fancy word for we payed extra for better seats only for the airline to give them away and shove us in the back? And we now have to submit paperwork to get a refund? Endless hours troubleshooting with no customer care just people who answer phones and pass you around. What a nightmare. What happened to Swiss efficiency?
