   Not valid on all transit. Doesn’t work on all transit in Amsterdam as advertised. And it hardly ever works when trying to scan the barcode for a daily pass. Worst transit experience I’ve ever had.

   Constant crash. This app keeps crashing. While the user interface seems intuitive and easy to use, it keeps crashing every time I attempt to use it.

   Hangs if you can’t enter card validation code fast enough.. If you can’t enter credit card validation fast enough both hangs and if you try again won’t proceed. Desperately needs basic error handling code.

   Terrible! Do NOT purchase tickets within app!. Extremely difficult to use especially on a busy tram. Bought a 120 hour pass and only used about half. Waste of money! The bar code reader on most of the trams will not read the QR code within the app making it extremely difficult to get on and off the trams quickly while making all of the locals very frustrated and angry at you along with the tram operator. Do not purchase tickets within this app. So simple to use tap and pay with your credit cards. Map and planning trip within app are basically useless, use google maps.

    Doesn’t issue tickets in time. I went through the app to buy a pass and followed through the payment. My card got charged but my ticket says payment pending. Do not use this app to buy tickets it just takes your money!

    Payment. Wanting to purchase a 2 day pass from the tram conductor I was asked to download the app to buy it there. I did, the app wants your location, to send you notifications and your email address. It interrupts “Hide My Email” so I need do it manually copy and paste my alias and move on. I find the ticket I want and when I go to pay instead of paying with Apple Pay and being done it spawns a Safari page outside the app and asks for my credit card number, and details. So much less secure and cumbersome. I’ll just go buy a ticket at the ticket office. Why even have an app?

    Don’t do it if you’re getting reimbursed or buying tickets for more than yourself!. Getting a receipt is impossible on the app. And very stupidly and abusively, you have to always travel with the person for whom you bought the ticket. This is the worst public transport app ever. Do better, NL and Amsterdam!

    Trainwreck of an app. They seem to have gone out of their way to not use any Apple features for this app. You can’t use an Apple account to sign in, so you get kicked out of the app to register in a browser. You can’t pay with Apple Pay, so you get kicked out of the app to enter a payment method in a browser. And you can’t add your ticket to Wallet, so when you go to scan in at the door or turnstile, you have to use a QR code. This usually doesn’t work at all, as the iPhone senses a terminal nearby and switches to the Wallet. Took us ages to figure out why it wasn’t working though as the phone was face-down on the reader so the switch wasn’t visible. What’s worse, thanks to not using Apple Pay, you not only have to enter your payment info in a browser, but you have to do it again for every single purchase, as they don’t store it. I mean, I’m very glad these geniuses aren’t storing my card info but what an insane inconvenience. If you’re going to build an iPhone app, use the Apple integrations that make it, you know, actually function.

    Plan your trip. TODAY is 1 JUNE. Entered from and to information. Tried selecting a date. selecting any date past 28 June is not accepted by the app. Rome2rio and other websites can show train and bus times in the future but this app is VERY LIMITED.!

    NFC causes wallet pop up. When displaying a QR code and you get near the reader, nfc causes the wallet to pop up. Developers can disable this but they haven’t. It makes it almost impossible to scan a code.

    Garbage way to do public transit. Frustrating experience….don’t buy through a 3rd party app….they make you visit a service station and wait in the queue to activate the voucher. Lots of frustrated people waiting here with me.

    Not great!. This app is not very good compared to most other Europe cities. It really works poorly with Apple phones and Apple Pay - every time you try and scan QR code it switches on Apple Pay. Also you can’t buy several of the group or multi use cards at terminals (on paper or chip cards) forcing you to use the bad App.

    Ticket disappeared. I bought a 48 hour ticket. After less than 24 hours it disappeared from the app. OK I didn’t create an account or take a screenshot of the ticket but I guess I should have. Beware!

    Do not use this app.. My first review has been removed. Why? A completely honest review - It was 1 star. So here I go again. This app is a complete scam. I bought a €17.50 ticket. Doesn’t work when I scan! Trying to seek a refund on website but they make it very difficult to do. I’m going to be forced to do a chargeback. Terrible experience. Seeing that there are others with similar experiences, I don’t know why Apple lets this scammy app persist.

    Very poor app.. We were tourists in Amsterdam and attempted to use this app to buy a couple of tickets. No luck the tickets would never appear. Everyone associated with this app should be fired. I can't believe how poorly this reflects on Amsterdam.

    Ticket reader issues. Bought this app since the ticket printer in the metro was not in service. It was easy to buy the tickets on my phone but when it came to scanning at the metro station and on the trolleys it was a nightmare. You have to hold it just right and it takes longer to scan so we held up people when we were getting in/out of metro and trolleys. Buy the paper tickets and not on your phone.

    Doesn’t work on busses. I had to get the 120 hour pass a couple times and it’s caused so much frustration when riding the bus. You cannot scan out of the bus so the bus doors will not open for you and you have to hope someone else is getting off the bus at the same stop you need to, otherwise the bus driver keeps driving and won’t let you off. Additionally, 1/3 of the time the scanner doesn’t work to even get on the bus. It’s completely broken, this only works for the metro.

    Almost impossible to scan on transport. Easy enough to purchase tickets but such a pain to actually use the tickets on teams. 9 out of 10 times the tickets don’t scan and the operator just waves us in. So frustrating and recommend anyone to purchase a hard ticket and not use this app.
