   Horrible. This app is garbage they lie to you to get you to sign up for the app saying they will give you free stocks but they never do and they DO NOT respond when trying to contact them about this stuff!!! They also Make it IMPOSSIBLE to delete your account I have been trying for about a month now to delete my account and it keeps telling me to do the same thing! DO NOT sign up with them you are better using robinhood or acorn! You might even be better saving money under mattress over using this app! I have been trying for about 2 months now to delete my account and they do not respond and will not let me delete my account! Update still have not been able to delete account and on top of that I have unsubscribed to their emails many times and continue to keep getting them don’t ever download this app!!!!

   Social Security number. Was signing up to use the stock screener. Was asked for Social Security number to trade on platform, but then it says it will share my info with vendors (including my social security number). No other details provided about that.

   Ridicules app, avoid by all means. They will do all they can to trap you in this app. It took me weeks to transfer account out, and they have very unclear instruction on what to do to transfer out, you need to manually send email to their support to request it, and I ended up made it after more than 10 email threads. Then I tried to withdrawal my balance, they ask me my bank statement, my driver license photo, and even live photo. WTH? And after so many tries, they still couldn’t verify my identity and still have my cash balance inside this app. Scam company, run as fast as you can.

    Fund Withdrawal Issues With Moomoo. Wire Transfer can take upto 3 days.. Have you noticed how challenging is it to withdraw your funds with Moomoo? I most certainly have. It is a constant issue with the trading platform. Imagine if you have a large account and your money is trapped in Moomoo. This is the real challenge. Wire transfers take forever to get through. I’ve used a lot of trading platforms in my 25years of trading and I can say that while Moomoo do a lot of things well with respect to trade execution, Fund transfers is the real Negative and concern with this platform. If you are looking for reliable fund transfer management , choose traditional American Brokerage platforms like TD Ameritrade. Wire transfers with Moomoo can take upto 3 days. That’s right wire transfers take upto 3 days with Moomoo. Insane and disappointing.

    Not good. Having used Robinhood, Webull and now Moomoo, I can definitely say Moomoo is trash. Customer service is horrible. They have hot key functions but they are extremely vague and limited. To many clicks and pop ups while trading. Withdrawing money is poor. I tried withdrawing and two days later while I was waiting for my funds in my bank account they send me a message saying I need to upload my ID just to start the process of withdrawing. This was multiple days after I already initiated the transfer and have actively traded and already established my bank account with them. I went from Webull to Moomoo because I noticed Webull had been restricting more and more stocks but having made the switch, Webull is 1000% better in every way than Moomoo.

    Overly Restricted and designed to make you lose. Sure the title is opinionated but you will see when you use this or learning for the first time. The lessons are vague with hardly any examples. I find myself learning elsewhere and Ai help is limited unless you pay(Ridiculous)

    STAY AWAY. Very dissapointed. This app is plagued with something. All I know is I’ve been trying to sell my crypto but the price has been stuck frozen although other exchanges show various price movement. It’s all I have in my portfolio and now froze.

    Always Problems Withdrawing Funds!. Every time I request to have money withdrawn there seems to always be an issue. One time it’s processed within an hour, the next times I takes days and even though it’s the same bank they need my statement and ID again and again. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t trust this platform any longer. Just use Robinhood or WeBull. Give me my money! Robinhood is the best mobile App for trading.

    Annoying Crypto Alerts Can’t Turn Off. The app has been great until it starts to trade crypto and gives annoying crypto alerts that no way to turn off! I never subscribed to any cryptos nor do I trade them. Please respect user’s notification preferences!

    BLOCKS GOOD TRADES, SELLS BANKING HISTORY TO PLAID. When I see a fast moving stock and try to buy, Moomoo says "This security is currently restricted from trading" or "You can only close positions for this security. Opening new positions is not supported." which is very annoying not being able to buy a stock with a surge in volume and price. Moomoo has no problem allowing trades in stocks that are tanking, however. Very stupid. When a stock is running upwards very rapidly and nicely, it will likely be blocked and you will not be able to get into a position. VERY BAD. Clearly other people on other platforms are trading the said stock, but Moomoo (and Webull, and any apps built on Apex?) are disallowing trades. 😤 Note Webull and Moomoo both have the same stock restriction problem due to Apex Clearing, which they are being sued for. The UI is nice though, for mobile, one of the best next to Webull, but blocking trades is 100% bad. I can't give the rest of the stars because the app doesn't help me find what I want very well (stocks beginning to surge in price within the last minute, 5 minutes is too late), and when I do find them a bit randomly, they are BLOCKED!!!! To make matters worse, the UI will not allow me to connect my bank without giving Plaid (a 3rd party company) access to my entire banking history!!! WTF???? I don't need other people arbitrarily having the ability to track every transaction I make in my bank. The top gainers list is not realtime; it's stuck at some value (based on the previous closing). There is no config for it. The options strategy charts are static with preconfigured strike prices that cannot be modified. Not very useful, and a trap for beginners who don't know they should be able to tweak parameters.

Any review that is unfavorable, it would appear that MOO moo, is either not allowing to post, or is removing it because it doesn’t boost their rating, I recently posted A review critical of the Apps profound deterioration in functionality due to unacceptable navigational latency adding literally minutes to the decision and execution process of making a trade, largely due to what appears to be bloated sloppy coding in the most recent year or two. The app has become almost useless for day trading because it takes forever for the app to load. 20+ seconds in my case even after multiple uninstalls and reinstalls. And then the latency in page loading is just a slow motion nightmare, which in years past, it never was. Nonetheless, it’s a shame. What was a really good trading app, is now an albatross around the neck of every trader needing to get from research to execution at a sprint’s pace. ….. No Longer. Time to move on to a different more reliable brokerage that updates their interface knowing that speed in every facet of the app’s navigation is top of mind,…. Not an afterthought that they might address if they get around to it.

    Withdrawal issues from account and stocks. It’s never been this hard to use an app to transfer funds and stocks. Yeah your going to say I don’t know what I’m doing but I’m just talking about the aspect of the limitations I have to transferring my money, how long it takes to stocks to settle as withdrawal cash and the limitations to how I can withdraw my cash my to my banking account or card. Just to note if you use Apple Pay to fund your account you have to wait 30 days from the date you funded your account to withdraw the money to any other account which is laughable but ok.

    Customer Service Misled Me — Denied It, No Apology. I had an extremely frustrating and unacceptable experience with Moomoo. Months ago, I decided to transfer all my stocks to Fidelity and only use Moomoo for ETF trading. After initiating the transfer, I contacted customer service to request the transfer fee statement (around $75) so I could get reimbursed. Instead of providing the statement, the representative insisted there would be NO fee because my transfer was done stock-by-stock—which was only required because their system does not allow transferring everything at once, making the process unnecessarily difficult. Based on that information, I did not pursue reimbursement. Months later, I discovered I was in fact charged $75. I contacted Moomoo again—not to request a refund—but to report the incorrect information so they could improve training. Instead, they dismissed my complaint, saying there was no proof and it was not valid. This is completely unacceptable. Not only did your customer service provide incorrect financial information, but when I reported the issue, there was no apology and no acknowledgment. Instead, I was simply told there was “no proof,” and my complaint was dismissed. I strongly warn others: do not rely on their customer service. Verify everything yourself.

On the minus side, this app is not designed for portfolio tracking: no P/E of your positions in watchlist!! lacks order attachment on stop buy. layout is too wasteful: i want company list like in IBKR.

    Where was the 8.1%APY. I just got this app because I wanted to take advantage of their promotion. Turns out there promotions seemed pretty obscure and hard to interpret and honestly I thought they would have a simple liquid account that would be way to put a limited amount of cash into with a stabil 8.1% APY; Im sure that’s not even the case. Just so happens that I can find out how to get the 8.1% APY Any where although it was happy to advertise it for the first week owning the app. At this point I’ve transferred funds around the different holding accounts to see if it unlocked the reward and it hasn’t so I’m thoroughly disappointed.

    Worst App. I tried resetting the password using my email address. Though i am entering the verification code sent in my email it keeps throwing me error that code is invalid or expired. Tried multiple times and its annoying that it doesn’t work
