   Used to be a good place to shop, NOT ANYMORE!. Couple years ago, I bought basically my entire wardrobe out of here no incidents. Everything was in great condition. Super happy. I just tried to order again for the first time in a while and I did a bundle. I got three things out of my bundle, 5 items still are missing and the one white Nike shirt I bought had makeup stains all over front and back, and that was not in the description.. I’ve reached out multiple times. It’s been over four days and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. I’m starting to feel like I’m getting scammed on this site. Not a happy customer and once this issue is resolved I will NEVER shop here again. They should be doing a better job communicating with customers and fixing the issue!!!!

   Low Pay Out and Unresponsive Customer Service. I had the ap once before and had forgotten why I had deleted the ap. Thred Up offers very low pay out. It’s time consuming The photos they take are of poor quality. If you have an issue with your pay out, you are mostly dealing with a bot. My issued was inquired on at 4:50am in the morning. When I tried to follow up in the morning I encountered glitches in their system and a wait for a rep that did not come. Now, my account has disappeared with my nominal pay out. It’s a lot of hassle for small amount of money that feels like you are being discouraged to collect.

   Why bother… but seller beware!. This place is a literal rip off for sellers, 90+ items, many brand new, WITH TAGS… barely $200 in 60 days, and if I want back the things that haven’t sold? $5.99 per item! Plus I’m sure shipping, if you do end up doing it! I just spent 45 mins typing it out in detail… lo and behold as I submit it, error. Wiped everything I’d typed! 300K+ reviews, 4.8 ⭐️! Maybe they were for luxury brands or something? Haven’t the foggiest, but for us common folks? Donate to a women’s shelter, give it away, heck you could pay people to take it, and you’d still be better off than trying to recoup any losses here! 6, 30 lbs (max weight per box) at $35 each, $240 for the total amount owed to have them sell my new/darn new items, at 53 days in, I’ve barely made $200 total, I’M STILL IN THE HOLE $40ish DOLLARS FOR THEM TO “SELL” my items! It seems like the easiest route, but it’s most certainly NOT IN YOUR BEST INTEREST, I promise! They’ve still got about 75 pieces, that if I want to reclaim them, I’ll have to pay $5.99 per item, (+shipping, I have no doubt!) looking for a hand up, after losing 85 lbs, and going from size 16, to size 6… with an absolute LOVE for cute clothes, and instead ended up with a Doc Martin to the FACE!

   Bad App. Send a lot of clothing and for all the clothing they made 30.00 dollars I was only pay 3.53 I think that’s a steal. Why cause people are send out there stuff cause the way the economy is and you Waite 3 month to see how much you made so they give you 3.52 cents

   It’s gone downhill over the years. This was once such a good idea, and I really did enjoy shopping through this app for a while, but the level of greed has ruined it.

   Much better to sell elsewhere or donate. Please read the fine print before sending clothing here. HUGE fees and percentage of earnings results in receiving very little cash. Plus many popular brands are “not accepted” and cost $5.99 for anything you want returned. Much better to sell in local consignment shop, Poshmark or donate to local charities.

   AVOID THIS APP. Don’t send them anything nice because they steal!! They won’t list it or return it to you. They’ll just tell you “items will be reused responsibly recycled” and all your nice stuff will be in a black hole and never to be found.

    Worst search filters ever. I’ve been using this for years and the search filters seem to be getting worse. You can never reach the bottom of a search, and even if you filter, it doesn’t seem to recognize simple terms like ‘with sleeves’ or sort price hide to low. With all the updates, it’s shocking how poor the search feature is. I just want to get to the bottom of the search so that I could shop from the favorite things that I have picked out. It even has the audacity to give me the same things over and over and over again, so that I’m stuck in an infinite scroll loop and seeing the same things over and over again. It’s so disincentivizing to be played like this when they want my money.

    Do not give them your clothes. Do not give them your clothes unless you want to donate them! I sent in a huge bag of all name brand clothes. American eagle, Hollister, Carhartt, Vans etc. it took forever for them to say they had even went through it, then I was sent a message saying they weren’t able to be sold and got about $3 “credit”. Yet when I was looking for those brands to see if my clothes were posted, they were. For about $25-30 for each Jean I had sent in. Yet they never compensated me just stole my clothes.

    Wow!. Try another selling app. I sent them a bag with 13 items in good condition and some of them even with Tags. They said they couldn't sell some of them and will be responsibly recycled. I googled my items just to be sure and they were up for sell! I only made 4 sells the rest "expired" and they wouldn't sent it back unless I payed a $6 dollar fee for each. At the end I GOT NOTHING FOR MY SELLS, they said whatever I made was going toward the "bag fee" a literal plastic BAG they sent for me to send my clothes in. Worst selling experience ever.

    Not a sellers app. The way this app is setup the people who benefit the most are: 1. The company 2. The buyers (based on reviews that I’ve seen) 3. The seller who is dead last. Yes, ThredUp handles the photographs, listing and showing etc to get the items sold, but the listing fees are so high that they eat up any potential money that you may earn. I’ve seen potential payouts as low as pennies. I’ve seen on the site that I could earn about 14 cents for a pair of pants, and now that doesn’t show anymore. The whole interface is confusing and inconsistent. It is nice that they donate the items that aren’t sold, but honestly it is better to donate locally so you can get a tax receipt if you qualify and help your community locally rather than sending your bag across the world to get little to no return. If you’re looking to make money, this app isn’t it, If you’re looking to declutter and don’t care about the money, you’re still better off donating in your community.

    Access denied. Why do i keep getting my access denied? I emptied cache, deleted, reinstalled and still, access denied! I can’t shop at all. I’ve had an account for 10years. 😭

    Rip off. The idea is great but I am essentially donating items. Items that are “ineligible for earnings” are not returned. You have to pay them to return your donated items! Kind of a scam

    Lost items / lack of explanation. I have sent multiple items in some brand new and designer. I have items that were never documented and lost. Others they give no explanation to why not listed although with tags and the brand listed with other items on the platform. Be weary and only send stuff you don’t care about

    Problems with the app. The app is unusable for me. It works the first time, but when I open it the second time, it just gives me an error message “uh oh something went wrong” on every page. The only way to fix it is to delete the app and redownload it, but only works the first time I open it. It’s very annoying.

    What happened?. This used to be my favorite place to buy from but lately I feel as if the standards have drastically changed. The last few purchases I have made has been a waste of money. I keep getting items with rips, seams undone and stains that were never mentioned in the description. You can get store credit or return for refund but you still lose out on shipping costs. I just want to know what happened why aren’t the clothes being checked anymore? Today I received a hoodie full of hair and stains. Item was described as near perfect.

    Finally fed up with Thred Up. I’ve used Thred Up for a while now, and I’m finally fed up with it. The esoteric return system is frustrating; apparently you have to pay extra for that right. The money I earned from selling my clothes was only available for a short period of time before it “expired.” I didn’t know the clothes I sent in had an expiration date. I initially chose Thred Up because it claims to be concerned with the environment. However, the use of AI in its customer service makes me doubt that.

    So many choices! Mostly SHEIN.. I have loved this app, this store, and this concept so much I stopped by clothes from anywhere else, with the exception of intimates. I’ve “taken” my mom on shopping sprees here. So when it became, like, 1/2 of the product was SHEIN, I’m like it’s worth it to sift. This won’t last long. But it IS lasting long! It’s as frustrating as all of the Zillow rental listings being actually rent-to-own.

    Good App, but it does freeze up sometimes. I like the app. Sometimes when making final selections and removing things from cart, the app freezes. Inconvenient when you are running out of time. Easy solution go online.

    Stuck. I’ve enjoyed thrifting through this app in the past, but the last few months I’m unable to get past the “get personalized finds” page - which makes the app useless until this is fixed. I hope it comes soon, or I’ll need an alternative place to shop.

    Good Prices. Love it good prices easy to use. My ONLY 2 small issues? Are: 1.they need to take closer up pics of details! Epically for black it’s hard to see on white background. 2. I want and need exact details of the damage show of item has any issues. They should be clearly stated and shown in last pic (like I do when I sell items)3. Saying item may need repair and not showing wear or what! Is wild!?

    Love ThredUp. Aways some fun finds, easy to deal with and pieces are packaged nicely. I have recommended to friends and family. I don’t pay for expedited delivery as I shop here because I can afford the reduced prices. On that note, if you don’t pay for expedited delivery it will take a little longer to receive your items (depending on where you live).

    Love but hoping for search updates. I love ThredUp and what it stands for. However I always search with the same parameters and wish i could set them as default like the my sizes always is. Moving forward I want to see only natural materials and am not interested in direct listings whatsoever. So every time I search or click on one of their suggested searches I have to click on those again. It’s not a deal breaker for me but I hate having to do 5-6 clicks EVERY time
