   Scammers no Service. I bought a old vintage Rolex watch in eBay. It is very small when it took the pictures this look big but after getting it it’s very small. I contacted the seller seller accepted return, but the eBay did return. I was so mad for my reason. I spent a lot of money and I didn’t Get back nothing.

   Dishonest Buyers Are Rewarded. I have been selling on eBay for a long time and pay listing fees and selling fees on every transaction. Unfortunately, I feel that the platform no longer provides a fair balance between buyers and sellers. Many buyers open “Item Not As Described” claims even when the item matches the listing exactly. I have experienced buyers claiming the wrong shoe size when the size is clearly shown on the label, the box, and in the listing photos. I’ve also had buyers report issues with used game consoles weeks after delivery, despite the items being fully tested and working before shipment. As a seller of used items, I cannot be responsible for what happens after weeks of use. Used electronics and other pre-owned items are not the same as brand-new products with a manufacturer’s warranty. It often feels like dishonest buyers can misuse the return system while sellers have very limited protection. This experience has made me seriously question whether I want to continue selling on eBay.

   Misleading sellers. They leave it up to the seller to retract your bid when the seller is trying to get over on you, why would EBay not review and allow the retraction?

   App is terrible for selling. THERE IS NO WAY TO LIST AN ITEM MANUALLY. You click the button and it asks you to upload a photo, and then tries to generate the rest of it for you. Not only is this annoying, slow, and an insult to my intelligence, but the AI never gets anything right either. Details are always wrong and you’re forced to spend just as much time fixing it as it would have taken to list the item manually in the first place. STOP SHOVING AI DOWN MY THROAT PLEASE.

   Not the best app for sellers. They will hold your funds even after the delivery for over 7 days . I am still waiting for funds to become available weeks after the delivery and payment. eBay sucks tbh …just beware

    Fix it.. Happens everyday for 4 years and they won’t fix it. I have to go into my active listings after the item is paid for and delete it everytime. I forget and the item sells again, I’ve had people get mad at me bc I don’t have the item and they think I’ve sold it elsewhere when I explained it’s ebays fault. People don’t know how to read or don’t understand bc they’ve never sold on eBay. But yes I’ve had to do this 4 years now. It’s annoying. Other people are saying the same thing. You should fix this glitch and it’s been a problem for years and eBay doesn’t care to fix it. So it adds listings I’m paying for and getting dinged for ebays incompetence bc when I cancel people get mad at me when it’s ebays fault. There’s a whole group on fb talking about this so it’s not just a me problem it’s a eBay problem.

    SELLERS BEWARE. Great place for buyers to find deals. Horrible place for sellers. I’m writing this as a 10+ year veteran. Do NOT sell on eBay. You WILL struggle. They don’t care. They don’t help. They do nothing but give excuses. You’ve been warned. Use a different platform if you want to sell things online.

    Don’t waste your time. If you’re thinking about selling on EBay don’t waste your time, they will nickle and dime your profits to the point that you loose money everytime. Sold an item for $28 and I only get $8 of it after fees, taxes, and shipping.

    Please stop the eBay live spam OMG. EVERYTHING in your stupid app is plastered with ads and links to eBay live. Please let us opt out of this so we can use the app in peace. I use eBay for fun purchases. Ads aren’t fun, I find myself closing the app out of frustration a lot lately.

    Too many problems. I’ve been using eBay for 12 years now and in those 12 years I’ve been scammed over 100 times. eBay does nothing to stop bay sellers and scammers from stealing for its users. There time line for fixing your issue and receiving a refund are horrible. You have to do all the foot work to prove the bad seller or weather or not you received your item. If your item says it was delivered and you didn’t receive it. You’re in for a wild time. At this point I’m no longer using eBay. I’m fed up with there politics and the fact that they do not screen sellers..

I’m a new seller on this platform and I’m now permanently suspended and cannot get into my account anymore because my last activity is “concerning” but the last thing I did on my account was make a few listings and they won’t tell me what I did wrong so I’m done with this app and for anyone thinking of becoming a seller on here I recommend using any other app because this one ain’t it!!

    A perpetually unstable app. The app has been crashing during browsing intermittently for the last year. Uninstalling/reinstalling doesn’t solve the issue and it has done it on my fully updated iPhone and iPad. There have always been many bizarre aspects to this app over time that I tolerated. But the idea that I have to get kicked-out 5 times when trying to buy something is simply too much. Stability needs to be your number 1 goal. The app developers and testers need to use the app like a real shopper, sorting, filtering, and thumbing through many different listings.

    Horrible service. eBay refuses to let me receive my funds and will not tell me why. None of the customer service reps are English so it is very hard to understand them. This feels more like a scam website than an Apple app. You have to take a picture of an ID and give them your social security number to receive your funds and even after that I did not receive them.

    We use it because we have to. Riddled with glitches. Fees ever increasing. Full of weirdness where you can’t do something mobile for no reason. Insane expectations to provide free shipping. Heavily biased in favor of the buyer, anyone can get out of anything by saying it’s not as expected. Stop cramming stupid eBay live down my throat. I hope someone provides an alternative someday.

    You won't get paid! New payouts are a scam!. If you are looking to sell on this platform, I would highly advise against it after nearly 30 years selling on the platform. I had to walk away because of the new payments system. They started implementing them in early 2026 are an absolute nightmare. You will quite literally never get paid somehow all the money always comes out of the available balance for anything that you need to do on the platform nothing comes out of the pending balance, and that includes the shipping label tied to any purchase. Talk about an accounting nightmare they are implementing a robbing Peter to pay for Paul's shipping label type of situation whenever you buy a label for your customer. Avoid 2026 and beyond eBay at costs if you actually have a serious business, because eBay will never take you as a seller seriously.

    AI descriptions are ruining eBay. The ai generated slop descriptions need to go away. They sound stupid and redundant plus don’t actually tell you anything about the items being sold. I also HATE eBay live and the button they added for it where the old buttons were means I keep tapping it by accident. We need a way to disable live completely on our profile. Another terrible change is that the search bar now ignores search words and shows your barely related junk items. Overall this app is falling off hard and trying to be a cheap knockoff of Amazon and Depop instead of its own thing.

    Way worse than amazon. If u can get the item elsewhere, do it. These people are a joke just like this app and their policies. They let me get scammed when i asked for help they took the sellers side. Listed very good condition what i got was far from it. The return process is so bad, frustrating, and time wasting you have to wait on the guy that just scammed you to approve the return and god forbid you want to change feed back if the item falls apart after a couple days or hours. You once again have to ask the scammer for permission to change your feedback. Its a huge slap in the face. Bank charge back everytime and go elsewhere its not worth the ebay methheads stolen garbage b/s. Dont buy from booksrun

    no support. i have an old purchase that i reported never arrived. ebay never helped and after 21 days they closed my report for inactivity. now its out of the refund window and never got my money back, and it didnt let me report again after that. horrible customer service
