   Annoying. Ads (double ads) make this annoying. Also you need to pay to get plants, the free ones are very limited. After 4 years of use I am ready to remove the ap as I am not getting much out of it any more.

   Absolutely not worth $69. It’s a super annoying, super boring app that “tracks” your water but you’re not getting any real reward for engaging with it. The in-app “pop ups” (“It’s your first cup of water!” Etc) are annoying as heck. There’s minimal reward (“clovers”) for achieving various stages of your plant, but you can watch ADS to earn more— even though I just paid $69.99 for…. An app that acts exactly like a FREE app?? No thanks.

   Would be so cute if it worked. I have attempted to log my water consumption today, a few times and the count remains at zero. So sad. Once upon a time I had the way back version and I loved growing my garden, seems that this little plant is destined to expire all because your app isn’t working.

   Ads made me delete after 6 yrs (Use this every single day). (Best app I have) EDIT—JANUARY 2026 I have used plant nanny 2,157 out of the past 2,160 days. Yes, that’s almost six years. I tell people about it when they ask how I always drink so much water. I wanted to do a subscription, but they’re too much, so I settled for watching ads for extra things— And now there are MANDATORY ADS on the free one. Guys, if you need more revenue, make your subscription make sense instead of making everyone watch ads all the time. The ads being opt-in were a major reason this app was so usable. I’m really, really disappointed.

   Constantly Forcing Ads. After maybe two weeks, the app starting forcing me to watch an ad to “support it” without any way to say no, to exit the ad, or anything. Whole app hijacked by ad that never closed and the only way to move on was to force quit the app. Started happening every single interaction and became unbearable. Moving back to water llama.

    Not Worth It. I enjoyed it before the ads in the game. Achievements are painfully slow. I’ve had this game when it first came out and now it’s a shell of what it once was. Not even worth $8 a month.

    Forcing a subscription. I have been using this app for years but now I can’t choose a plant, even the monthly one, without subscribing. This app is asking for way too much money and I guess I will have to find another 1 to use.

    Inaccurate unless you pay. I’ve liked this app for awhile now but you have to pay for so many things. Why should I have to pay to set my bedtime? My day doesn’t end at 12am and it sucks that free users are forced to either pay, or track water intake inaccurately everyday. I plan on deleting and finding a better free app.

    I liked the old version better. I understand the draw to a subscription fee (on the side of the developer, ofc). But I find the newer changes to the game a lot less fun. The constant pop up to subscribe, fewer acorns, no creatures in the tree house? I’m deleting the app.

    Does not work on iwatch. I downloaded it to make it convenient to log my water plus cute flower growth but it does not work for watch just phone so wont be using it you dont get the cute flower on your face screen to admire nor click on it to add water. Would have been nice if it did what we thought it would.

    Ads Galore.. I used to love this app, used it every single day to keep track of my water and their missions they had also made it fun to keep up with hydrating oneself. I don’t know why but they have now made it to where when you launch the app (this also includes every single time you open the app to log your water), an ad pops up and then another ad pops up once you log your water. Their ads never used to feel this intrusive and it is too much so I will be looking for another app that doesn’t throw ads in your face. It’s just too much and makes the experience so frustrating. We already deal with enough ad-overload.

    the day hasnt ended for me!!. just had to delete this entire app because i wasnt able to log the 4 cups of water i had drunk through the day with the water i had already drank, because it said it was the next say just because it turned 12. I didnt even get off of work until 11pm; so I wasnt able to log the water at all. Incredibly frustrating and makes it impossible to properly track water. I couldnt even go back and edit it.

    app is broken / disappointed. I got a new phone and was automatically logged into my old account. I can’t find a way to log into the other one. When I go to settings and tap my profile, it pulls up my subscriptions instead. I can’t make any updates to my profile because I can’t access it anymore. I tried to find answers in the FAQ, nothing. There’s no number or chat for me to contact that I could find on that page. My hydro feats aren’t updating upon completion. My app is fully updated. I liked this app despite my gripes with it but now it’s practically useless. Why would I pick up from an account that’s bare, AND broken? Uninstalling ):

I really liked this app but it has ads that pop up and I accidentally hit one and a window popped that said: your Apple ID was recently used at APPLE STORE for $899.99 Via Apple Pay Pre-Authorization!We have placed those request on hold to ensure safest and Security.Not you? Immediately call Apple… And it had a phone number to call for support that was a scam. I don’t feel secure anymore using this app and want others to be aware because the pop up and message looked very convincing.

    Cute in theory…. I couldn’t make it a day with this. Where are the menus? Why can I not turn the sound off? There is just a plant that I water… absolutely nothing else on the screen for me to select to take the sound away. I can’t have the music going off while I am at work and logging my drinks… bummer really

    App Family Has Same Bugs. The plants are a cute motivator but the app is broken so I can't scroll on a page Its the same bug on their other apps. For some reason you can't scroll Additionally, this app is a big cash grab even with the subscription. After getting stuck in an ad because I was trying to check out a ladybug I decided that it wasn't worth the trouble I'm not paying 70 USD to work around hidden ads

    Cute App. It is a very cute app but you can only get the most of it if you start paying to use it. The adds required to try it for free are too long (and annoying) and the plant availability is limited to only 3 plants. I was not motivated to download the full app after I tried it and ended up looking for a new water tracker app.

    Getting tired. I've been using Plant Nanny for a looong time. I love growing plants while I take care of myself! Recently, I've just gotten so tired of it. Once upon a time (literally like 10 years ago), there was a free version that had all the plants unlocked. I miss that one. And now there are ADS?? What happened? I understand having to make money to keep developing, etc. But YIKES. Guess I'm just bummed that I can only grow like 5 plants (10 if you count the variants) instead of the full like 20. And I haaaate ads, but who doesn't lol? Love the idea. Loved the app for a long time. Still use it to keep track of my water. Just getting disenchanted.

    So Many Ads!!. I never leave reviews... I have absolutely loved this app for so long, I've been consistently using it for probably over 10 years now, but there are just way too many ads with this latest update!!! I was used to the daily option to watch an ad to double your daily reward, but after I was forced to update the app most recently, I've been absolutely bombarded with ads that I'm FORCED to watch. It feels like it's almost every 15 seconds that there is a forced ad now and it's SO disappointing. The app is becoming nearly unusable and it really sucks because this is something I've loved and have integrated into my daily routine for so long. Hopefully this changes soon.

    More plants used to be free. I used to use this app when I was in highschool 6+ years ago and more plants used to be free where you didn’t have to pay for a subscription to plant them. Just sad to see how greedy some developers are.

    Used to good, but now…🤦🏾‍♀️. It used to be a simple, fun and cute app… now it’s just a bunch of ads, subscriptions & annoyances. Might have to find another water app that simply tracks the water… nothing else or start doing it on my own…. Either way my feedback is get rid of the extra — less is more in this situation

    Overrun with ads.. Was a good app until all the ads got put in. I can definitely understand it from time to time (since the app is free) but now having one pop up every time you open the app AND every time you log water now is way too much, not even mentioning how the one that plays when you open the app (if a video) will always have noise playing even if your phone is on silent mode. I've used this app daily for over 4yrs and remember when there were no / extremely limited ads, now it's just greed. The app does what it's supposed to but not nearly as well as it could due to how tedious it is to get through all the ads. This is just greed at this point, I'd recommend another water tracker now.

    Do not. This used to be a wonderful app but ads have ruined it. Now there are ads everywhere and it prompts you to subscribe with every drink entered. We don't even have all the plants we used to!
