   Blurry pictures. Is there something I an missing? When I edit a photo it looks amazing, but when I save it, the app adds a fisheye look to it making the edges blurry and ruining the entire photo. This app would be amazing if it didn’t so that.

   Can’t use app .. I used to LOVE this app. But then one day it had me enter my age and i put the wrong year bc i was just skipping through it and now i cannot use the app when i paid money for this app. What a waste. Can i get access back? I’m plenty old enough.

   Blurry pictures. When downloading the app the pictures used to advertise looked sharp and clear with nice filters. Every time I upload a photo or take a photo, it instantly goes blurry and looks terrible. I know there wasn’t super sharp images back then, but now there is, and I’d like to use these filters with my images.

   😤 upsetting. I would give the app a 4 star rating but - 0 to the developer and customer service. 90% of the filters I have purchased and I can’t use them now I can’t even open the app because I get a message upon opening the all that I can not longer use this app. I have contacted the customer support multiple times and have gotten no response. All I want for them to fix my problem so I can use the app and my filters. Or at this point just give me my money back. ☹️very sad because I like this app..

   This app keeps letting me down.. Every now and then after setting a filter and hitting save, the end product is a picture with brown lines all over the place. Sometimes there is one line and sometimes there’s a whole grid looking pattern. It sometimes goes away after changing the filter or after closing and restarting the app, but some other days the lines just appear all the time even after changing filters or even redownloading the app (like today which is why I’m writing this review). If I was just using the free version then whatever but I have the paid version and this problem shouldn’t even be a thing and I’ve dealt with this problem since day one, but now it’s getting worse.

   Hm. Waiting for someone to tell me how to remove the blurry edges effect that appears when you’re ready to save the imagine no matter what filter you use. hate that, hurts my eyes.

   Ughhh. What happened to this app? It used to be the best. The photos are now blurry once you upload them and you can adjust the intensity of the filters. Sad, please fix

   Was… decent? Now unusable. I paid for all the add ins a while ago. It’s pretty alright, enough I haven’t looked for a new similar app until today. The problem? Every time I choose (or don’t choose) a crop, my clear and sharp image suddenly turns blurry. As if it was a pre-filter. This is every photo, screenshot, gif, png, it’s unusable. I’m sure there’s something better by now out there though. The fire effects were really fun with this.

    Unable to use the app. Why do I have to give you my birthdate to use the app? And the years don’t go back prior to 1970, so I can’t even enter my correct birth year. I have never had a photo app require my birthdate to use it. I can’t even use the app. I guess you have to be younger than 53 yrs old to use this app, or use a fake birthdate. What are you using birthdates for to use a photo app???

    Low Quality. I used to love this app. I paid for it so I have no issues with ads, but the quality got better worse when I updated it. If I use any of the filters, the original image becomes blurry. Ugh. It defeats the purpose of using it. Really disappointed.

    Waste of time. App constantly shows ads and pushes for purchases. It’s totally fine to limit usage before purchase, but this is ridiculous - can’t even try out the filters Don’t waste your time, this is basically a scam

    The app does not offer ability to unsubscribe. I tried the 7 day free trial. When I wanted to cancel, there was no option to cancel the subscription under Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > 1967: Retro Filters & Effects. I was charged $24.99 for a full year of these filters. After attempting to find a way to cancel (as I do not want to be charged again when the next billing date comes up), I contacted the support team via email with a screenshot of my inability to cancel and prevent re-subscription. They told me to look under subscriptions to cancel (which is where i already looked before emailing them and how I got my screenshot that I sent them). I followed up with a second email with more screenshots showing them that there is *no option to cancel* the subscription. They have yet to reply to the second email or even offer to refund me. It is frustrating that they sent me a canned response, because if they looked at the screenshot in my first email they would have seen I already did what they were telling me to do. I do not recommend that you make any in-app purchases for their filters or effects as you may also find that you encounter the same issue.

    Uninstalled within seconds. The first filter I tried wanted $5.99, so I backed out. Then it immediately showed me an ad. I don’t know what this software is trying to do, but the developers deserve absolutely no money for their efforts. Borderline scam.

    I don’t understand and didn’t have patience to sit through ads. Confusing to use and I couldn’t really enjoy it with so many pop up ads. I understand they want you to buy the app/features, but I didn’t even start using it for a full 5 minutes without being asked for money. Ruined my experience.

    Great Quality, SHRINKS YOUR PHOTOS!!. Prequel: This app shrinks your photos to less than half their original size! STAY AWAY, will be ruining all your photos! I want to give this app a higher rating, but any app that does this is literally unusable, thus defeating its only purpose so.. As a professional photographer I’m always on the lookout for anything that can keep me creative in general, online and moving forward, and I now consider many abilities of my iPhone 11 Pro Max nearly on par in some use cases with my pro level gear. That being said, I love finding apps that perform one job really well and 1967 delivers graphically.. I thought I found another hidden gem. The looks coming out of especially the “old” and “1967” packs would take some time in post to reproduce, and when on the go, or for “the gram”, it’s nice to just have something that’s grab and go. Major BUT here.. The app shrinks ALL your photos upon rendering them, (confirmed repeatedly by importing them into photoshop afterwards.) If I upload a photo that was shot in Vertical HD or 1080x1920 px for Instagram, the resulting output photo is 492x872 px !! That is a MASSIVE decrease in size, less than HALF the size of the original photo to be exact. >THIS MAKES ANY APPLICATION COMPLETELY UNUSABLE.< There’s many cheap photo apps out there that do this, and I can’t for the life of me figure out why! Nobody wants potato photos coming out of their +1000.00 dollar phones anymore, and this should be addressed immediately. On the surface this app looks and feels pretty nice and is easy to use. It’s a shame really.. Not even just from Professional standards, but what person wants ANY of their photos SHRUNK to LESS THAN HALF their original size?!! It’s totally unnecessary and unacceptable. SAME OUTPUT RESOLUTION PLEASE! That goes for all crop sizes as well, I hope that’s rhetorical.. Also, the app renders every, or almost every single photo with a sharp white line down the right side of the screen where it’s “missing pixels”. It seems they are having problems with correct pixel dimensions all around. Closing thoughts, this is an app I really want to love. A couple cheesy packs, but I found them useful if you take multiple photos of the same object while randomizing your chosen photo layer, and then turning those several photos into a “moving photo” or GIF.. Can get some neat movie like overlay effects.. The real “vintage” use shines in the Old and 1967 packs.. Faithfully reproduced I’d say. But SHRINKING the ORIGINAL size of the INPUT photo to LESS THAN HALF of the rendered image leaves it a non useable ZERO for me. Unless developers fix these issues, WE CANNOT USE THIS APP..PERIOD.

    Never uninstalled an app so fast. Over-the-top ads all over the place, even full-screen ads interrupting a page browsing effects I might have actually purchased. App froze on that page afterwards. I didn’t even get a chance to see any presets, because the app failed me so fast.

    Useless. Once you add a filter the integrity of your photo is degraded to around 1 megapixel rendering it useless even if your photo starts with over 20 megapixels. I jumped the gun and purchased total access prior to being aware of the issue. Waste of money!! I contacted them several times in the past year about this and all they say is they are working on it! 👍

    Why remove opacity slider?. Your description is false advertisement. The app use to have an opacity slider but now it only gives you the option to have dust on your pictures or not. Why would you get rid of the opacity slider? A lot of the filters are too harsh and I can’t figure out how to adjust them. Always something wrong with this app. When it first came out, it was perfect. No issues.

    Terribly intrusive ads. There is no option to remove ads, you are forced to watch a 30 second shovel ware game ad every time you back out of a “suggested” in app purchase. I downloaded the app just to check out some of the free filters and to determine if I wanted to unlock the rest of the filters as well but the ads are so ridiculously intrusive that I’m just deleting this and moving on.

    Simple, Intuitive, Nice Vintage Film Stock Effects.. Update: what a disappointment. The app still has not been fixed, saving images at less than 1mp. Deleted again. Update: a recent app update has trashed the output resolution. The app used to save Images at a maximum of about 11.2 mp, and after the update saves are 1.0 mp or less. Clearly something is terribly wrong. This has been reported to "support" but nothing has been done to fix the issue. I see the app promoted in Apples AppStore, and obviously Apple doesn't use the app. Update: this interface is terrible, fails to work properly (iPad Pro) less intuitive, awkward, and down right ugly. Older versions, while similar, at least worked. These last few updates have convinced me that this app is destined for the trash can. Deleted once again. If you are into vintage film stocks, this app's take on the effects is pretty good. Comes free, without ads, with a handful of sample presets, each adjustable by swiping up/down. There is an IAP to by an additional 64 presets for $.99, pretty reasonable considering many apps charge try to charge the same or more for only a few presets/filters. There are no editing tools, no borders/frames, no texture overalys, no lightleaks, etc.; just some very nice film stock presets. The app will crop or no-crop, and saves at full resolution up to 11.1mp, 4096 on the long side. The app did struggle a bit on the iPad2, crashing once while processing a 12mp image, but did manage to save another one. There was no problem on the iPadAir. All things considered, this is a very nice offering. Simple and intuitive, not many frills or bells and whistles, just nice vintage film stock effects.

    Awful. Few features, tons of ads. Not worth it at all. You get more ad time than actual usage time. It’s not right how this app is set up to flood users with ads. Very minimal free features. Completely awful, deleted after 3 mins cause half the time was spent on ads
