   DONT DOWNLOAD. It's not even worth installing. You have to pay for a subscription just to use one filter on the app. And even if you download the app, it'll find a way to take your money. It happened to me and I can't have my money back although I requested a refund. Terrible!

   Used to be great. I paid for a lifetime subscription years ago and now they charge me monthly. I should have been grandfathered in as I’ve been a customer for years… aside from that, they also took away the randomized editing for imported photos, which was in my opinion the best part about the app and the only reason I have kept my subscription up this far.    Mad because it updated and deleted all of my photos. I’m and vary frustrated because I had thousands of free photos taken and they were all deleted this makes me very sad and upset I am not happy with how this has let me feeling

   Little greedy. Love the camera. Hate that you have to pay. You only get 10 photos on the free camera before having to pay. Getting another app solely because of this. I would’ve used this app all the time if it weren’t for that.

   Subscription??. I’ve been using this app for YEARS. I loved it!! But I PAID for it and never once needed a goddamn SUBSCRIPTION TO IMPORT MY PHOTOS. So screw you, and I’ll be taking my editing elsewhere.

   BEWARE OF SCAM ❌. Daze Cam Hides Subscription Info and Charges Users Without Warning. My experience with Daze Cam has been absolutely stressful. I started a Premium Yearly free trial on October 9, 2025, and it ended on October 12, 2025. I canceled within the trial, but four days later, on October 16, 2025, I was charged $34.99 for a one-year subscription (that I did not approve of or initiate). The subscription now shows as active through October 12, 2026, even though I canceled during the trial period, and my Apple account reflects this whole timeline. The most concerning part is that the free trial and subscription details disappeared from the app afterwards, on my device and for others who tried separately. There are no visible prices, trial info, or payment plans anywhere in the app or on the storefront as of late 2025. People have no way to see up front what they will be charged or when. This makes the app look intentionally deceptive. It’s also suspicious that Daze Cam hardly advertises itself. There’s little to no active promotion, and the developers do not respond to inquiries visibly. Compared to other popular camera apps, Daze Cam looks like it’s hiding its tracks. The app does not explain or provide any way to verify or dispute charges. From my research and what others are saying, this app’s approach to subscriptions looks scammy and designed to avoid accountability. The lack of communication, missing payment information, sudden UI changes, and hidden subscription details show a business that is not being honest. Please avoid this app, I’m currently having to work with Apple my and bank to make a report of this charge and company. If you value your money and want to avoid surprise charges, steer clear of Daze Cam. It’s not transparent, does not show its terms, and it’s set up to steal your money.

    You have to pay to use almost every feature which is wild. I’m sorry but there’s a million apps out there who let you do the same things for free, and they also have good filters. Not everything needs to be a subscription

    They ruined it. This used to be such a great app, but lately they keep changing up the features and today they finally broke it, it won’t let me import any new photos to be edited. Used to be free, now it’s $20 a year which I would be happy to pay for the old functionality, but it’s just not there anymore. They also got rid of my favorite filters, fortunately I had saved some custom versions of them, but still, why fix something that wasn’t broken?

    love app, but now have to pay?. I have used this app since 2020 and have been obsessed with the filters. They can make any picture look true vintage. I sometimes just use it to add some spice to my photos and now I can’t even look at the originals because of how good this app makes them look. I now am deleting the app because I can’t import my own photos anymore, since you now have a limit and have to pay for the premium. Why ruin such a good app? I would pay for the app up front, maybe $5 max. But $4/month or $20/year is crazy for just filters.

    favorite preset gone! 😭. I just started using this app recently after downloading a bunch of effect apps and falling absolutely IN LOVE with the DAZE-4 preset in this app. I used it every day for everything for like the past two weeks! Now with the last update it is gone and I’m soooo sad 😭. There’s not even anything close to the effect anymore. I sadly won’t be using it anymore 😞😞😞

    Please go back to the old app. I never write reviews, and I rarely use apps—but Daze Cam was my go-to for capturing personal photos. I’ve been using it for over three years and loved how unique yet thoughtfully curated it was. You could either manually edit photos or let the app’s auto-editing do the work, and the results always stood out. I was known among my friends for always using this app, and I introduced so many people to it. My entire Instagram aesthetic was built around Daze Cam’s filters. But with this latest update, everything that made the app special is gone. The classic filters that defined my photos and brand for years have been removed, and now Daze Cam feels like just another generic photo app. It’s disappointing to see it turn into another paid subscription service that blends into an already oversaturated market.

    One Time Purchase “Forgotten”. Paid for the app when it was a one time purchase back in 2020. Deleted the app to save space before getting a new phone. Now it’s asking me to pay for the subscription model. NO THANK YOU. My one-time purchase should have been tracked to my account. Otherwise would be a decent app.

    Making me repay a subscription. I used to love this app, so much that I decided to purchase the unlimited back in 2020 for like $7. (can’t remember exactly how much) It was a onetime perchase and now it is asking be to subscribe monthly or yearly when I had already bought it! Truly devastating because I really enjoy editing my pictures on here.

    ONLY 3 FREE DEVELOPS. you get 3 free develops until you have no choice but to pay, while I understand having to, to be able to access a nice amount of vintage filters, the app looks unfinished and it’s just not worth it

    New Update. The new update added pre-set filters which now makes it like every other film app. Before the update, this was a great app and the only one I found that was like it. Very disappointed in the update.

    took my money & doesn’t work. I purchased the yearly subscription, and when I tried to get on the app, it kept on crashing. So, I reinstalled the app and now my subscription is gone. I would like my money back, as I never got to even use it properly.

    Bring the old version back!. Classic example of: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I used to be so impressed by this app. It would show me my photos reimagined and it often made me fall in love with them in a new way. Now I can’t even imagine ever using it. The filters look so bad now and the new interface is very ugly.
