   Over it. I’ve had this app since 2016/2017 when it was free. I gave the subscription a chance it’s $8.99 a year. So I wasn’t complaining about that. But ever since I’ve started having to pay for the app, it’s much worse! It literally freezes mid type! I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It continues to freeze. I don’t know what happened to this app, but the app is really bad now. You can’t even enter anything without it freezing!

   Please make the data export free. I typed all transactions into the app by hand. Why do I have to pay money to get my data back? It was completely free 1 year ago, that’s why I used it. Now it started to charge money to view the chart. I’m fine with it, but please give my data back

   Hate the new update look. I liked it and was using it, the colorful charts helped providing quick info on spending and was very easy to use. Now it’s all black and much less convenient to use with the UI. I’m deleting it and getting another app.

   New Version is Terrible. New version crashes often and the overall UI is not intuitive. Why fix it when it ain’t broke? It was so simple to use and that’s the point. Garbage update.

   Bad update. This was an excellent simple tracker app. But with the new upgrade, it’s lost its location tag, and every time I try to add a location tag, it crashes on me. I was always able to perform CSV export but they’ve now killed that to last 7 days unless you subscribe to a pro. Looks like I’ll be looking for a new app

   Hid items behind “pro” and didn’t tell users. They hid features like exporting behind an in app purchase and told us it was “bug fixes” in the release notes. Bruh

   Question. Can the info on my iPad be linked with my iPhone app so I don’t have to always input the info on 2 devices.

   True review. I thought this was a good piece of software early on but found many bugs. The developer never responded to any requests. After about half a year of complaining to developer, finally an update arrived. Now the advertisements are back and the software does not recognize I already paid to remove these ads. What makes it worse is that now the developer will make you pay every year to remove the advertisements. No support as developer writes in application area of program restore purchases not working but over a month has passed and issue not resolved. Originally, if you purchased this program to support developer it was for life. Now the developer wants you to pay every year. Developer should keep promise of pay once for life for early purchasers as promised. I am in advanced computer user with many years of experience and technology. Use apples numbers and skip this one until the developer is more responsive and responsible. This is shady business and Apple should not allow this business activity. It appears Apple is not paying attention for its application approval process. Would someone please wake up.

   Terrible updates. The app was great until the recent changes. There are significantly less options. You cannot organize the categories in alphabetical order, so you have to scroll through all of your categories when you are registering something. It used to give you some options as to how your categories were displayed. Now, it jumbles them all and puts your "last used" at the top, no matter what, in your scroll down menu. I have invested a tremendous amount of time in this app, faithfully registering all of my expenditures in many categories I have created. With 17 days to go in the year, the updates have ruined everything. I like to enter $.01 as an expense (as a placeholder so I remember) for a purchase and then go back and enter the correct amount when I have more time. This is often necessary when, for example, you purchase items belonging to numerous categories at one store. This is not possible with these ridiculous updates. You cannot go back and edit ANYTHING. The way it presents information in a search is horrible since the update. It requires SIGNIFICANTLY more clicks. It is significantly more difficult to read the information. I am NOT frustrated with change. I understand how to use the old and new version of the app. I am frustrated with the changes in this app that make it a completely different app. I am frustrated that these ridiculous changes were made with 17 days to go in the year!! Don't you think some time in January would have been a better time to come out with any changes? I absolutely I hate this app now.

    Perhaps too minimalist. I really like the simplicity of this app, but perhaps it is too minimalist. There is no access to help within the app (that I can find) and the developer's website (via the App Store) seems to be nonexistent. When looking at the reports only one decimal place shows. It would be nice to see two decimal places as that is what I expect in a "money" app. I've only given it one star because there doesn't seem to be any app support at all.

    Bug - Posted transactions have dates pushed 1 day back in the past. Great app. Been using it for years and paid premium. Today Feb 11, 2025 I noticed most if not all entries have their dates pushed back 1 day in the past. So any entry you entered on the 1st day of a month is appearing on the last day of the previous month. This cascaded to transactions years before. Emailed support. Hopefully they’ll fix it asap then I’ll edit this review.

    Not intuitive. I manage all my finances through Quicken but when it comes to what I spend the money I withdraw from the ATM, it's a black hole. I wanted an app that would allow me to track that cash spending. This app will certainly do that, but I found the UI a bit confusing and clunky. It just seemed to be missing something, like a nice clean ledger showing deposits and expenses. For me it just didn't work.

    Great Free App. I really like how simple and useful this app is even though it is free. The one thing I dislike is that they removed a feature where I could see months expenses in birds eye view. Now I have to scroll to see each month individually.

    Simple, But Missing Key Features. I really like the interface of this app and the simplicity of it, however, I wish it had a couple more features that still wouldn’t take away from its user-friendliness... -Custom pay periods: I get paid on Saturdays, so Receipt Box’s automatic Sunday-Saturday week is harder for me to use because it cuts off when I actually get income only one day into my pay period. -Sortable/Moveable categories: I wish I could sort the order of my categories that way I could keep all bill-related expenses next to eachother and all food, grocery, living expenses together. Other than that, I really like the app... but those missing features leave me looking for a different receipt/expense tracking app after all.

    Good but.... You can’t enter multiple categories for purchases. At Target, I bought a few groceries and some clothing. I can only categorize one. So it doesn't help me track what I’m actually spending in multiple category stories. Even grocery stores carry clothes now, so it is important to track what is what.

    Language changed. I have been using the app for a couple of years. Today when I opened it, it was in Japanese instead of English. I did not make this change and I can’t figure out how to change it back to English. I sent an email to the developer and I am still waiting for a response.

    Kind of expensive and few things.. I feel it’s a little expensive per year for what you get and I’d like to rotate between categories easier. I do like it and think it will help keep track of where we are wasting money. Also please make it easier to adjust the date without losing what you have written down. Thank you! :)

    One thing. I absolutely LOVE this app! Keep it as it is. But one change I would recommend is to add another “Income” option. I like to track my Income separately.

    Awesome App for Tracking Your Spending. I have only been using this app for a few days, but it has helped me understand where I am spending what, and it isn’t cluttered like some other apps! My only issue is it doesn’t show the current balance for your total amount of funds. It would be useful to see what you are supposed to have and what you are missing. Overall though, great app!

    Simple the way I need. My only issue is that I can’t set the badge icon to show my current balance and not just what I spent. That doesn’t help me and it’s out of context against my balance. To find my balance I have to go into reports-it’s not on the main screen. If your app did that it would be exactly what I need and therefore perfect.
