   Goodbye after 12 years. Moving to Budget Sync. I’ve been faithfully using app for 12 years. Very sad to see the dev has abandoned it. The bugs have slowly collected, outdated interface, no native dark mode support and overall stagnation of feature development have caused me to search for alternatives. After experimenting with 126 alternative expense trackers, I finally found the best one: Budget Sync (by Fabian). encourage everyone looking for an alternative to move your data now. To Anishu: I want to thank you for developing this great app that I was able to use to track every cent for 12 years. Best of luck to you !

   Horrible app. I would love to give this app a five star unfortunately one of the major Future does not work, which is OneBudget. You should be able to set up one budget, and should display a horizontal bar indicating the budget you set. In this case it does not work. I’ve contacted the developer at least five times if not more, they never responded. Terrible customer service. Of course they already got my money, so why should they? So don’t bother spending your money on this app.

   Developer doesn’t respond…. I found a bug and reported it. Never heard back from the developer after multiple attempts. I’ve been a user for 4-5 years. Disappointed in the lack of a response. Save your money and go with a more dependable app (developer).

   Does not work as described. Does not sync with most cards and banks as advertised. When asked for help it said it was offered as a curtesy however to me when I pay for an app that advertises sync ability then it is not a curtesy but a paid for service. Creating a spreadsheet works as well with no sync.

   Indefinite recurring income/payments need to be added. This app used to have indefinite recurring income/payments, now it ends after 2 years. This is very annoying and shouldn’t be hard to implement.

   Don’t download this app!. Don’t download this app - they charge you for no reason. It’s surprising because it’s not a subscription based app but I have a random charge on my credit statement from them. I tried to reach them through app support but number not found. Don’t download this app unless you want weird fraudulent charges on your card.

   Apparently No Longer Maintained. I had such hopes for this but, when I tried to sync with my iPhone, I went to the recommended site for instruction but, instead of instructions for this, there was information on another application called Finances.

    No Family Group Sync. Wasted $4.99 on this app. It won't let me log in to my family group sync with the correct group name and password. Not gonna enter everything twice.

    Not exactly user friendly. Not very user friendly. After making a budget multiple time, the app deletes what you save in it.

    Recurring transfer making it less ideal of an app to use. In the recurring transfers section on the HomeBudget app it no longer has an option for no end date and when I put a recurring transfer in it automatically takes the money out of the account for the amount of time I want the recurring transfer to take place. Example: I want $50 transferred each month for two years so $1200 was transferred right now instead of each month. This makes it so the recurring transfer option no longer is something I can use. Please fix this.

    Terrible App. This app is horrible for syncing purposes. My husband and I use this app to manage our budget, and it never ever syncs to my phone. I have manually pushed the sync button, we have sent the initial data to my phone multiple times and it works for about 1 day then no longer syncs again. We have tried everything to make it sync to my phone correctly so I have accurate data and it works only temporarily and then goes back to no longer syncing and we have to start from scratch all over again. Don’t waste your time with this app, especially if you use it with multiple devices or multiple people because it won’t ever sync up and your information will never be accurate.

    BALANCE Way off. The Balance is wrong. I don’t sync with my bank so it’s not a syncing problem, and I entered all my receipts and checked against everything on my bank statement. So it’s literally the Calculator part-the most important part obviously- of the app that’s defective. Also, unlike all other budget apps I’ve tried, the expense list doesn’t even show the payees!-you have to tap on the transaction to open it to see who the payee was. So you can’t just glance at the list to see what you’ve already entered. I spent so much time entering data into this app before discovering the balance was incorrect. I don’t understand why there are so many positive reviews. I have an iPhone 11.

    Does not Total Expenses Accurately. I was tearing my hair out wondering why this app was showing a higher balance than what is shown in Microsoft Excel. So I got a calculator and summed all income in Excel and subtracted all expenses. Excel was correct. I then did the same for HomeBudget and it was showing a balance $38.45 higher than Excel. I contacted the developer and am waiting for a response.

    Ridiculous. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! When we first got this app I thought it was great, but it hasn’t even been 30 days and all my info is gone and the app and computer program are GONE! I realized there is no phone number for customer support and I have sent tons of emails with ZERO reply! Just ridiculous and a waste of money and time!

    Not useful. I do not like the fact of this app does not sync with any of your financial institutes. Unless that is something you have to do from the computer rather than your phone. I want something user-friendly that just automatically connects. If I wanted to enter things and 15 times I wouldn’t have half the problems I do keeping a budget now.

    Backups just stopped with no alert. Automatic Dropbox backups were being taken until sometime in September, when they just simply stopped with no alert from the app. Upon checking the settings, it says my Dropbox account needed to be linked. If it became unlinked, I should have been alerted that the problem needed to be fixed. My data has not been backed up for the last 3 months!

    Long time user. Why the grey icons after the update? Also there used to be a way to see all of the income as a pie chart or columns with a date range - now you can view them month by month only. Also automatic back up doesn’t work. Get the income date range and icon colors back and I’ll update my review. Thanks.

    Recruiting bills. This app would of been great but it does not show the recruiting bills that I added for the following months after initial bill was created. Due to this I was late on several bills since a trusted that my bills that were showering were accurate. I contacted customer service by email and explained what happen and asked if they could correct this issue but they have yet to respond or fix it!

    Family sync doesn't work. Every time I add a second device, it deletes the first one, (even though on the device itself it says I'm in the group), so when I go to send initial data it says I must have at least 2 devices in the group for me to sync my data. Until this problem is fixed I may have to find a different app.
