   Bad. Has got to be the worst app I’ve ever had to deal with , customer service is garbage, I received a gift card and have not been able to redeem it at all. Forcing me to verify my identity just to redeem a gift card is beyond irritating

   Terrible stay away. Terrible system . I got a simple 40 dollar gift card . It’s been 3 days and they still can’t verify my identity so I can use the gift card I baught . Complete joke of a company. (Update) 5 days later I still can’t use my gift card and they have stopped all communication with me. SCAM. New update - it’s been 5 days and fold still won’t verify my identity so I can use my giftcard.

   Status 400 Error. I can’t even send bitcoin from here without facing the constant issue of getting a status 400 error message. Nothing on this in their FAQ and I’ve deleted, downloaded, and updated things a million times. Nothing. Support is taking forever to respond and remedy the situation

   Massive Downgrade. Used to be able to buy gift cards with your credit card. Now they’re forcing you to get their debit card to buy gift cards.

   A complete joke. I was excited to get account with this “company” but the app glitched out on the ID request. This was out of my control but they decided to penalize me because of their glitch. I have been denied access to service and the account.

   Complete Failure.. This “bank” is a complete failure. Their card is not universally accepted. It was rejected at study.com. Not a trustworthy bank. Customer service is from 1980, and they process bitcoin reward withdrawals WEEKLY instead of when you request the withdrawal, completely defeating the purpose of bitcoin (to save you a 20¢ fee). This company is doomed. I was an early adopter from Nostr. I should be able to withdraw my rewards over lightning. Worst banking experience I’ve had by far. Switch to SoFi and use Coinbase, Bitcoin Well, or whatever exchange. I think SoFi I bringing back BTC trading but I’m not sure

    SCAM. Do not download this APP and expect to get anything from it. I purchased $1,000 of ₿itcoin gift cards only to get this app and am unable to redeem them because they refuse to give me a ₿itcoin wallet that you must have through them or you can’t redeem the ₿itcoin. Even when I have submitted the required credentials. And even when the company has replied to my repeated requests over social media, X and emails from their horrible customer service department that claims to be “on it”. SCAM

    Can’t even sign up. Tired of being lied to by CS reps who claim to be employed by Fold but work for some janky third party. Identify verification is broken in the app and no one at Fold seems interested in working.

    Their customer support is trash. No phone number, can’t talk to a person in real life, emails go unanswered. Stick with Amex or trad cards. The extra steps ( which don’t work ) to try and stack sats isn’t worth the headache of this glitchy no help app. They tried and failed, time to move on.

    Terrible. I have given them the benefit of the doubt and given them time to respond. It’s been well over a week since I’ve given them a picture of my id and the date and my face to change my number. They have ignored it and ignored my multiple attempts to reach out via support. Don’t give them your info, they’ll just sell it. Edit: they keep saying I have two accounts I never made another account and are still refusing to just change my phone number so I can use my money

    My email to customer support verbatim. I have attempted multiple times after sending a utility bill and attempted transfer during business hours I would like my bitcoin in my other wallet I’m really getting fed up with it it’s almost not worth the time at this point I’m extremely upset and ready to stop using fold if I can’t transfer my crypto when I would like there is no use in me using it as a exchange/ passive investment into bitcoin overall unsatisfied I’ve also had a deposit not post this company is a joke I have honestly spent enough time trying to get my crypto that it’s honestly easier for me to just make the money back with how much time I have spent on this.     App Crashes IPhone 12. This app no longer works since the last update July 20th. Every time I select the app to open it just crashes. I am unable to withdraw from this app. I’m sure I’m not the only one experiencing this problem and makes me feel my money is being stolen along with others.

    Hard to trust. I opened an account with them with a referral. I put a small amount of money in this through a bank and left it for a few days. Something like 20 dollars. I transferred it out luckily and a few days later I get an email saying my Fold account is suspended. About three weeks later, I get another email saying something like it’s permanently closed and no details can be shared. At one point I wanted to start direct deposit from my job to automatically convert to bitcoin. Luckily I didn’t cause I would be locked out of my money. I never did anything nefarious on the account. It just sat on my phone with a small amount. They can flag your account at any point and not offer any insight on why it’s flagged. I’m glad I didn’t put any big amounts in and didn’t lose anything at all. I won’t be trusting this “banking” company even if they reversed their findings.

    Used to Be Great, Now It's a Mess. I'm writing this as a long-time, paying Fold+ member who once advocated for this app. It pains me to say that Fold has completely lost its way, and I can no longer recommend it to anyone. The core issue is their new rewards structure, specifically for ACH payments. It's a masterclass in 'bait and switch.' They advertise earning sats on bill pay, but hide the rewards behind a deliberately confusing and predatory system of "Qualified Spend" from the previous month. The result? You can be a premium paying member, pay your bills as advertised, and receive absolutely zero rewards. It feels like a scam, plain and simple. When I reached out for help, I was met with insulting, canned responses. Even after escalating my complaint, the replies were robotic and unhelpful, essentially just pointing to the fine print I was complaining about in the first place. There's no genuine customer support here, just a company hiding behind its own convoluted terms. The utility of this platform is dead. The promise of earning meaningful rewards has been replaced by a system designed to make you fail. I have cancelled my auto-renewal and will be taking my business elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache. There are better, more honest services out there. Try Future card as an alternative. Great APY, user friends app, and numerous perks for using their platform.
