   Worst Ever Experience. The Microsoft Authenticator sends you into a never ending loop. They have nothing on Apple or Google… I want to throw my phone and scream into the endless void of nothingness until my head turns inside out…. Aaaahhhhh!!!!

   Errors in setting accounts to iPhone 17. This was the most time consuming problem to activate office 365 subscription. I called support and was told that I had to pay 350 usd to troubleshoot the problem. What a waste of time.

   Prevents use and protects nothing.. Always gets in the way when work needs done. It prevents employees from work and like all Microsoft products it’s buggy and seems more like a beta version than an actual product.

   Login problems. Keeps raking for my phone to log on and then says it’s wrong. It’s not. Super freaking frustrating. Can’t find anyone to help me. Was on hold for an hour after two other calls and finally hung up. The repeated music was making me crazy. Still no resolution

   Piece of junk. Every time I get a new phone, getting my accounts set back up is a nightmare. It wont let you delete and re-add an account. It tries to have you sign in but then it asks for an Authenticator code to complete the sign in process. When you have it text you a code and you go to get the code it locks itself and then you can’t submit the code because the “verify” button goes away after you unlock. It is very frustrating. Microsoft in general is very frustrating.

   Keyboard Keeps Blocking Screen. The app is locked, but I can’t press unlock because the keyboard blocks it. So frustrating

   Sign in. Trying to connect my email to the Authenticator and it’s asking me to use the Authenticator to approve of my sign in.. how does that make sense? I can’t approve it if I don’t have the access on the Authenticator…

   Loop Mishap. The app worked perfectly until I got a new phone and was put in an infinite loop of it asking me to confirm the two-digit code. I don’t have my old device and it won’t let me re-add or reset the app. Because of this, I can’t log in to the majority of my school related websites and applications.

    Forcing users to download. I’m convinced every 5 star review on this app is from a bot. I never write reviews but here I am. Forcing users to download and allow notifications is asinine.

    This is by far the most frustrating thing created by man. I hate how everything requires you to use this app and it’s quite frustrating when I need to sign in to my school accounts and all I get is “try using the Authenticator app” and this garbage of an app doesn’t let me I need to verify my identity and I try to use a verification code but I can’t even use it because it’s either go to my email which I can’t do that because it’s wanting me to use this stupid app. Everything requires me to verify with this app but I can’t even use it because I need to verify my identity using the same app that I use to verify things so overall terrible app and I can’t even use my school accounts now.

    Frustrating. Nearly impossible to transition to a new phone. Trying to sign into my accounts on this app and it’s sending an Authenticator code…. If I could get the codes I wouldn’t be trying to sign in. How would that ever even work?

    Worst piece of trash app prevents me from using Microsoft. I cannot unlock the app because it doesn’t accept my Touch ID even though other apps do and won’t allow me to change to PIN. The only way to get around this is to redownload the app.despite this the app won’t work. Computer wants me to enter a number to authenticate but there is no where in the app to enter said number even after refreshing the app.

    Warning: this will break and lock you out of your MS account. If you upgrade your phone with this app installed, you will not be able to log back into Microsoft afterwards. An authentication loop will result. This is a known issue and Microsoft will not help you if this happens, saying “we do not support this application on apple devices”

    Endless Authenticator Loop. Every time I try to log into an app on my phone that I previously used (needs password reset) I get caught in an endless loop where Authenticator asks me to approve the sign-in number. The problem is the app I am trying to setup redirects me to Authenticator during the setup so when I go into the Authenticator app to approve the sign-in I get redirected to the same page I was just on saying go to Authenticator to approve the sign-in number. One endless loop and I have not had access to my work apps for months.

    Inconvenience. I’ve had my hotmail account FOREVER. But whenever I add a work account to my outlook profile, it kicks my hotmail account out of the Authenticator. This is an annoying and predictable inconvenience. Please make it stop.

    Forced to download another app.. Why do I need an “authentication” app on my personal phone to sign in to my new email address that my work made me. They force me to download this app. There was no other way to sign in to the email account. Makes zero sense, and I don’t see how it makes anything more secure. stop making me download apps that I use one time for one specific thing.
