   App Frozen. Two Years of Photos Lost. I’ve had this app for several years. Worked great until log in page froze and won’t allow entry of passcode. Have requested support multiple times. No help given. No ready fix apparent on SV site. Two years of photos gone.

   Can’t see photos and videos. So my dad passed last year( I’m on his iPhone) and his pro subscription for this expired. I am unable to save everything to his camera roll or even view his main album because it’s trying to force me to use the Pro version. I don’t want the pro version. How do I just use a free version so I can save everything and be done with the app?

   Revoked features I paid for. Purchased the paid version of app many years ago, now they’re making me pay a subscription service to keep the features I once paid for when it was a one time purchase or forcing me to downgrade to lose what I paid for. Very scummy

   3 years. I have used this app for over 3 years, I pay a monthly fee to them for cloud storage. They did an update a month or so ago that has made the app very unstable for someone that uses their cloud vault service. I have been going round and round with them with no solution so I am cancelling that service. Why should I continue to pay for a service that they have rendered useless by their own updates and they will not fix the issue. The app worked almost perfect before their latest update they did over a month ago. Their changes and their poor customer service is the reason for this review, I wish Apple gave the option for zero stars that is what I truly want to select.

   Subscription based. It’s ridiculous to pay a subscription for a simple photo storage app. This practice is annoying and annoying intrusive ads just make it look cheap

   Literally scam. This is one thing that'll forever bother me. they give u a subscription of letting u try to buy and get more storage for ur photos and cloud save but the thing that made me upset is when u do buy the subscription, later on you'll come back to the app and 1. they're syncing with photos take FOREVER 2. when u sign back into ur cloud vault they will say "Login Error Failed to validate login with server, please try again later The Internet connection appears to be offline." but even tho my internet is fine and i already restarted the app so they're wouldn't be any problem but it still says the same thing. i wouldnt trust this app neither the other app thats a copy of this bc they really love to take the money then never email back about anything saying they'll fix it this issue. i wouldnt put ur hopes up to this app until they fix this problem..

   No problem. No problem, as long as you don't mind giving the developers access to all of your saved photos, as well as five other categories of your personal,information.

   Locked out of main folder as well as decoy folder. No idea how long it has been an issue, but today I tried to get in and it would not let me into either folder. I have never been locked out enough to have a countdown, much less a half hour countdown, and now I am.

    Terrible Support. For several weeks I have been unable to sync my data as SV reports that I have exceeded my storage limit - which I haven’t. Despite numerous requests to support over the last 4 weeks, the developer has made barely any attempt to find a solution. I would strongly discourage others from purchasing a subscription to this app.

    The App Send Way Too Much Data Out!. Run Proxyman and see for yourself. This app sends a ton of private data to firebase. It’s not as “private” as you may think.

    APP doesn’t work - no support IOS 18.. It may work for some but I’m on IOS 18 and the app will not allow me to enter my swipe codes. Saw this issue with IOS 17 as well. Support asked me a few questions but it’s been about 2 weeks with no feedback. I just want to get my images out at this point. I’ve used the app for years, but not being usable or no support is a sign to move on.

    The Update Ruined Everything. Up until now, photo vault was the best app on the market, however, their new feature sadly converted an easy two step process of moving one photo from one album to another to a now 5 step process for absolutely no reason, I am so disappointed and hope this will be fixed soon…

    Storage space elephant. I have one problem with SV. My Photos folder contains 14,214 items, including both photos and videos and uses 4.38GB. My SV app contains 1,275 photos with no videos at all but uses 5.73GB. That’s a difference in average item size of .315MB in Photos as opposed to 4.597GB in SV.

    Very little to know personal customer service. I’ve tried a numerous occasions approximately 17 emails to the support team to assist me in locating my files, after the pattern lock feature stopped working. I was instructed by an automated text to update the app. Once I updated the app. I lost all of my files in the cloud to date. I still have not been able to access. With no real support or guidance, it appears that the Customer Service emails that I received are all automated with no direct correspondence with anyone who can assist or Direct me with the right instructions on how to retrieve my files or even assist me in doing so

    Could be much better. The free version of this app is decent, but there's nothing that really sets it apart from a dozen other similar apps. The lowest tiered premium subscription is obscenely overpriced ($40/year for few features and a measly 50GB of online storage). And in to get the most needed feature of all (nesting folders), you're going to have to lay out $120 a year. Yeah, ain't happening.

    Good App; concerning privacy issues. This app functions very well and helps keep your media organized and password protected. In this regard it is an easy 5 stars. However after reviewing the privacy policy of this app I realized that the category of “User Content” is being shared with advertisers Which directly contradicts the point of being a private vault. I just don’t understand how a private media focused app could be allowed to do this to their users. Hoping they can correct this soon.

    Doesn’t work for videos unless it is 25 fps. Since v.2.13 videos stop midway through. I’ve sent email but no help. Looking for an alternate program. You changed the allowable fpm for videos with the 2.13 update. I had to go back and reformat. It works now but should have answered that when you were contacted by me by email. Didn’t care until I gave you poor rating. Duh.

    Rip off 2. I had the same problem I got a new iPhone and when everything backed up from iCloud onto it my photo vault app was empty and I lost precious pictures of my grandchildren and other memories that I cannot get back. It’s sad. Now I bought this brand new iPhone and the same thing happened again my pictures are gone and all I have is a clean photo vault to start with. This app and I think I paid $1.99 for it I can’t remember is a rip off and it screwed me over on my memories that I can no longer get back to show somebody or see ever again.
