   Way too easy to lose a streak. I was tapping to get into the actual app interface since it shows a quote in the splash screen, and it bypassed the ability to repair my streak and I lost my 200 day streak. So disappointing. Make it so that people have to tap an X to close the repair streak screen. I’m so upset that I spent 200 days building up this streak only for it to be lost because I tapped one too many times.

   Endless Ads. This used to be a great app. Now I have to go through 10 pages of „intention setting“ before I can even get to the timer. Ruins the entire experience.

   Dead to me. I’ll admit, I don’t use this app enough. So when I decided to get back on the bandwagon and reached for my “simple meditation timer” I was floored at what this app has become. This thing is a mess now. Just shilling and selling a subscription like every other app, to the detriment of the experience. It’s the OPPOSITE of calming. I JUST WANT A TIMER. I think at this point I’m going to just write my own app and give it away for free or a nominal charge and have something that’s actually useful.

   Why make the animations longer?. I’ve finished meditating, why extend the time it takes to convey all that ending info? Just because I’m in a relaxed state doesn’t mean I want to spend more time in the app Also, stop asking me to add a widget A meditation app adding annoyances is kinda hilarious

   They make you sign up. Cannot use the app without first personalizing the experience. User interface does not allow for continuing to use the app without answering "Tell me why you're here." Frustrating because I just want to use the app without having to give out this data to access the valuable content. I want to be able to navigate the content without an AI personal assistant.

   What happened?. As an off again, on again paid member, this app used to be great. There’s still great content, BUT I don’t want to constantly set goals, click thru pop ups, and I’m sick of getting the same 6 notifications at noon each day telling me to resume content I was interested in/completed in 2018 (despite having everything in encouragement and notifications turned off). Just stop!

   Super frustrating. I’ve been trying to use this app for a while now, but i can’t even get past making an account. I reached out to customer service via email twice and have not gotten any response/solution. Really a bummer because i’d love to be able to use the app and all it’s features especially because it doesn’t require a subscription for people on a budget such as myself. I really hope i get a response and am able to enjoy the app like everyone else!

   Stressful. I created an account, paid. App didn’t work with my operating system. Got a new phone, can’t login, can’t start over, no response from customer service.

   Update crashes. This is my favorite app, I use it daily, multiple times. However ever since the app updated last week, about 80% of the time that I try to open it, it stays frozen on the “insight timer” loading screen. I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times to no avail. IDK what else to do. I have an iPhone 11 with ample storage on my device and in iCloud.

    Was a long time user, now im gone.. Used to use this app a lot. Its gotten worse. Im greeted by the longest unskippable opening survey I have ever seen in an app possible. I am not exaggerating, it is seriously the worst experience I have ever had an app that claims to be for meditation just is irritation instead. Four questions in the first bar isn’t even halfway filled. Are you bloody insane? So many ads so many pop-ups this is a no go anymore. This app has fallen from the grace at once was. I highly recommend finding another app I have deleted and uninstalled this garbage. Greed has certainly got to the developers. An app should be simple, easy to use and frictionless. You don’t force people to handover their wallets, you encourage it by giving them such a great experience they don’t think of anything else other than to hand you over money. You have failed spectacularly. I guarantee the developer won’t respond to my review, they’re callus and don’t care.

    customer experience has evolved horribly. This app has become so frustrating to use. I don’t want to have to answer numerous questions and set goals every time I start using the app, and there is no option to skip this process. I used to enjoy using this app, but all of this forced customization makes me so frustrated that when I finally get past the questions, I really just want to exit this app and use another. Ruined a perfectly good resource for relieving anxiety.

    Unskippable pop-ups SUCK. Wow a meditation app that stresses you out with constant pressure to upgrade, constant fingers in your pockets, unskippable splash screens to COMPEL YOU to ~feel the peace~ like wow yeah this so peaceful not being able to control where I am in your app and being forced to set goals I don’t want to fking set. Patronizing AF. By the way, your quote widget does anything BUT display daily quotes. You should be a bit more honest and call it the “Happy Whatever Holiday, Now Open The App And Pay Me” widget. Gamifying meditation is abuse lol. Deleting and never looking back.

    Disabled by Administrator?. I started using the app again recently and tried out the trial to check out some of the guided sessions. When I cancelled the trial, my entire account was disabled. With no notification. No message in the app. Just “invalid username or password.” It doesn’t tell me it’s disabled until trying to reset the password. This was before the trial even expired (likely violating Apple’s terms for trials).

    Lost Its Focus. Used to be a great app. The goal now is to clearly monetize meditation as most apps do. I only need the timer (which is great, especially the interval bells), but I keep getting unskippable mood and goal screens and other nonsense. Maybe I’ll just go with a sand timer.

    no monthly subscriptions - only yearly. as the title says update - turns out it was the cancel yearly trial, resubscribe now that monthly is available thing. this app is great, lots of content and very customizable. but i really hate that shady subscription practice even though lots of devs do it - so i’m changing from 1 star to a 4 instead of a 5.

    Stop forcing it. I wanted to simply use the app as I have done previously, but upon log-in it was forcing me to pick a goal for meditation and such. If I want to choose a goal, I will. Attempting to force into a course of action has led me to delete your app and never trust it again.

    plus subscription free trial is a nightmare. plus subscription free trial is the worst. they have tried over and over to charge a card i never gave them, that they don't even have on file. i tried the FREE trial of plus to see if id like it. it's nice. but its seriously difficult and deceptive when you are trying to cancel it and there's no other way to do so besides contacting support via email. the cancel subscription button on their website doesn't even work. it doesn't cancel. at. all. seriously disappointed. i love their app and have used it for years, but your subscription model is seriously losing trust in your users. people want a good meditation app, not some auto pay scheme that is nearly impossible to cancel.

    Latest Updates Are Dragging It Down. 22/05/2026 Latest update has me very un-chill when I go to meditate. My bookmarked/fav meditations are all gone. Gone. This may be the update that pushed it too far for me. There’s no point if I can’t get to the tracks I need to. ****************************** I used to really love the global focus of this app; the Namaste of it. I loved opening the app, meditating, and seeing the large group of “individuals” who were sharing the experience and goal of global enlightenment. The updates over the last 6 years have evolved the app in a way that has taken it from being focused on universal shared experience to individualism. The absolute worst part now is the way they’ve changed messaging. You can no longer mutually thank people for meditating with you. There are people I’ve meditated with for 6 years and now suddenly I can’t thank them.

    Too Complicated. Used to be a simple timer app to use for meditation - they’ve added so many features at this point that in order to meditate for 10 minutes I have to swipe through up to 20 different promotional windows without the ability to X out. Instead of feeling zen, I feel like throwing my phone out the window. Will probably uninstall.

    Disappointed w/changes. This used to be an amazing app but now they have slowly chipped away at the things that make it great—the latest being the removal of saved favorites. I spent time and energy curating sessions I liked and now they appear to be gone.

    Distracting and annoying, everything a meditation app shouldn't be. Canceled subscription. Validated, but sad, to see I’m not the only one disappointed with the changes in this app over the last few years. It used to be a great, intuitive meditation timer/tracker with guided meditations. Now it’s distracting, annoying, and clearly developed for engagement instead of helping you meditate -- I guess that's what happens when an app gets bought out by venture capitalists. Even so, some elements simply defy reason: if you pay for a subscription, the annoying pop-ups get WORSE. I've never, ever seen that before. It's a great way to drive away paying subscribers. Really sad to witness the deterioration of what used to be a great app which I would've gladly continued paying for.

    Ruined by the suits. This app has been ruined by product managers who need to hit their targets so they can get their bonuses. It used to be a great and simple meditation bell. Now I can’t open it without getting inundated by idiotic notifications and requests to start a streak (I’ve told it every time I do not want this!). It keeps trying to upsell me. So annoying. Ruined by suits.
