   Grocery shopping list. Ads are terrible, especially the ones that won’t let you escape them, or are written in a foreign language so you can’t tell which button opts out! I’m deleting it now!

   malware?. If I could rate it less I would. I’ve only had this App about a month, and all of a sudden when I try to search an image for the item I am adding it wants me to sign up for “TopContent.com. “. I close that and like before it gives me the images I am looking for. After trying to enter 2-3 other things same thing, it jumped to “YOUR PHONE HAS 197 VIRUSES” and of course you have to back up and open up the original “GROCERY LIST” APP. Not even a keeper! This is not the same APP I had before for years.

   List, Pantry, & Personalized Items All Deleted W/ Update!. ALL of my different lists, my pantry, and the endless items I had added to item list or personalized over the last two years have all disappeared with the most recent update!!! I loved this app but if this doesn’t get resolved I’ll definitely cancel my subscription. :(

    The Developer says “I don't understand the cause of these problems, sorry”. I have been using this app for a long time, with the previous version initially. I liked it so much that I have been paying the ad free subscription. Following the most recent update, the app stopped working on both my iPad and my iPhone. On my iPad, it has defaulted to the shopping lists I had in 2021. It has also resulted in the loss of approximately 500 items from my items lists. Where I had over 1100 items, painstakingly added over the years, with brand details and images, there are now just 659. Where some items are still there, the images have disappeared. On my iPhone, I could not even log into the app. When I tried to log in, it said there were missing or insufficient permissions. If I used the wrong password, which I did on purpose, it said the password is invalid or the user does not have a password. In the developer’s response on Saturday 21st January, he said there are problems when migrating data to a cloud server and that he was looking for reasons to try to fix them, but I did not hear from him until I emailed again on 27 January, not even to tell me he had released an update. I happened to noticed that when I emailed the first time, the app version said 2.0.1 (6) but now it says 2.0.3 (1). I emailed to say that the update had had no impact and was told to delete and reinstall the app on my iPhone, which I did. It allowed me to log in but it is now the same as my iPad. The shopping lists are out of date and the 500+ items I added previously are still missing, as are many of the images for the remaining items. I asked if there is a way to restore them as it took such a long time to develop my items lists and his response this morning was “I wrote a procedure for migrating data to a new cloud server. But there are some users who have problems. I don't understand the cause of these problems, sorry”. Not impressed. And the apology doesn’t even feel sincere, especially given that I would even have had that if I hadn’t emailed again.

    Empty. Since the update 6 days ago the whole app is empty! The pre-set categories are gone, as is the preset food plus all the things I have added. I’ve just gone in to check my shopping list for tomorrow and everything is gone!

    Way Too Many Ads. Just deleted the App. The Ads were getting out of control! I get it, they want you to purchase the App for no Ads but all you’re gonna do is just drive people away and find another App like I did. If you don’t mind the annoying and out of control Ads, go ahead and use it.

    Grocery List. After the update it wiped out all of my lists and items that I had added. Again after spending quite a bit of time loading pics and prices on over 100 items everything was gone. I had even registered this time to make sure that it didn’t happen again. Alas no such luck, everything is back to the original app. Don’t waste your time trying to add new items they will disappear. Not impressed at all.

    Where are the pictures??. I just paid for the app, and unlike in the images in the App Store depicting the features of this app, there are no pictures available at all for any of the products already listed! False advertising!!!!

    Why do I need to register?. It’s supposed to be an app for personal shopping lists but they want you to register with them and give them personal info before you can even get into the app. Deleted immediately.

    Was Great…not any more. App itself has good functionality, shareable and can easily add pics of items. Understand the need for Ads however over the past year they have become longer and longer, exit buttons are hidden and move around. Too painful. I am deleting and finding another option.

    Lost settings and pictures. I used to really like this app but the latest version suddenly had all the demo lists back that I had deleted, it reset my language settings, it lost all the pictures, and when I try to edit an entry that I had added previously it tells me that I can’t edit it as it was created by another user (which is not possible and I am logged in stilll with the same login). Was told that the latest update would fix it but didn’t :(

    Underdeveloped. Positives: - The photos for each item was a nice touch. That is why I chose to download this app instead of others. -Very pretty app -Easy to sign up -You can add items that are not already listed in their pre-made categories. Negatives: -Could not find any way to change currency. (I use US dollars) -There is no way to add your own photos to items you’ve added to the app -The design of the “list” part of the app doesn’t look as nice and polished as the rest of it.

    Grocery List Pro. I paid for this app and have been very disappointed that they continue to place ads that lock you out of the list while playing loud music to the ads. It’s disappointing that I can’t use this list anymore and I’m glad that Apple came out with a list on Reminders with their new update. This app is now a distant memory for me.

    Grocery List. This app is awesome as you can upload pictures that are relevant to your area and what is available in your region! Love it. However, recently, it has started doing something weird. I emailed you but no response, which was disappointing. Lately some times when I go to open the app, an extremely old list will appear.

    Too many ads. This app used to be great, with minimal ad interruptions. I don’t even mind static ads at the bottom of the screen… but now there are full-screen video ads that you have to wait for until you can even access your grocery list. Every. Single. Time. So I’m standing there in the grocery isle like an idiot over and over again, waiting for an ad to play just so I can update my list and move on to the next isle. This sucks. I wouldn’t mind spending money to remove ads, but not a subscription. This is such a simple ap there’s no way that it justifies a subscription. Boooooo! In response to your reply; I’m not asking for “free and ad-free”. I would happily make a one-time purchase of $5-$10 for this app. The current frequency and duration (and audio) of ads is souring the user experience. Time to start looking for an alternate list app.

    Great app ruined by ads!. Productivity? Not likely when you’re spending 30 seconds looking at a stupid game ad when you’re trying to add an item to your darn list! I really could love this app! It’d be really great if you could shut off the ads. I can’t find a way to. Would highly recommend avoiding unless I get a reply saying ads can be stopped somehow. I’ve never written an app review before and wouldn't have bothered but if there is a way to stop ads please let me know, because this app could be worth it. Update: found where to make it ad free. Sorry I’d pay 5.99 to purchase permanently maybe 7.99. But not $12.99 per year. Looking for new app now
