   I’ve never been more disgusted and disappointed in a app honestly. This app honestly just wasted a good amount of time in my life that I will never get back. If you like wasting your time as well then yea you should download this.

   AI Slop. I used this app to review my Spanish vocabulary but the new update is clearly just AI slop from the pictures to the content of the entire courses. I really dislike the AI push that has inundated everything so deeply with language learning. What is the point of learning a language if you learn it from a bot? Not to mention the constant push to sign up for the subscription all the time. It’s nauseating and I will never install this app again.

   My premium lifetime paid account disappeared. I have been using drops for over 3 years and had paid for lifetime premium subscription. Today all my info is gone and I am not on premium any more???

   Too many reviews. I keep having over a hundred quiz mode reviews despite reviewing the same vocabulary for months! I feel like I can’t move on to learn new vocab or else the new reviews will get buried with the old. I would spend an entire day clearing out over 100 quiz mode words and I would either get another 70 within the same day or over 100 the next day. It’s so exhausting, I want to learn new words. :(

   Manipulative Marketing & Preset Annual Premium Membership on Free-Trial. The app is ok. That's not the problem or cause of the 1-star rating. I gave 1star because the developers auto-set the free-trial to end on a premium annual membership rather than give the user the option to select or change the membership duration (1-month, 3-month, etc.) before the trial officially begins. This tactic is unacceptable for Drops if they are dedicated to language learning and teaching. I guess I'm committed to using the app for the year but I'm not happy about being manipulated into a year contract, even if it helps with my language learning. I'm a principled person. I wouldn't recommend Drops to anyone I know personally and I warn others to check cancel immediately if they try their free trial. I was 1-day late by the way.

   Listen to this before buying. The company uses the free trial as a way to make you automatically pay for the yearly fee instead of by monthly this is an unethical company. And they do not do grammar, strictly vocabulary do not buy or use or you will have similar issues!

    Awful. Bad User Experience. Cant use it anymore because you force me to download newer versions for no reason. It works perfectly fine as is. Now you force me to update and I can’t because my iOS isn’t enough. Terrible foresight for all customers and users.

    Boring. Don’t waste time on this app. After finish all levels, do ‘session challenge’ … each day challenge is consist of about 10 same words over and over, no other words ever show up… boring as hell, tired of going over same 10 words daily. It tells me I learned over 3700 words ( level 25) but since then no new words added, it means once leach this level, no more new words, so why people buy lifetime subscription which will not expand vocabularies, waste of money in my opinion. P.S. I hate the music for advertising, annoying tune!!!

    They do not review their own content. Script like Thai are clipped by how they are displayed in the UI. You cannot see the complete character/letter. Very sloppy, poor quality control.

    Always Something. Been using on a yearly subscription. Always something breaks. Currently, the app gets stuck. Can’t go forward, backwards….just quit. Lose progress, even when you get it correct. If I am paying for the subscription, I hope the little things work. They don’t. Won’t be renewing. Better apps out there. Frustrating cause I paid for a year!

    Randoms Bugs. Random bugs every now and then. For example, I can’t complete any checkpoint now because the exercise where you connect letters on a grid suddenly stopped working.

    Membership issues. I paid for a membership and it didn’t apply. The only way to get a hold of these people is through a stupid “feedback” button. Apples quality control over apps is really declining. I’m about to drop Apple all together.

    Navigation. Navigating the app is insanity frustrating. Almost no information is given to describe what each button or action does. In addition, there is no vocal pronunciation of words that are being learned.

    Update is bad. Drops recently updated their app and it’s just not good. There is no sense of progression or building blocks to learn the language. The app is now just a mishmash of phrase groupings for different situations or contexts. I can’t tell where I’ve worked as everything is buried in a bunch of categories. Who tested this UI??? Or did you just rely on AI? It’s awful. On top of this, they have confusing animations that could be used in multiple contexts or don’t really present the phrase you’re supposed to match it to.

    Changed rating after update. It’s a mess. Day count is off by four days, won’t go back to unfinished topics. Hunting for my lessons isn’t my idea of fun or learning. Y’all really ruined a great app in the last two revisions.

    Unreliable. Brushing up on my spanish and have to say.. this is clearly an ai generated product with massive problems. It's stating that Quería means "I would like", but is actually "I wanted" - past tense. Thats a huge difference in what you're trying to say and a rather basic aspect of spanish grammer! This was the first red flag, which had me looking for other issues, all of which I check with my roommate from Mexico City. Problems everywhere.. wrong words being used and terrible grammar.. this is just an ai translation with no human oversight - I feel robbed from the year subscription I dropped on this. Stay away!! And yes Drops, I already made requests to support, so spare me the ai generated response to this review!

    Out of order sequencess. When learning a language it's helpful to sequence the difficulty progression. In two of thanguages the couple of basic lessons are filled by a significantly moch more difficult one. It's exhausting, frustrating and soul sucking. Seriously fix the progression.

    Great app until it crashed. Yellow box appears over password and it doesn’t accept a sign-in. Tried a dozen times, but it’s gone.

    Barely works. What a complete waste of time. The microphone—when it works, which is just once after 15 minutes of trying—takes 3-4 seconds to respond. Was this app designed by Microsoft?

    INCORRECT vocabulary and grammar. Learning Tagalog on this app. Had to stop after a few sessions because the app is literally teaching incorrect grammar and wrong vocabulary. Terrible app. I don’t recommend this at all. Users be wary.
