   Not good for Vietnamese. Fell for the trap. Saw someone mentioning it being good for southern Vietnamese online. Little did I know that they only have one unit for Vietnamese, and it was very much focused on tourist interactions (while also being way too advanced for a tourist lol)… and it definitely didn’t have any units with southern Vietnamese language used. Oh well.

   App doesnt work anymore. This was my favorite app and was helping me tremendously with learning spanish. One day it just started getting stuck at the loading screen. I deleted the app and got it back but still its stuck on the M (main loading screen) and i cant move past that, log or sign in, nothing. Ive never seen anything like it and have no idea what the solution is. I hope the mango team will look into solving this soon, im extremely disappointed.

   Still no Dark Mode and no Kanji. There’s only “night mode” when doing a lesson but not when navigating the app or using flash cards. Please add an app-wide dark mode. One of the languages I’m learning is Japanese, I’d really like to see more Kanji being used in the lessons. Kanji is as important to Japanese as Hanzi (Chinese characters) is for Chinese. Mango manages to use Hanzi for Chinese immediately. Please fully incorporate Kanji in Japanese lessons—like is done for Chinese with the Hanzi characters.

   AI. Just started using this the other day and it seemed ok I guess but I just had a popup that said “How would you rate our AI conversation partner?” Um…. I’m not going to pay money if a human being is not actually writing the lessons. I’m trying to actually learn a language not AI garbled trash. I specifically came here to get away from Duolingo’s AI trash. Very disappointed.

   disappointed. idk if it’s just this state, but only like 3 or 4 libraries in major cities are partnered with them, so you kinda are screwed if you don’t live in a huge city i guess. to get a non-resident library card with any of these places it’s usually around 100 dollars a year, making it a moot point for anyone outside of those cities. only a few languages on this app are free, all the most popular ones allow you to do one very short beginner lesson before pushing a subscription. disappointing.

   EXCELLENT APP (but one thing). Amazing app, but it’s so frustrating I can’t listen to music or audio while using this app. It’s so so annoying. JUST LET US MUTE THE SPOKEN AUDIO. PLEASE.

    Testing on untaught material. Why do you ask me to “listen and try to understand” vocabulary that has not been taught or even exposed to me? You do this with a variety of questions. Basically, I can only guess the answers, but you phrase the questions as if I should already know the vocabulary or be able to figure it out. Extremely annoying. I felt like an idiot and was very discouraged until I realized it’s a flaw in your teaching. This should not have happened. It’s pretty easy for someone to check whether you are testing or quizzing on taught material. This may be a deal-killer for me. I’ll decide after the next lesson or two whether to continue myself and whether I’d recommend your app to others.

    Does this app work in ios?. I tried the sample before purchasing and it does not record my voice. I made sure the microphone was turned on for this app in security settings. None of the help topics on their App Support site address ios. They address browsers - edge, firefox, etc. I don’t see how this works at all on ipad.

    Bug with continuing last lesson. The last update still has a bug where after I do the daily review, it thinks I am one lesson ahead of where I was last time. This means I have to remember the last lesson and what card number (or whatever you call it) in the lesson I stopped at the day before. This is a new bug and it is really annoying.

    Only has Pakistani Punjabi. Wanting to learn Punjabi to connect closer to friends and family, but the only Punjabi available is Pakistani Punjabi. There’s a big difference in culture and language, I’m disappointed the app doesn’t support both. Please consider adding this 🙏

    Super boring. This is not vary fun. The kids will get broad vary easily the only reason they do it is because it teaches them. But not vary cool.

    Very poorly done. I have used a few other apps to learn Spanish, Norwegian and Russian with excellent results. I wanted to try Hebrew but this app is just a joke. I tried it, hated it, deleted it. Not worth my time.

    Broken app. I can’t get beyond the loading screen, so there’s no way this app works for learning a language when it doesn’t load ANYTHING.

    NO DARK MODE. It is unfortunate that in 2023 there is still no option for dark/ night mode. If you want to study at night you must do it with bright white backgrounds. No thanks. Please update this. Turns out there’s a night mode if you go into CERTAIN lessons. Not in the main part of the app and not in the vocabulary sections at all. This should be a universal switch to flip.

    Pronounces Ukrainian words as Russian. In the very first Ukrainian lesson it pronounces Kyiv as Kiev. Highly offensive. Deleted the app since now I can’t trust any of the other pronunciations.

    Glitchy. Can’t even use the app because when I go to take a placement test, the audio just stops after the first sentence, and there’s nothing to press, so im stuck.

    Frustrating. The feature where you pronounce it and then compare is not working. It will not speak and will not play back my audio. Then if i click out of it the lesson it is on will not play either! Why is there no where in app to report issues! Ugh.

    Why no European Portuguese?. Only Brazilian Portuguese. And for that matter only Latin American Spanish. Why no European Spanish?

    Mediocre app, inhuman company. This app is just okay but the company that makes it treats women horribly; they only give 2 weeks for maternity leave and tell new moms to take state sponsored disability (at 60% of pay) so they don’t have to pay them. Imagine being a new mom and being told you have to come back to work in 2 weeks or face termination—truly evil. Would never support this nightmare company again.

    No Reading?. I wanted to learn Biblical Hebrew. The only reason to learn Biblical Hebrew is to read it. The words aren’t typically words you’d use in daily conversation so why doesn’t the app teach you to read? Making me memorize phrases without teaching me to read the phrases doesn’t help me read the Old Testament. Not worth the time or money if you want to learn reading skills.

    Swahili is ALL WRONG!!!!!!!!!!. What a crap program. Swahili is completely wrong from the start and had soooooooo many misspellings!!!!!!! How is this even an app allowed on apple smh!

    Download not working. I’ve been trying to download this app for days now but it won’t work. My phone is updated to the newest version. Also the sound don’t work when I use website. It works for the first 2 slides then it stops. I tried troubleshooting but nothing is changing.

    Won’t download to IPAD. ML will not download to my IPAD. Every other app will. It looks like it has been offloaded with the white cloud icon. When you click it to download to the device it goes through the loading circle. When complete it has the same white cloud logo like it has been offloaded. I am able to download other apps.
