Glitchy. Not a good representation of James Clear.

Stopped updating. Randomly stopped updating when I tracked my habits. I pay for this app so it would be super cool if you all could fix it.

Paid subscription. Downloaded the app made some habits and thought I wouldn’t have to pay a subscription. I was wrong. Read the reviews and I would need to pay to have more than one habit tracked. I’m cheap and not willing to pay for a checklist. 1 star for trying to rope me in and then cut me off. Also I feel like a habit app that genuinely wants to help people be better shouldn’t cost money to keep using. I’m willing to pay a one time fee but I hate subscriptions.

No connection. Regardless of whether im on wifi or cellular, it keeps giving me “cannot connect “ errors

Don’t get sucked in unless you want an expensive subscription. It bothers me that this app was setup in a way to get you in the habit of making good habits, then after you do something ten times you can’t have more than a single habit without a subscription. I would gladly pay a one-time $20 for just the habit tracking, but that’s not an option. I can’t justify this kind of money for what boils down to a checklist app. Make the daily content be behind a paywall or something. I feel like this is manipulative from James Clear and I expected more.

Horrible interface. Have you considered not having a pop up every 2 seconds

Beware of Auto-Renewal Trap — No Refunds Even if You Don’t Use It. I was a fan of James Clear’s Atomic Habits, so I tried the Atoms app — but after the trial and first month, I stopped using it. A year later, I was auto-charged for an annual renewal with no reminder and no warning. I reached out to support the same day of the charge, but was told it was my fault for not cancelling and that no refund would be issued. This feels like a predatory subscription tactic — profiting off people who forgot to cancel rather than providing ongoing value. Definitely not what I’d expect from a brand built on “intentional living.” Disappointed and disputing the charge. If you’re thinking about trying this app, just be careful — and set a calendar reminder to cancel. You won’t get one from them.

Unnecessary subscriptions. I was barely holding on to this app after realizing I can only set 1 habit with the free version, now there’s the Pro version that doesn’t allow me to read any of my saved articles. I bought James Clear’s book first and thought that would be sufficient, then I stumbled on the app and thought, “How convenient!” That didn’t last long. Shameful that they’re taking away features and driving away loyal supporters.

Book was great, app was trash. You can use it to track 1 habit for free and if you pay, they only allow you to track 6 habits. WOW, so generous. Why is there a limit? Beyond that, this app offers nothing. The book was so good. Why is the app so bad?
- ★★★★★вылеты, зависания и ошибки
Still buggy. I have to type my name and add a profile picture EVERY SINGLE TIME I login to the app; unacceptable! Will update review if changes are made.

Overpriced; should be better.. The Good: + access to daily lessons (that you can read IN THE BOOK) right in the app + habit tracking features (duh) The Bad: - the widget CONSISTENTLY fails to display correctly The Ugly: - SUBSCRIPTION MODEL; no option for one-time purchase - the widget UI is UGLY - overpriced (imo) —— Considering that this is the official Atomic Habits app, this app should have much better widgets. Compared to competitors, the only thing this app has got is lessons you can learn from reading the book, which you can get for less than half the price of an annual subscription while using it in conjunction with a free habit tracker. This app is woefully overpriced, unless you want to pay for the bite-sized lessons and convenience. This seems like a cash grab to me.

Bad. Can’t sign back in

Only works if you pay. I have had this app for over a month, and it was pretty useful. But now all you can do is check one habit, anything else, you have to pay. Mercenary app.

Buggy. I really wanted to like this app, which is why I paid the outrageous premium price. It lacks so many of the basic data linking that other habit trackers have. It’s also extremely buggy. If you want to support James Clear - buy another book for someone. Don’t waste your money on this. Honestly I expected more from Clear than this.

Keeps loading when I am trying to create a new habit. Keeps loading when I am trying to create a new habit
- ★★★★★сохранение, экспорт или отправка результата не работают
Stays on loading screen. I just downloaded and it won’t even get past the defined my habit portion. It’s just forever stuck on right when i click to “Define my habit”. Whether i had no account or created an account, it won’t let me in.

App is Not Working. I downloaded the app and attempted to set my first habit - a tracker is attractive to me. Unfortunately, after two attempts with a reboot in between - both phone and App - I give up. I’ll find another habit tracker.

Doesn’t work. Does not work for me. Gets stuck loading when trying to make my first habit and will not progress.

Way, way, way too pricey. Atomic Habits is a great system but this app is extortion for the value generated. Tracking only 6 habits with the “Pro” version is a joke. Tracking only 1 habit for free isn’t worth the storage space for a glorified Reminders app. Develop the habit to not waste money by not buying overpriced tiny apps.

Worst Best App I’ve Ever Used. I’m now in my third attempt to get the app to work in a stable way and remember my data and it has failed again. I am done. I have the book and I have the methodology mastered and I will go off-line and do it manually.

Good luck with this app. Bug ridden with poor very limited info on what it does and how to do it if and when it works
- ★★★★★подписка и платные ограничения
Don’t waste your money. I found the app of limited value, not much better than just using a Reminders app. I asked for a refund and was denied.

Disappointed. I purchased and read Atomic Habits and loved all the tools and strategies the book contained. I credit that book with helping me end nighttime snacking! I enjoyed this app initially until the trial period ended. Unfortunately, this app offers very very little for the price.

Cost is too high. The app is too greedy. $4.99 a month to track 6 habits? Or only 1 free? That’s insane
- ★★★★★триал, списания и возврат денег
User beware. They use tricky wording and are not like other subscription services where you sign up for a free trial and then get charged if you’re still using it a month later. It looks like you are signing up for a free subscription of 28 days but they actually charge you right away. And they won’t issue you a refund either. Anyways, learn from my mistake and don’t pay so much money yearly for literally an alarm clock that will remind you to do a certain task every morning. Just set your own alarms&goals on your phone for free!

Limited in functionality and too costly. Installed second time only to see that we can only have 6 habits and cost is way too high for an average customer.

DARK MODE, A11y. How can anyone build an app designed to help others that doesn’t take into account that some of us can’t read a blinding white screen? It looks like a good, useful app, but with such shoddy accessibility I would never pay for it. I literally can’t look at it.
- ★★★★★негативный опыт без конкретной причины· без конкретики
Pricing is too steep. I was really enjoying this until one day i couldn’t only edit one habit. Oh but don’t worry with the pro version i can track three habits! $70 dollars a year is unjust. Nearly predatory for those desperate to change their lives. A one time fee i could maybe understand. This is what’s wrong with the self help industry.

$100 subscription?!. It’ll cost you around $100 to use the app after the trial period. Definitely deleting the app!

grim profiteering. cannot believe the things you people charge for. book’s pretty good though
