   Delay. The app itself the features are phenomenal. What I have an issue with and with the high rankings I am wondering if it is purely anecdotal app experience, but the delay in time in order to receive your code has consistently kept me from being able to enter code or to accept any rewards my son and I go to McDonald’s probably more than we should and again the experience is one of the worst if not, the worst I have ever had in terms of a delay, I have tried re-downloading. I’ve tried different accounts and for whatever reason it doesn’t seem to work effectively on my iPhone. This would be a five star app experience if it wasn’t for those issues. Unfortunately, for the most important feature in terms of being able to track and access your code and rewards. It has been an absolute failure and deserving of a one star.

   Needs better app update management. Yes this app is great but it is unacceptable to have to update the app nearly every time you want to use it. It’s a lazy approach to software dev to just release at will. You need to consider the user experience and the impact on the consumer. This earns a 1 star review for even considering that this release cycle is acceptable.

    Constant poor updates. Tired of having to update the app when I want to place an order. Too many forced updates, my information is lost, my points are lost, wants me to create new accounts with Apple ID. Too invasive, too complicated, and with prices being raised why even go to McDonald’s.

    Zero stars. Terrible app. Slow, clunky, takes way too long to load, even with excellent WiFi. I was at McDonalds trying to load the app and it kept crashing lol. 0/10, do not recommend. Deleted my account, not going back.

    Poor service and very glitchy. The app doesn’t allow you to use a reward code you have earned and a deal at the same time. Also you can’t use gift cards? What is the point of the reward points then? Also it is very glitchy and will take minutes to load, but won’t fully work unless you’re by the McDonald’s. The employees are usually awesome but this app is pretty bad.

    The worst app!. This app is so laggy. Every week they have a new promotion that makes it to where you can barely even open the app. I love waiting five minutes to see a promotion. I’m not gonna use. I have a brand new iPhone. It’s not only me that has this problem. It’s everybody. How are you gonna be a multi billion dollar corporation and you can’t even get an app to run. For this app has been laggy and sucks. They care more about shoving promotions down your throat. About having an app that can actually run. Not to mention the fact that I ask your location 30 times before you’re done ordering because they used to not ask at all you’d order your food to a completely random McDonald’s. The whole app design team needs to be fired.

    Downgraded. Tried using a coupon and app lost it. Try to use it again and it says already redeemed? Wait three minutes? Annoying in a drive thru but ok. Finally try using again and says I can’t add two to one order? What’s going on?

    No option. It is ridiculous that you cannot request a refund when you don’t get the items you ordered. I could not even pull up my receipt from the order. I go there and spend $200-300 buying food for my company and I won’t anymore. Just ridiculous.

    Have Developers Actually Used this App?. It’s blatantly clear that few people who designed this app have actually used it. Incredibly painful user experience. Mapping is insane. Have just not completed purchase on multiple occasions due to app errors, and patronized other restaurant as a result.
