   Late delivery. Order took an hour longer than the expected 25 minute delivery time. The restaurant ordered from called asking me when I would pick up my food right before they were about to close. I explained to them I ordered it for delivery and it was suppose to arrive a while ago. They said they would sent out my food but by the time it got here it the find was cold and stale. Contacted customer support for a refund but all they offered was a $15 credit for my next order with them. I declined and let them know to keep it as I wouldn’t be using the service again. Customer service was very fast but not worth paying a delivery that takes 3-4 times as long as they advertise when you order.

   No Support. I was charged a delivery fee and my food was not delivered. When I reach out for support I was not given any and was disconnected.

   Would avoid. App has no functionality to add an order if you’ve already placed it. And they are rejecting account deletion requests if you’ve don’t reside in a couple of pre-selected states.

   Order delivery and non existent customer service. We placed a dinner order for delivery. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive. Customer service was useless. We will make a point to avoid restaurants that use Chow Now.

   Mr. White. Fix your app. It only works 40% of the time when trying to place an order. Won’t let you order to deliver to your home address, while you’re ordering out of city boundaries. Fix this!!!!

   WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don’t use ChowNow. They lie about delivery time and “preparation window.” They gaslight you saying you are wrong when they literally can’t even show me any sort of proof on their end. Will never support them again and I advise anyone considering to, think twice.

   ChowNow is a Scam. First time ever writing a review. I ordered food from a restaurant that has take out orders handled by ChowNow. I placed an order and it was never delivered. The ChowNow app said the driver cancelled the order, but provided no reason why. The restaurant said the order was picked up, but it was never delivered. Worst of all, when I contacted customer service for ChowNow they refused to issue a refund and instead offered a $25 credit on a $160 order. Complete scam. I’d avoid this service at all costs.

    Horrible. Used this for one restaurant that I loved that wasn’t on doordash, spent a good amount of money for me and work, for the order to be about 2 hours later and the order disappearing from my app. Then I was told by support to request a refund May 23rd, never received refund and was told after contacting about not receiving the refund that was only getting back $5 out of my full order due to a “refund policy” that they apparently won’t tell you about when they suggest a refund and tell you to proceed with it 🤣 I’ll stick to doordash

    Poorly Designed App, high fee. App contains multiple bugs that no one seems to care about. The payment system is horrible and does not work most of the time if you choose Apple Pay. Strangely, the app stores the same delivery address multiple times in settings. Then, of course, there’s the app fee which is too high for what this app does. Fortunately, I can order directly from the restaurants this app is affiliated with (the ultimate in “saving the restaurant money”).

    No refund on wrong deliveries…. Ordered through this app several times before with no problems, but tonight the delivery driver got my address wrong, despite nochanges to my address. Customer service would not refund my $50 including tip order - claiming I had an incomplete/incorrect address.

    passed off fees as ”savings”. the vocabulary found within this app is predatory. trying to make you feel good about paying more fees because it “saves the store money” as if that’s anything a consumer should be concerned about. pure waste of money, inaccurate time and information about stores, etc.

    Terrible App. Ridiculous with the overcharging for delivery and uses regular Uber Eats non priority so your food takes over an hour to get to you.

    Payment setup is screwy. There is no "pay" button on the screen right now. You have to double-click a side button on your phone. This new version also crams Apple Pay down your throat and makes it tough to use a normal credit card. Big fail.

    Delivery fees are worse than DoorDash and Grubhub. I work 0.5 miles away from a restaurant that I like, but this app actually charges $8 delivery for a meal that was only $15. I’d just get the food myself but I only get 30 minute lunch breaks. Never ordering again unless this is fixed.

    Trash. The app itself is okay but if I could do not do not order food from them the drivers takes food from restaurants and all they want to do is give you a refund not good enough especially when you got a family to feed no accountability none for their drivers stealing

    Never has worked. This app errors out constantly, I always lose my order number because after I place an order if I don’t keep the app open it disappears and won’t load. Even when I click on the link in my text message to my order it errors out. I have to message help every single time. I want to support local but this is terrible.

    Horrible service getting order wrong. Had Uber deliver wrong address 2x must be an issue in their end stupid customer service just drive to the place don’t be lazy like me!!

    It’s a scam. Do not use this app or service. They took my order and payment and provided me with a receipt. My order never arrived, the restaurant confirmed they never received my order. There was no email or anything to tell me that an error occurred. Customer service was okay but no amount of customer service makes up for missing out on lunch during a long day of work. I will never trust an order that is placed through this app.

    Horrible Refund Policies. I placed an order that never arrived and these people refused to refund me because my address “was not accurate enough,” when the address I gave is by far the most accurate thing I can use to direct drivers. Robbed me of 60 dollars and topped it all off with a pathetic 15 dollar promo code. Do not be fooled by the overall high rating, check recents and see how many people they are scamming with this stuff. Absolute scum, do not use in any circumstance.

    Literally stole my money. The app just allowed me to place an order for a restaurant that wasn’t even open I tried to cancel to get my money back and I have to call the restaurant HOW CAN I DO THAT IF THEY’RE CLOSED WHY ARE YOU TAKING ORDERS FOR PLACES THAT AREN’T EVEN OPEN

    Buyer Beware. This app is hot garbage. Not useful for many reasons. For starters, it doesn’t actually help me find any restaurants near me. I can’t search for items. I have no photos to view , nothing to verify what exactly it is that I’m ordering. This app is bad.

    In NYC the delivery times change - be careful!. Delivery times changed by over 30 minutes between when starting the order and once order was confirmed and paid. They have no control and offered no refund. Their model does not work in NYC
