   Going downhill. Selections are too repetitive and are constantly sold out. I had 3 orders in a row where an item was removed so my order was short. I get a credit but it is still inconvenient. I am looking for another meal service.

   Unreliable delivery makes the subscription unusable. We’ve used Sunbasket for a while and like the meals themselves, but delivery reliability has become a major issue. About half of our last 10 deliveries have arrived a day late or not arrived at all. We’ve contacted customer service multiple times, but nothing has improved. For a weekly meal subscription, dependable delivery is essential — and right now, that’s not happening. Unfortunately, this makes the service difficult to justify despite otherwise good food.

   Bad customer service. I paused my subscription and was surprised when I was charged for a weekly delivery. I contacted customer service and they told me that because I had logged into my account to update my address after setting the pause, my deliveries resumed. I don’t know how I was supposed to expect that. They refused to refund the delivery. There’s lots of meal delivery options — pick one with better customer service.

   I give one star every time an app asks for feedback. The corporate obsession with feedback surveys for every minor interaction needs to die. It only serves to artificially pad feedback ratings so that executives can increase their compensation without implementing any real change.

   Scam buyers beware. I’m trying to access my account via the app and also the website it keeps force closing either way before I can change my new preference options which is leading me to believe that this is another money grab scam, especially since I no longer see the advertisements over social media.

   the app just doesn’t work. i’m excited to use the meal plan service however the app won’t even open, it asks you to turn on notifications and no matter what you chose, the app instantly crashes

    Cancelling made difficult. If I want to unsubscribe to an email list, its easy. We all know why… it’s the right thing to do. So why does Sunbasket make it confusing / difficult to cancel? Account Settings > Subscription .. and there’s NOT a cancel my subscription button. Unethical, frankly

    Meal kit Very poorly packed. 2 times out of 3 ingredients have spilled out, creating wastage and mess. Package arrives at end of day, condensation inside box makes everything soggy. What am I paying for? For this price point, please do better. I requested customer service contact and never got it.

    BUYER BEWARE. I received my first order from Sunbasket yesterday and everything in the basket was past its Best Buy date. Their response to that was “ the food won’t hurt. The quality of the food will just be slightly degraded or won’t have the nutrients that it’s supposed to have.” They then proceeded to tell me that the weeks worth of food that I bought should be consumed in the next five days so it won’t even last a full week until the next order. What a garbage company.

    App no good. The app has not worked for several months. Deleting and downloading again did not help. I am unable to make meal selections on the app. The menu does not load/ work. I have to use the website. Aside from that the deliveries and the food have been good. I really wish they would fix the app.

    Buggy. There’s an ongoing bug in the software or server where if you choose a vegetarian protein on an upcoming order weeks out it will default back to the meat option closer to delivery. I’ve documented this issue, but costumer service is dismissive. It’s been an issue for roughly 8 months and has yet to be fixed.

    App broken (white screen). Haven’t been able to update my meal preferences in weeks, the app is just a busted white screen where meal selection is. Other parts of the app work but not the most critical part of selecting meals.

    Your App doesn’t work. Hasn’t worked properly for months. Cannot get my recipes and have had orders placed that I didn’t want because I could not see what was being sent. So I have skipped every week since and have not ordered.

    Wanted to resume my subscription, but app is unusable. This review is solely regarding the sunbasket app, not my experience with the service. After some major issues I had with my Factor meal subscription, I decided to resume my sunbasket subscription after a year paused. Unfortunately that will not be possible as the app will not load past a blank white screen and overheats my phone before crashing

    Failure to stop shipments that had skipped. Bad customer service would not offer coupon or refund for there mistake. We are on restricted diet and don’t want them choosing and debit my cc did it anyway and wouldn’t make it right. Food is okay but customer service is horrible. If you use setup Ala Carte so they don’t choose your meals and mess up the skip meals app. They lost a good customer due to attitude

    For app only. Not sure what they broke but since last update app flat out doesn’t work. Tried reinstalling and everything. Food is great. This is for app only. Literally unusable, white screen, haven’t been able to place an order in a month.

    Website is awful!. If you do not use the app and try to use the website on Safari, good luck and bring your patience. My recommendation is only use the app and use the website in Chrome. Even in Chrome it is temperamental! Enjoyed our first basket but may cancel if the issues with getting into the app continue.

    Terrible updates and changes to the app. The new changes to the app are terrible. It makes it so much less user friendly to edit what is automatically chosen for you. You should still be allowed to delete meals without them being re-added to your basket automatically just because you’re below the order minimum - if I’m still in the process of trying to change the meals, don’t keep adding back what I deleted. Sunbasket should just let people not save a basket below minimum which is how the app used to work. Don’t keep adding meals automatically to my basket when I’m just trying to edit and change and add what I want.

    Can’t edit basket within app. Can no longer edit my basket within the app. I can add meals, but not take them away. Now I have to go to the website to edit my basket.

    Confusing to Use. The app layout is confusing to manage orders and deadlines and pick meals. Deliveries are at the mercy of FedEx and both companies say the other is responsible and the app does not give notifications.
