   Not sure what happened…. Been using this app for months and loved it. This week it started acting weird. It’s had me locked out of my phone for over 24 hours. Not sure what to do. NFC tags won’t stop it. Hitting the stop button doesn’t work.

   So sad this didn’t work. I really wanted to love this app because it has everything I’m looking for. Unfortunately, the QR code scanner doesn’t work. I was trying to test the QR code unlocking before I started studying, and I kept getting “Error: The operation couldn’t be completed. (CodeScanner.ScanError error 3.)” when I try to unlock. I had to use my Emergencies to get it to unlock each time.

   Bugs in the app. This app is great for focusing on tasks. But when I scan my QR code to exit focus mode, it says that it’s not the correct QR code. This is untrue because it is the one that I generated in the app. You only get so many emergency stops before it won’t let you use anymore and I’m at the point. This needs to be addressed.

   Unable to block out time. I am unable to block out a time slot using this app so I have not been able to use it. Every time I try to select a PM start time, like 10 PM, and an AM end time, like 5 AM, the app does not allow me to select AM. The button reverts to PM. That is too bad because the alternatives to this app all seem to be invasive. Please fix this feature.

   Scheduling doesn’t work. Since there is no option to automatically start the app, and it must be done manually (either by going into the app or by scanning or using an nfc) the “schedule” is more a goal or suggestion to yourself. Unfortunately that means it won’t work because you have to tell yourself to go in an block things before you start scrolling.

   Barcode error. After setting a barcode as my way to unlock, it did NOT recognize that barcode until i’d scanned it like 20 times. It was the correct one, I had JUST set it), and I thought my phone was permanently stuck in the limited mode. Glad it eventually worked, but the inconsistency was alarming. Edit: once again it is stuck and the set barcode is not working. App support is also not easy. The site it sends you to is not easy to use

   Great, with problems. I had hoped this would be a great app. Setting it up was easy and I got the first session going fairly quick however, the settings turned off in their own and all my apps were available again without me scanning the QR code or me doing anything. Not sure why that happens, but it's a deal breaker on an app like this

   Great concept, can't get it to work. Love the concept, but I can't get it past the setup screen. It endlessly asks me to allow screentime access. I allow it, and then nothing happens. Stays stuck. Their support page refers you to github, majority of app users aren't tech saavy enough to git on github. Need a support email as well

    Not blocking apps I asked it to block. Idk if I’m doing something wrong, but the app will not block Snapchat for some reason, and I try to fix it, and then other apps I blocked are unblocked or vice-versa. I was really hoping for this to work. Unless someone can walk me through what I’m doing wrong… I will be looking for alternatives for this kind of app.

    good app but domains don’t work. good app to have i’m enjoying it but i have to give a 3 stars because even when i allow domains it still blocks them and its annoying because i cant even search anything up without having to unlock the qr code and its a hassle. also 3 stars because there’s no customer support email or anything?? not able to find how to contact ab this issue so im leaving it here

    Fantastic, except for one weird loophole (a bug maybe). This allows you, while in an active profile, to change how often your emergency unblocks reset. That’s got to be a bug. Can someone investigate?

    Randomly allows Apps. Regardless of the settings, it seems to always allow random apps like Facebook, etc. Pretty useless.

    2.0 made it slightly worse. So happy this app exists. A little bummed with 2.0 as it adds extra taps to block and unblock. Extra taps to unblock are arguably good, but extra taps to block are mildly annoying. Still a great app overall.

    Really great, with one bug. Foqos is incredibly useful and helps me reclaim my time at work and at home. My only issue is that when a profile is running and I am using an alternate lock screen activated by a focus mode, a number of the apps’ icons disappear and are replaced with a graph/target icon which doesn’t allow you to open the app. Other than this, Foqos is very useful and highly recommended.

    I enjoy it, improvements to be made. Its excellent that this serves as a free open source option for people to create a distraction free phone experience. However, I’ve had issues with integration, some of my app icons have disappeared and im still getting messages despite toggling messages to be blocked. Other than that it has worked great.

    Love the app but seeing some glitches. I love this app. I have been on the hunt to find a free solution to my doomscrolling for the longest and ironically found about this while doomscrolling on Instagram. It’s easy to use, straightforward and you can set multiple schedules. I did tumble across a bug though. Sometimes even if the schedule is active, the apps do not get locked automatically at the scheduled time and I am not sure why that happens. I have to scan the QR code to start the lock timer which is a bit annoying as I keep the printed QR code in my car. Shouldn’t it automatically lock the selected apps at the set time?Other than this bug I think it’s great!

    Great but want a few more options. I can’t believe this app is free and people are paying so much for the Brick. This app has helped me cut back on my doom scrolling and cut down my overall screen time considerably. That said, I’d love it if I could have a little more flexibility when setting a foqos. I love that the breaks are capped at 15 min, but only one break is allowed per session - I wish that I could either schedule breaks (eg, allowed to look at social media during these specified times, still only 15 min a pop) or have up to a certain amount of breaks in a day. This would still help me accomplish my goals but I could just have one long session rather than having to constantly reset it. Other than that, I absolutely love this app and am so grateful for it!!

    Overall helpful, but needs a timer option to re-lock. This app is overall helpful, but needs a timer option to re-lock after unlocking. It’s kinda annoying to have to remember to scan the tag again to lock everything back up when my goal is to lower my time spent on social media.

    This app is what’s getting ride of my phone addiction!. I have been using this app for the past week and it is a LIFE CHANGER!! I really like that the devs are planning on keeping this free for everyone, thank you thank you! I had to dock one star because anytime I turn any mode on, it replaces what my Messages app looks like for some reason? It makes the app look like the blank screen for an app, when it’s white and has the lines. When I click on it nothing happens, I end up having to search for it in the App Library. I always allow my messages app no matter what kind of mode it is, so I’m not sure why this is happening. Other than that I have no complaints! Great job!

    Amazing but missing one thing. I really love this app, and it's been so helpful for me and everyone I’ve recommended it to. However, when I downloaded it, I thought there was a way to have an allotted amount of time on certain apps, and that it would require an nfc or qr after I spent a certain amount of time on those apps. Does that exist already, or can it be added as a new feature?

    Great but would like more scheduling options. Title says it all. This is a GREAT app to keep you off your phone, just wish I had more scheduling options. Like if I could block off 8 am - 5 pm AND 9 pm - 12 am

    One Issue. The app works great and as advertised. However, one small thing I noticed is that when you have multiple profiles and at least one is active, you can’t scroll between them to edit or access the other ones (aside from the one that's currently showing). Overall, love the app! It’s helped me stay off my phone really well.

    Huge potential. Huge feature would be the ability to start a profile/lock apps while away from NFC tag but allow you to unlock when you get back to nfc tag. This would be huge if you forget to lock the apps before leaving for work while you have a designated nfc tag at home and none at work to prevent distractions.
