   Money hungry. You can’t use this app unless you pay a ridiculous subscription fee. The free trial is too short. Can’t you just make a free version? So dumb. “Bad reviews hurt our small team” ok manipulative!! Money hungry companies hurt the consumer 😙

   scam lowkey. haven’t even used it because of the paywall, but i can guarantee that it’s a scam. i can literally just set a time limit in the settings app and it will perform the exact same function. this would be a great app, if only it wasn’t behind a completely unnecessary paywall.

   Immediate subscription sign up only. I know I need something like this but I’m done with subscriptions especially before I’m even allowed to look at the app. You count on people getting distracted to make sure you get a yearly fee even if they didn’t get to really try it. That’s today’s standard but it sucks.

   They want your money don’t waste your time.. i hate apps that are free to download, make you put in your information, waste your time, and then say “for the cheap price of 10$ per month (if you pay that much remember it adds up quick), you can use the service you wasted your time plugging your information into.” Doesn’t seem predatory at all. 😀

   Had for Months...Paywalled Now. I used this app to block Instagram for months. Deleted it for a bit and redownloaded it. When I went to go on it forces you to put in a credit card with a "3 day trial". Wow so generous a whole 3 days. It's over $40 a year which I don't even need because the blocking two apps for free was fine for me. What's really crummy is that if you click the X to decline the offer it just takes you to another paywall. So disappointed because I used to love this app. I think forcing trials is a shady thing to do. I'm very disappointed because I used to love this app. It makes you put in a code every time you wanna unlock which really did reduce my time. I'll change my review if they get rid of the paywall start that did not exist when I first got the app.

    Just another screen time app, doesn’t help you use social media wisely, lets you scroll for hours. The app makes it sounds like it will help you to NOT SCROLL but instead, it’s another screen time app that turns your screen off after a while, which I don’t need. I just want an app checks in with me to make sure I’m not scrolling every 1-5 mins. Sometimes I do need to use apps for 30-60mins as I have a business that I need to advertise for. 30-60 mins is way too much time all at once, as it doesn’t remind you in 1-5 mins intervals while you’re using the app. I wrote this review and instead of offering support, they emailed me defending the app and totally disregarded my concern while asking me to raise my review. Leaving 2 stars was generous, so now I’m changing it to 1 star based on the poor costumer service. ClearSpace is quite a bit better, but the setup is a little annoying and you do have to pay. I give ClearSpace 5 stars, as I am considering paying them to use the app now that everything has been set up and the free trial was amazingly helpful. If No Scroll did the same thing as ClearSpace but with their original setup process and keeping it free, it could also be a really good app. If they keep the app the same, it should be called something else that makes it clear that it’s just for addicts who have apps for entertainment but want to be treated like a child who needs their devices taken away after a timer goes off. Then again it doesn’t even solve the problem for those people because they can just go to another app once the one they were using is locked. Adults that are like me just need something that helps them use their apps with intention, and make sure you don’t get distracted by anything that requires scrolling. This app isn’t no scroll, this app is “scroll for 5-60 mins and then get locked out for 5 mins minimum” it doesn’t help you break the habit of scrolling at all.

    Doesn’t do what it says. I was really excited when I saw an ad for this app saying it can block reels and shorts in social media. I Immediately downloaded it but all this is just a screen time block. It blocks access to the entire app which I can literally do for free in the screen time setting on my phone. I wanted to still have access to the app but have the random distracting reels and shorts blocked. This doesn’t do that at all. There are very minimal options and setting to customize it. Canceled and uninstalled already. Waste of time. very misleading advertising.

    Locking unused apps. Latest version is now locking apps I haven’t even used. When time is up for one app and I try to open another one, it says it has been locked. I then try another unused app and it works fine. Too many glitches with these new updates.

    Tried to charge me?!. Thought it was a good app just to remind you to be mindful of how long you wanna spend on a app then it tried to charge me like 5 bucks to “unlock my app” you don’t tell me what I can and can’t do on MY PHONE and I’m not paying you to do anything on MY PHONE.

    Strong blocking, but missing real accountability. This app does a good job enforcing Screen Time limits, but it falls short as an accountability tool. Like most Screen Time apps, it relies on three mechanisms: • app time limits • unlocks / temporary access • scheduled blocks The problem is that following or breaking these rules isn’t meaningfully tracked. Users can: • repeatedly use unlocks • change limits or schedules after enforcement starts • revoke Screen Time permissions and re-enable later …without any persistent history or consequence inside the app. That makes it easy to undermine your own rules quietly, which defeats the purpose for serious users. What would make this a 5-star app: • an accountability history (unlock usage, schedule adherence, rule changes) • logging Screen Time permission revocations/restores • an integrity metric (did I keep my word or not) • brief, optional reflection prompts at key moments (before unlocks, after rule changes) • weekly summaries focused on accountability, not just usage minutes • a place to define and revisit why you’re limiting apps, so behavior change is internal, not just enforced Blocking alone changes behavior temporarily. Accountability, integrity tracking, and reflection change it long-term. If these additions were made, this would easily be a 5-star app.

    annoying pop up. I love no scroll, but upon reinstalling it, there is no way to x out of the free trial of no scroll premium. I just want to access the free version of the app but every time I try to x out the free trial screen it pops up again. If fixed I will update my review.

    Been using for a while, new issue. I have been using this app for a while, but am running into a new issue where schedules now appear to constantly be enforcing no use of an app even though the app clearly says it is outside of a scheduled period. Not sure why this started occurring but it is looking like the only way to use the apps is to uninstall no scroll until they fix this

    Very helpful. My screen time on TikTok and Instagram has decreased significantly! The concept works for sure. Just some small super experience things I’d change. Like when unlocking, having different time limits option would be nice. I have it set to 30min but sometimes I just want to check something and now I’ve wasted a whole 30 minutes 😭 or maybe that’s part of being intentional with my app limits?

    Best app, but one suggestion. This app has been the only one that effectively helps my screen time. I’ve tried so many, and it always either made me pay or didn’t work in a way that was practical. No Scroll is fantastic! However, I have one suggestion—blocking multiple apps makes the app not as effective. When I run out of time on one app, I can easily switch to another. Time limits should start and end across all blocked apps, so I can’t set a 30 minute timer for Instagram after my time runs out on Pinterest, for example. Thanks for this app, it’s great!

Just try to do something that will get you off that phone like idk anything!. And if your an adult then just do something else cause trust me there are so many different things that you can do in life other than just doomscrolling I mean sure you might think it’s what you love doing but you gotta understand that people spend over 7 hours a day on there phone and that is just draining so much time out of your life! And then you grown ups keep on walking around wondering what the hell your gonna do with your life and your giving yourselves to many damn options. And that’s gonna cause you to run out of time to do other stuff before it’s too late…

    Actually pretty good. I was skeptical but it actually does do what it sets out to do. It doesn’t stop you from going on the apps or from scrolling completely but it does make you take a step back and think on if you want to do that and for someone who rly wants to stop scrolling it does work very well. Even the 5 minute cool down is helpful cuz you eventually forget you wanted to scroll and are already doing something else.

    Cut my screen time in half!. I downloaded No Scroll because I used to doomscroll at night after a long day of work. This app helped solve my bad doomscrolling habit. It has different features that are effective at reducing my screen time. Definitely recommend downloading if you want to reclaim your time from social media!

    Favorite No Scrolling App!. Have been using this for months. Although I do not pay for the subscription, I have debated tbh. Overall, I love the timeout settings, difficulty of password to unlock, schedules, and overall experience. I’ve tried a lot of methods and different apps. But this one has constantly worked and prevented me from doom scrolling! I’ve read more, found better habits to increase, and overall happier. Thank you!

    The only app out there that prevents doom scrolling. If I could give this app 1million stars out of 10 I would I have tried lots of anti screen time apps but this is the only one I could find that actually prevents you from doom scrolling. All other apps stop you before you enter the app which is effectively useless. If you want to use your phone time to time (but not get stuck) I highly recommend. Also if you email with questions or suggestions the team is very responsive and super kind

    Helps the doom scroll problem if you use it right. I think no app will solve a doom scrolling problem entirely but this app definitely helps if you also put in the effort. It keeps you in the drivers seat while assisting you to stay on the road With this app you have to be pretty intentional when you want to use an app and for how long. It’s really nice when I want to check Instagram for a bit without getting trapped into a doom scroll. I can unlock it for 5 mins and when I get lured into the scroll, the app gets me back on track. It’s also nice to give myself a little longer when I know I have free time but still don’t want to fall into a doom scroll. I can time how long I want to be in an app. A feature that’s really great is when you have to type a long code if you want more time on an app after the block. Whenever I feel like I want to scroll more, the time it takes to put in the code gets me back to reality. Problems with other apps is it’s so easy to disable the screen block. You have to really want to scroll less for this app to be effective. It’s not just going to do it for you - no app will

    Great!. I loved this app! It was a great help for preventing doomscrolling, hovering i would find myself in the habit of resetting the timers and getting back on. It works a lot better than the time limit on apple. I only recently deleted it because i found a way to get rid of shorts on YouTube. (Just pause your history)
