I find it hard to believe that an app can be this bad in basic functionality of letting you limit distance (max) and the ability to disallow people who are already single parents

   I can't sign in. It doesn't accept my birthday, so I changed the birthday and it doesn't finish. Keeps saying an error occurred. Stupid. But that's good, it's the universe saying that my husband would never be on those stupid apps. I hate myself ughhhh

   Worst Customer Service. Around 1 year ago, I tried this app, but then changed my mind. I asked them to delete my account and information. A couple of days ago, I decided to try it again and went to sign up for a new account, only to find that my phone number is still attached to an account. This means they keep your information even if you ask them to delete it. I tried contacting them about it. All of their responses were as if they didn’t read the email sent to them. With no solution, they closed the matter and said they won't respond anymore. So beware, THEY KEEP YOUR INFO EVEN IF YOU ASK THEM TO DELETE IT.

   Avoid this app.. Inability to change location or search outside your own area. You see the same people over and over and over. Extreme limitations on search filters (they only allow 3 LOL!). Absurd bans on users who have not broken any rules, (absurdly common with dating apps these days). You treat me poorly, you get a bad review.

   Invalid birthday. I was singing up using my Apple ID and when I went to put in my birthday it said invalid and yes I am 18 born 06/13/2008

   Wrongfully banned. A couple days ago I put together a profile, got verified and all that. About 30 minutes later I found that I was logged out and thought that maybe the app had glitched and logged me out which understandably happens. Instead it turns out that I was wrongfully banned. I tried making a couple of appeals and they refuse to lift the ban. They banned me for ALLEGEDLY violating their Terms and Conditions or Community Guidelines. I have asked repeatedly for them to specify which of these I ALLEGEDLY violated because I wish to avoid the making the same mistake in the future and they refuse to do so. So Upward, how many of your subscribers are going to wrongfully ban without providing evidence that support your claims? So much for being a Christian based dating site!!!!

   Total waste of money – just an ego boost app. This app is terrible. I bought a 6-month premium subscription expecting a solid experience, but it feels like a complete curse. I’ve had three different instances where a girl initiates the conversation, messages me first, and agrees to make plans. But the exact second you try to lock in concrete plans to meet up, they pull a total vanishing act, flake, and unmatch out of nowhere. People are only using this app for quick validation and an ego boost, not real connections. Do not waste your money on premium here; the user base is not serious at all.

    Match group. Do not trust any app from match group. Just read the reviews about how dishonest and manipulative they are. Good luck with your endless swiping. I have absolutely o issues with a woman in real life. Use an app by the match group and you think something must be wrong with you because you rarely get a match that’s not a fake account.

    Useless. Be prepared to never see any profiles that like yours. I’ll constantly see profiles from people hundreds of miles away, but when I bought the “Elite” membership for a month, I found that most of the women that liked me were in my area. They’re specifically hiding people that want to match with you in your area so that you will pay them. They will never show you these profiles otherwise.

    Too Strict. From the moment I had downloaded the app it was so strict. They gave me a violation less than a half hour in to making my account and didn't tell me what it was for or why and that I had one more time before I they would permanently remove my account. They gave me a snippy response back to me asking a question and I had deleted my account. Plus none of the men respond to you and I only had three matching the entire time I was on the app.

    Feels like a bait and switch scam. It shows me that I have 50 hidden likes and I am enticed to pay for a membership. Then when I pay for a membership at LEAST half of the people are way outside my dating range both in age and distance. Why show me a like from someone 350 miles away? I feel like this is a shady business practice especially for an app claiming to be a Christian one.

    Worthless. Complete waste of time and money. After months of putting in effort the only people that ever respond only interact a time or two and put in no effort at all and for sure aren’t interested in actually meeting up in real life. Totally giving up on dating and marriage after this. Thought maybe a Christian/ serious relationship focused app like this would be better than the run of the mill dating apps I tried before with mixed success but it’s an even worse experience. I do not recommend this app at all!!

    Worst dating app I’ve used. I have used a lot of dating apps. This app has been so glitchy. On top of that, I went to go cancel my subscription and the app won’t allow me to do so. I’ve been on the phone with several customer service reps. No dating app should be this difficult. Also, I was being matched with guys in their 40s and 50s and I am in my 20s. I had set it to a certain age group but I guess that doesn’t work.

    I don’t like it. So there’s a couple of things that I don’t like about the app. It offers three subscription packages however the most affordable package doesn’t doesn’t really include the features that would make me want to open the app and use it consistently. Another thing that bothers me is that they would like you to pay for the subscription in full upfront instead of offering a true monthly payment option like it initially suggested. maybe that’s OK with some people but I am uncomfortable paying $119 upfront without knowing whether the app actually works for me. I’d much rather pay $20 a month to try it out and have the option to cancel if it doesn’t meet my expectations.

    Useless. I live in a city with 1 million people, paid for platinum, I’m a decent looking guy with a great job, cute dog and am vocal about attending/serving with my church. I’ve been on it for 6 months off and on. Upward is just another trap made by Match Group who owns tinder and every other dating platform. Shame on this disgusting company.
