   Sound is broken. Or just doesn’t exist? I could see no options to adjust ambient sound. What’s the point if a video of you have to experience it as a dead person. At least they could add ambient tracks and positional audio for vehicles/bikes passing by.

   Crashes EVERY Time. Updating my review from February 2026. I am using an iPad 5th Gen for my Indoor Cycling. Used it for years with Zwift and also for more than a year with Rouvy without problems. But since earlier this year the App crashes every time we use it. I had high hopes when there was a new version, but there is no improvement. Last week it crashed 3 times in my 1 hour ride. Sometimes it crashes even before starting pedaling. We are paying $30 for two accounts and it is super annoying. I should get my money back or a credit. Otherwise I am going to switch to another solution. Previously I was a very happy user, now very annoyed.

   BUYER BEWARE- Rouvy will immediately suspend your subscription and cheat you out of remaining time.. Suspended my subscription because I was going to be traveling for a month. Had 3-weeks left on my paid monthly subscription. I suspended my account a few days before I left for my trip, and Rouvy immediately suspended my account and cheated me out of 3 weeks of pre-paid service. My expectation is that if I pre-pay for a monthly service, Rouvy honors my payment until the end of the billing term. Really sleazy business practice. Full stop. I should not have to waste both my time and Rouvy's customer service time trying to receive services I pre-paid for. I was loyal long term customer on monthly subscription.

   Difficult to cancel. You can’t even cancel on the app and they charge you even if you do cancel or try to switch to monthly billing

   Crashes constantly. Worked fine Jan and Feb. Since Mar 15, only 1 ride out of 4 finished without crashing. One ride crashed 8 times, including 3 times at the very end. Another crashed 3/4 of the way through. The latest was 2 crashes with 300 meters left in a 34.5 km ride. The best is that you get no credit for the ride within the Rouvy system. Going to stick to flat routes—like a spin class. Still waiting for some reasonable response other than “sorry you’re having problems, we know it’s frustrating.”

   App quit working on phone. It was a little difficult at first to get app to work on my IPhone pro 15. Then after a couple rides it was a challenge to sign in again. Today after about 3 days of not riding I was unable to sign in at all. Tried to see if there was a help phone number and there wasn’t. Tried resetting password and few other options finally found it too frustrating. I cancelled my subscription today. When it worked I really enjoyed it. In trying fix the problem by searching online I saw this was a common problem with Rouvy. If you can sign in then I think it is great.

   Wasn’t able to figure it out. I created an account and updated the profile, but all the app says is to “Visit the Rouvy homepage to complete my profile “, which I have done. When I click to close the dialog box, it logs me out. I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do. I was expecting to be able to connect the trainer and sensors so I could do a free ride to make sure everything works, but I don’t see a way to start the free trial they advertise. It’s back to Zwift for me.

    Unusable. App crashes constantly. When it does work, it takes 10-15 minutes to get to my ride, and even then, the ride will randomly freeze multiple times throughout. After the most recent update, the app simply doesn't open at all. The realistic routes are pretty to look at when they work, but my patience has run out. Looking forward to finding an app that works!

    The Subscription Blood Oath. A word of advice for future users: Prepare for an epic saga of bureaucratic warfare. Screenshot (with timestamps) everything and treat every interaction like you're negotiating a peace treaty with a hostile foreign power. The customer service team operates on the principle that you are guilty until proven innocent, and their interrogation tactics are top-notch. Apparently, a subscription here is less a service and more a blood oath. I suppose a profit-driven company can't be bothered with things like customer satisfaction when there's an inquisition to be held.

    Poorly designed for iPad. App is unstable, signing in works 3 times out of 10. Everything is SOOO Slow to load. I don’t want to use up 30 minutes of my ride time clicking the log in button, only to have it disappear after typing out my full email. Yelp never asks me to log in. eBay never asks me to log in. Amazon never asks me to log in. And when it does remember me, it takes about 12 clicks to get to a ride. Each with their own little loading bar. I’ll be cancelling today.

    Dumb app. Made very sloppy. iOS app doesn’t support vertical use, only horizontal. Doesn’t register account changes without full app shut down. Very frustrating simple fixes. Cray that the whole app has to be horizontal when going through settings.

    Rouvy is out to steal your money. Even if you cancel Your subscription on the day of they will charge you for the year without a refund. They do not send a reminder like other companies. Bad business!

    Horrible service. May be great if you like the platform but do not purchase unless your willing to go through 500 complicated steps just to cancel your free trial subscription. Also, don’t expect a refund even though it’s clear you used the app one time during free trial and didn’t like it.

    Difficult to pair. 2 days ago, it wouldn’t pair with my Appletv, so I rode with the app on my iPhone. Today… it wouldn’t pair with my phone, but on my Appletv. It seems to have a lot of bugs.

    garbage. Attempted to just sign up and try it out but no luck. Can’t sign up in the app so you have to go to the website then back to the app but they apparently don’t talk to each other. Already paid for subscription but it keeps asking me to sign up. I’m giving up. This is just lousy software.

    Be careful. They make it very hard to cancel. I tried the app last week and it didn’t work and I deleted it from my phone Then had surgery Monday so I was out of it. This Saturday j get a notice saying they took a years worth of subscription from me. So far it’s been very hard to get my money back.

    Not a “breeze” to get started. Connecting apps to bike is easy but thereafter no clear direction what to do next. Videos and chat directions require one to leave that screen to find the right screen to apply the directions forcing you to get back to the video and scroll or a new chat to find the directions. Not worth it.

    Apple TV is awful. Trying to use a non 1st gen Apple TV remote makes this the most frustrating app I have ever used. The new remote has been out for for almost 4 years. Why can’t I use click only in this app?

    Not Intuitive. I deleted the app and stopped free trial. Its like an 80’s video game and not as intuitive. Just not user friendly on apple TV. And canceling the subscription was like 12 steps of high pressure. Red flag for Me!

    Signed out for no reason. Honestly, if ROUVY keeps signing me out for no discernible reasons I am going to cancel. This has been going on for two years. I am on the same iPad I use every time there hasn’t been any updates- they just make us sign back in for no reason whatsoever. Not just me but my wife also. Seriously, not sure what they are afraid of but it has become such a nuisance that I would recommend staying away

    Poor support and waste of time for any serious athlete. I’ve had a Rouvy subscription for a year now. It renewed this month, but the app update caused my profile to be wiped out. I can’t log in to see my trainer, rider history or choose favorite courses. Support has not responded after two days from original email. It’s been a huge time sync, lost training time, changing workout method, and causing me to be late to work. Therefore I’m going to bail on Rouvy, go back to a reliable app.

    janky and broken funnels . BAD. guys please use your app. i purchased a wattbike, i am evaluating which app to use, but the signup funnel is totally broken, how? i am stuck at trying to signup and getting “my experience prepare”. app feels janky but the worse part is that it doesn’t work. also not using a potato phone but an iphone 15 pro. this just doesn’t inspire confidence. also i don’t know how to use my coupon. not clear. probably lost me. oh well

    No personalization option. If you a person of color who cycles, there are no options for picking your skin tone. I’ll stick with Zwift until this is corrected. I was hoping for an option, but it unacceptable not to have options to pick from.

    Bad UI, bad bustomer service.. Received a 2 month free trial from a trainer purchase. The code didn’t work and they charged me a month anyway. ROUVY will not honor the 2 month trial or give a refund. Customer service seems to be outside of US so response times are very slow and not helpful.

    LOL. Guys, common! It’s impossible to register / test your app. I see “visit website to finish setup” and that is it. Fix registration process, right now your app is useless.
