   Declining quality. I’ve had this app for several years and it keeps getting worse. Mandatory ads that are sometimes impossible to close will pop up before you can access any information. Trying to scroll through your birthday listings can mean having to watch an ad. The intrusion of ads has ruined this app. Now looking for replacement for this app.

   An app that was once great, is now full of ads the moment you open it.. Dear hip developers, you NEED to tone down the ads, the moment I open up the app EVERYTIME is a 30 second ad and even when you finish it, I move a little bit throughout the app and BOOM, ANOTHER AD. I’m about to move everything I built in this app to another app. Either change or I’m leaving. A 5 out of 5 star app is now a 1 out of 5 star app. Change how aggressive ads are or bye bye.

   They limited the app. I was really looking forward to enjoying this app but the free version is limited to 5 birthdays which is ridiculous. Then it’s hidden behind a subscription.

   So I have to pay now???. I’ve used this app for over 4 years with NO PROBLEM! All of a sudden I start experiencing the app force closing whenever I try and open it. I HAD to deleted it and re downloaded just to find that all my data is gone, but there’s also a limit of up 5 birthdays that I can add on my account and if I want more I have to pay a subscription! 😡 This is very upsetting, this was my favorite app to use and I even recommended it to so many people because it was free to use … So disappointing

   It’s dumb. Only lets you add like 3 birthdays. It’s not free. You have to pay to keep adding. It’s so dumb.

   Pay for app and then pay more for ad free?. Used to be a great app and then suddenly they want MORE money to get rid of ads. Bummer.

   Stopped working. I have been keeping track of all my friends’ birthdays on this app for many years. Never had a problem. It worked beautifully. All of a sudden everything I have relied on is missing. All my important dates are gone. I am devastated. How do I get them back?

   App’s notifications always has issues. I have had this app for a few years and very disappointed as the notifications usually do not work, and I always have the latest iPhone Pro, so not sure if they are not updating the software for Apple iPhones. But the main purpose of this app is to get notifications.

    Used to be good. Used this app for years and loved it. Now it won’t let you add new people without upgrading. Some of us have more than five friends whose birthdays we’d like to remember.

    R.I.P. Hip.. App is broken. It used to work fine. Now it won’t let me add any more friends birthdays. It says I need to upgrade to a paid version when I try to to add more. Sigh. Another one bites the dust I guess. It’s also suggesting I pay in order to export them so I can move to an app that works. So I will have to manually add 29 friends birthdays to another app that actually works. Thanks a lot HIP. Maybe should rename your app RIP.

    Pay to have?!. I hope you don’t have more than 4 people in your life! Because if you do then you’ll have to pay to remember their birthdays! I have severe ADD and can’t remember anything for the life of me and this app could’ve been super helpful but because of their pay limit it makes it stupid.

    NO RESPONSE TO MY MESSAGES. I tried to contact customer service for several weeks, no response to my messages. So I paid for the application for life, but having changed my phone, it is no longer associated with my iCloud account (changed too). So I lost all my data. Unless customer service answers me today?

    Don’t be fooled. I was so excited to get this app and started to input birthdays but after 5 birthdays you need to upgrade and pay….Useless, so many free apps out there. Don’t waste your time!

    Notification Do Not Work. I downloaded this app specifically to notify me of upcoming birthdays. I have notifications enabled on my phone and the app still didn’t notify me of birthdays. I missed several people’s birthdays. Unless there’s another reason for use of this app, I wouldn’t rely on it for the reason I did.

    Not free, which would be fine if not for ridiculous pricing. Make no mistake this app is not free. You can add 5 events as a free user. Didn’t even get through my immediate family. The free tier is useless, but it’s a very clean app so I looked at upgrading. I thought a one time buy of 2-5 bucks would make sense for an app like this. It’s just a date tracker after all. Nope, it’s a subscription??? For an app like this?? Absolutely nuts.

    Crashing constantly. I’ve been a user and subscriber for a couple years now. It worked great and wonderful until latest update with iOS. Now it opens and immediately crashes. It’s not useable. I sent a message to the developers support with no response. Hopefully they get it fixed and I can revise my review.

    Loved this app until this week. The app was great until this week when it suddenly stopped sending my carefully entered reminders. The app says I need to turn on my notifications. Well, duh! I have never NOT had my notifications on since I got the app over a year ago. But this past month it stopped sending me reminders and thinks I don’t have my notifications on. I have missed several of my friend’s birthdays. Will be looking for another app.

    Worst app not recommending.. Worst app ever and worst customer service. I kept sending emails but i have not got any reply yet. I am a paid customer since i got my iphone. Recently my phone crashed and reached out their customer care but no one replied….
