   Used to be great. This app used to be an amazing email app now on an iPhone 13 running iOS 26.5 it is virtually unusable. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app over a dozen times and it’s still only loads about 1/3 of the time. And when it does load it takes 10 times longer than any other app out there

   Great app. That is so easy I can’t go back the Apple mail because I forgot how it works haha. That was before I got a $100 bill to get mail. I just couldn’t justify spending this much on getting email when I could do the same for free. It may not be as streamlined as Spark but the final result is the same.

   No reply all?. The latest version provides no way to reply all. Only reply or forward are provided. I certainly hope this is an oversight and not a feature. If a feature, I’ll be switching email apps.

   Too many AI features. Have been using Spark for many years and with all the new half-finished additional features that have been implemented the app became unusable and made me look elsewhere. The idea is good and it was the best email app available, but since they added all the features not needed in an email app like calendar and AI that does only partially work, the app became unusable. Also search is not working at all, so when looking for an email you never find it. Sorry to see that the best email app lost its appeal. Used to love it, but will now move on to something else.

   Super slow and buggy now. I love this app, but it is super slow and buggy now. Can’t select multiple emails at once. Takes long time to open an email. ‘Allow’ or ‘block’ options jumps from top of email to bottom of email and then the email gets stuck. Please fix it back to how it worked before.

   Too bloated of an app. It’s been breaking where I can’t scroll emails I open. To delete (when holding from inbox) dislike I can’t customize the order. I don’t want to have to scroll to find delete

    Translation features removed to force paid AI upgrades. Infuriating!. Why is the iOS text selection pop-up menu in Spark so incredibly limited compared to other apps? Essential pop up features like “Translate”and “Search Web” are completely missing. Because of this, I constantly have to manually copy text and jump into external translator apps instead of using the built-in iOS translation feature. The worst part? This is 100% intentional. I raised this exact issue back in 2023, and the developers actually fixed it and added the missing features back. But as soon as they introduced their paid "AI+" premium subscription, they stripped those basic features away again. It feels like pure greed—breaking basic iOS system functionality just to force users toward their paid AI features. Incredibly frustrating and a massive downgrade in usability. Do not recommend!

    Worst app. This app is incredibly frustrating and buggy. The lack of a basic multi-select feature to mark multiple messages as read makes inbox management a complete chore. Worse yet, the scrolling behavior is completely broken; simply scrolling up and down the message list triggers ghost taps, causing random emails to constantly pop open. This version is absolutely unbearable to use, and I am officially back on the hunt for a competent iOS and Android mail client.

    Not a good match with M365. Setup my M365 account on my iPad and it worked great, when to but when I did my iPhone it would only do IMAP, which is not supported in our account. No clue why this happened. Cancelled trial and deleted on both. Outlook for the win

    This app sucks. This app only worked for a month or so. I kept having to log in over and over again. Then it wanted me to verify my account but never sent the link . Now I just use my browser. Don’t waste your time or money

    Laughable. I love how this company says we are always here for you, and to email them any issues. I have been emailing them the same bugs that they refuse to fix for years now. And they will have you become their IT department and send logs or video or pictures. Absolutely ridiculous. Fix the bugs or get out of the app business.

    Was once a great tool. I’ve had spark as my primary email app for several years. I don’t know what has changed on the backend, but it now operates EXTREMELY SLOW when trying to pull up emails. If I try to search for emails using keywords/terms - it initially renders “no results”. I have to clear the search field and attempt the query multiple times before I receive results. The app constantly freezes or crashes. Overall just a headache. Currently looking into alternatives.

    This used to be my only mail client…. I finally took the plunge and deleted the app. Removed my account because I had enough. It was good when it started but it chipped away at everything it was known for behind a paywall. I’m good. I’ll move back to apple, which also sucks but for some reason, this disappointed me so much more. They asked what is behind a paywall. It’s BLOCK. Something so basic is basically blocked from us. The only workaround was going into the Apple Mail client and reporting Junk mail then going back to Spark to delete. That’s crazy.

    This app gone from A++ to C- in just few months. I have been using this app for few years now and started this year early the app has been struggling, the emails doesn’t load and crashed and tons and tons of issues with basic functionality of loading and pulling emails yet they are trying to sell AI and all no one is going to pay for your premium services if you don’t even have your basics right and working. Like I said this email client has gone from top notch to top trash and you guys are making it worse and worse with every update being pushed something new breaks. I use iPhone 16pro and has more than 15-20 emails configured so make sure next time you guys do a proper test before releasing any changes otherwise I am to the point already that this app does not serve the purpose it once used to be and I will be sad to part ways after this.

    Not loading. Been using Spark for years and loved it up until 2 months ago…for some reason I’m not getting my notifications I actually have to open the app to get the new emails and I don’t like that.

    Every few updates they log you out and wipe your settings. Love this feature. Having to dive thru setting every 10 months to get it back to how I liked was awesome. Definitely canceling my subscription and moving to native Apple Mail, past few years have been this app, which I loved, slowly getting worse while Apple gets better; seems like we’re at the crossing point.

    Awfully slow search query. This app was my fave app ever, until the query process slowed down. I don’t know how or why but it sometimes takes over a minute to load. I’ve been using Gmail since.

    Confused….. Originally thought to rate this app 3 stars. But today (3/14/2026) I am changing to 1. Original review: as of 2/6/2026 Right now, I’m not really jumping for joy! I love the email handler portion. And was happy to see a calendar was also included. One would think (for the price) since I have been using a Readdle calendar app, that somehow the data could import into this app. If it can, I can’t find the way to do it. I’ve never been a fan of the Apple, Outlook, or Gmail calendar apps. Love the Readdle one I’ve been using. So - developers - any hints or tips? I know, this isn’t a big issue in the scheme of things, but wouldn’t/shouldn’t it be easy to do??? 3/14/2026 Edited to add: after a few weeks of using the App, I am downgrading my rating. I cannot find an explanation for the differences between each ‘level’ of app capabilities and I paid $99 for 1 year of this app at the Spark Plus level on Feb 2nd and today, when attempting to block another spam email, I get a pop-up message telling me to upgrade. The upgrade is $199 a year. Nope. Not going to do that. I am not a happy customer. Apps need to spell out exactly what is and is not available for each level. I will not be renewing this next year.

    Outlook issue 🔄. I’ve been trying to log into my Outlook email for the past three days, but I can’t seem to get it to work. I’ve tried everything, including logging in with my email and password, but I end up on a white blank page with nothing happening. I’ve even tried using and disabling my VPN, pausing my two-factor authentication, and even disabling my Face ID (passkey). I’ve also tried changing my passwords. Please fix this issue as soon as possible. This is driving me crazy, and I would really appreciate it if you could support passkey as well.

    it was great while it lasted. sad to uninstall Spark after a few years. it no longer functions with iPhone talk to text. I have turned off all their features that could be changing my text after I type it and it's still altering the paragraph after I type it. It was great for templates but now they want money for that while the rest of the app is malfunctioning
