   Long-standing issues still not fixed. *****SEARCH function totally useless and broken, seems to do a complete wildcard search query rather than the actual WORDS and STRING I'm looking at. Who is developing this app?!?****** It now keeps asking if I want to block calls from random emails? why? Other issues: Have to open email twice for it to be read. Swiping to open email results in massive delay in actually opening email. Reading an email still keeps notification banner there which means I have to clear it even when I read the email?? Showing badge icons even when all mail is opened. Reopening the app a second time makes it go away. ??? months(years?) later still not fixed. Sometimes shows 2x number of unread emails than is actually in inbox.

   Search is beyond useless. For triaging email, this app works better than anything else. The Inbox/Other filtering is great. However, search is beyond useless. I've never once been able to find the email message I'm looking for if it's more than a few days old. I keep the Gmail app just so I can actually search for old messages.

   **Furious**. Just had the same experience as the February 2026 user. I've been using Edison Mail mobile and desktop apps for the last four or five years, and suddenly I can no longer access my desktop app. There's only a notification window -- with no Close button, so it can't be closed -- with an asinine smiley face and text that says Edison is switching to mobile-only immediately, Edison is removing the desktop app from the App Store, and Edison won't respond to any requests for support. The window can't even be expanded in order to see all of the text, which is insane. There is text that says “You can keep using it if you’d like, but starting now…”. But that statement isn’t true — and is basically total BS — since the window can’t be closed and there’s an error message in the background that says something about “wound”. This is an example of (bad) marketing language trying to provide a cover for horrible engineering, product, and ‘leadership’ decisions. AI, anyone? They gave ZERO advance notification about this. All of this is a complete violation of industry standards, but I guess who cares because standards don't exist any more, right? Now I need to figure out the implications of a company choosing to do whatever it wants with all of my personal email, as they've chosen to do with this desktop app. Given this and the security issues they've had over the years -- and I thought I had done enough research -- you can be absolutely sure they're doing some back-door thing where they've given access to all of their users' personal emails to train AI or some other money-making grab to save what is apparently their failing business. I smell a class-action lawsuit coming on. If you are considering using this app: DON’T. Do not *ever use Edison Mail or anything this ‘company’ produces. For that matter, don't ever trust any company offering a 'Free' service, and that includes the Big Four. When something like this happens, you'll need the extra leverage of being a paid customer to be able to do anything.

    E-Mail. I have had no e-mail since 5/2/26. It was turned off for no reason that I know of. I do not want any part of Edison but can’t seem to cancel. Please cancel this and let me have my e-mail back.

    Used to be awesome…. …now it non-functional following most recent update. I continue to get alerts with previews of new mail messages on iOS; however, when I click on one to open, nothing ever loads. Additionally, if I simply open the app to check email, again, nothing loads despite it saying my inbox was just updated. Pure junk.

    Bad since the update. I’ve used this app for YEARS and unfortunately might have to move on. Constantly disconnecting from my mail. For yahoo mail, forget it. Can’t even get past the page to allow access to my email. And no “deleting, reinstalling, and restarting your phone,” does not work. It’s the app. Something, somewhere, needs to be fixed. Also…. I don’t ever remember allowing access for the app to “track me even when not using the app.” They wanted me to update my terms of use. That’s… I don’t know, kind of sketchy. Anyway, I can’t keep connecting back to my mail everyday. Was a good app. Waste of time now.

    1 major flaw ruins it. Instantly back to 5 stars if you guys fixed dark mode pinned appearance. There is barely any noticeable color change which for quickly glancing through inbox can sometimes make clearing and reading emails a problem. Light mode has the color division perfectly but dark mode it’s like you bumped the hex code over by 1 and thought that’ll do.

    Microsoft hotmail / outlook constantly disconnected. Since April 20, 2026, my hotmail was constantly disconnected. I have to reconnect, re-log in every time I open Edison mail. I tried to remove then add hotmail account back but it did not solve the problem.

    Left a review but never show up. Last update broke the app. Constant message asking to reconnect for Microsoft account. This happens pretty much every time I check email. Very annoying. I posted a review but it never show up on here. Why?

    Broken Update. Since updating to 1.69.3 I keep getting spammed to update and log back in on my hotmail account and every time I open the app it tells me my account has been disconnected…which this update was supposed to fix, bravo folks.

    Constant disconnects. App continues to be problematic. This most recent update has made things even worse with the constant disconnects and having to reestablish connection through sign in. This used to happen every so often but now it’s literally every time I open the app. Wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately it’s to the point that I will be looking at alternatives.

    Outlook doesn’t even work anymore. I have literally used this app for years & loved it! A few weeks ago I randomly got signed out of my accounts & wouldn’t allow me to sign back in. I reached out to support & they claimed they’re looking into it & said I could access my emails on another platform still. I had to download a ton of new email apps to try to find a new app. Don’t waste your time downloading it at this point because they still haven’t fixed it.

    No better than Xfinity’s tools. They tout the ability to bulk delete Xfinity emails, but it’s the same old 50-at-a-time as Xfinity’s web interface. Junk. Deleted for false advertising

    Error 1015. I’ve now been logged out of all my email accounts using this app, and I just get an error trying to sign back into them. Email app is useless when you can’t read your emails.
