Awful. What this app provides is great. But the app doesn’t work, nor does the site have the time. Just says “error”
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Predatory subscription. Stay away from this app. We paid for a year then after canceled through app then they kept charging 96$ every quarter. No customer service no email to contact no phone number. Had to lift it as fraud and change bank account. Just another fitness scam to locks you in but won’t let you cancel
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Horrible Customer Service. UPDATED TO THEIR RESPONSE: I started the free trial, I loved the original P90x. The billing is outside of the app, so switching back and forth my login didn’t transfer over, so I ended up with both both the P90x and the BODi free trial which then both turned into subscriptions. The p90x is part of BODi, so it makes no sense to have the two separate subscriptions, I see it as BODI being an upgrade (more content) than P90X (which they also agreed was true). I got charged for both, I tried to fix it, but their support site was down. I assumed they would catch the duplication, that was on me. When another charge for both subscriptions went through, I reached out. They refused to credit me for either subscription. UPDATE: They responded here by stating they ‘proactively’ identified and cancelled my duplicate subscription. They did not, and that was my argument all along - that’s how it should have been. It was a huge fight, with numerous efforts of me reaching out to get an appropriate refund. They were not proactive. Perhaps it is this review that had them reconsider. The platform is great, I loved the original P90X, but unfortunately after the experience with customer service, I moved to a different platform. Which is a shame, because I did wanted to stay. ***Their policy is, once charged, they are not going to refund any money. Which means if you stop using the platform and forget to cancel, then see the charge and try to initiate a cancellation, they won’t do it. While I disagree with this from a customer service perspective, I can’t logically argue against it. I can however argue against the fact that they would charge me for both a P90X and a BODI on the same account simultaneously. I hope they fix that in their software.

Unable to upgrade. I have an iPad that won’t update to the required IOS for the app now. Frustrating to have the subscription and fight with viewing on safari.

Poor. Not compassionate or customer friendly at ALL. They take your money and do not provide good customer service and their return policy is the worst.

Not What It Used To Be. As a former Diamond Coach, Sports Performance Coach for 20+ years…I have been with BB since 2013 and it’s gone downhill. Not speaking for the coaching aspect… that for an other discussion. When On Demand first came out, it was incredible… you had access to all the super trainer workouts. Then BB went woke and programs shifted from quality to get finding Instagram coaches… resulting in sub performance that catered to the woke fitness movement. For example, this new P90 Next Gen is not very good This dude is no Tony Horton and the boxing workout is horrible! P90 Gen Next is a last ditch to save BB and it has failed. Carl, when you sold out to shareholders, I knew it was game over… just have to watch it play out. Very Sad!

Customer service is terrible. I find it very difficult to understand why someone that purchased T25 before this app was created cannot get access to digital copies of those workout videos. There should’ve no reason that People cannot verify their purchase and then get access to just those videos. I’m pretty sure I spent the same price for the dvd’s 10 years ago as the digital versions cost now. DVD players are obsolete and make my original purchase obsolete. Customer service is not helpful in resolving this at all either.

Don’t do it. Leaving a review as I warned customer service this would happen. I signed up for a subscription some time ago. I was charged for a renewal on 01/2025. At that time, I reached out to customer service for assistance (I didn't use this any longer). They could not find my account nor my subscription. I even gave them the last of the card charge to try to help but they suggested I contact fraud support with my card company. I did that and disputed the charge - my card had to be closed out and a new account opened with a new card number. Come this January (2026), I am charged on the new card. Somehow this time we can find the account and cancel the subscription but not refund or help from customer service. I found that ridiculous and warned them I would try to give a bad review wherever I could find their name and way to review.

Thieves. Remember to double check your cancellation or they steal your money and dont refund it even though you cancel when you notice the theft.

Poor billing. The billing practices of this company need work. I wanted to cancel while payment was processing for the auto renew of coming year and nobody is willing to help. I had not used the service- why must i be charged if i dont want it??

It’s not what it used to be.. Can’t replace Tony Horton. Shame on you for using HIS name.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Terrible customer service. They make it near impossible to get help-you can never actually speak to someone. And their refund policy is ridiculous. 100% do not recommend working with this company.

Don’t buy here!. Buying through iTunes is a disaster! Go directly through the Beachbody webpage or you will never be able to make a purchase, sign up as a discount coach or receive any help from your assigned coach. AWFUL!

Loving Bodi. I’m 76 with cervical spinal stenosis. Doing weighted exercises keeps me active. During summer months I take care of park pool. I need to be able to take pool vacuum in and out of pool. I also have to move pool cover machine back and forth. Thank you to all the trainers for the movements and encouragement!! Sandy

Video/Voice Not in sync. Overall the app is great. However, since the last update the voice over is not in sync with the video. It has been anywhere between 3-10 seconds off from each other. I’ve tried restarting my device multiple times. But it has not seem to help. I’m not experiencing this with any other apps.

Enjoy it but expensive. It’s very pricy compared to similar products.

A great app for home workout. There's a lot of different types of workouts for a wide range of ages. My wife and I use this app almost every day and have enjoyed it for years. Highly recommended.
- ★★★★★stable and reliable performance
Great but…. Works great. I’d love if I didn’t have to always set it to “trainer only” on audio and could just change the setting once instead of every morning.

Great for PT. Working on strengthening my knee after a torn ACL, this is something I can keep up with (barely 😆) but it helps me stay mobile !

Doesn’t work with Chromecast anymore. Latest update removed ability to stream workouts to chromecast from phone. Very disappointing.

Good but needs something more. The workout is so far good. But I would like to have a list kinda favoriting the workouts I am doing now.

Fun and versatile!. Great quick workouts !! I can do as many or as few as I need to work into my schedule.

Variety. I have used beach body for five years and it has fit in almost every season in my life. The variety of workouts available are fit for all types of fitness journeys from very beginners to advanced people needing gym workouts versus cardio versus stretches versus strength training. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is due to the lack of prenatal and Post workouts. I would love to see some workout plans year towards that stage of life as it is a very common time for weight fluctuations for women, stress and overwhelm.

Garmin Connect. Would be great if this can sync to Garmin Connect
