    Extremely poor user interface. EXTREMELY poor user interface. The information is great, once you get things set up. But it’s an exercise in frustration. I ended up using AI to try to get answers to simple tasks which should be intuitive and obvious. Windy needs to significantly up their game.

    Pest notifications. The data is solid but everyday I get a nag-o-gram notification to “not miss out on the huggggge saleeee” annoying AF. I’ll be sure to spend more with someone else before I buy here. Congrats.

    Deceptive advertising. I saw an ad for the Windy app on social media. The ad was targeted at fishermen and as a visitor to Florida a couple of times a year, I could use some help with species and locations. The ad made it appear this was the case. So I signed up for a windy app plan. Only after payment did it take me to another screen where I had to choose an additional plan to access the fishing information. So I paid for a plan to tell me wind speed and direction, which I can get for free. I feel like it was a bait and switch for sure.

    Most inaccurate app. I love right by the Palmer Alaska airport this app is soo far off on our wind storm speeds it’s doesn’t even come close to what the airport says waste of money and time. I also got swindled into paying for the highest PRO version.

    Inaccurate. Really disappointed in the projected forecast I’ve found that I have to look at sail flow and other apps for accurate winds in my area. I’m going to cancel this subscription.

    Used to be a great app, now no longer free.. The creators of this app have learned the craft of predatory business behavior: making the user give up screens of profile information before they learn that this is no longer a free service. I urge you to delete this app from your device and by doing so tell the creators that you do not wish to encourage this type of behavior from developers and businesses.

    Imposter App warning. I was under the assumption that this was the Windy.com app. Using the same name as a well established app is extremely bad business and boarder-line fraud. Ho do I get my money back?

    Purchased the subscription from an add on Facebook. Nothing like the add shows.. It huts your account every 90 days for 30 bucks a pop. Don’t have boat navigation like add said. Don’t say where fish are like add said. Junk scam app.
