   Why so many ads. I’m trying to see the weather, why do I need to pay a subscription to be able to view without a million ads?! It’s almost impossible to check this app and not be bombarded with ads. Ridiculous

   Radar never works. The freaking radar never loads. It will say 0% rain chances while it’s actively pouring. I’ve been fighting with this stupid app for years and I finally switched to another one and life is finally good again. I hate this app.

   Does NOT honor notification and ad settings on paid version!!. Does NOT honor notification and ad settings on paid version!! I have submitted several bug/feedback reports and no response. Still getting ADs and unwanted notifications. The in-app feedback form is also not working, will not allow a submit.

   Sends alerts even when preferences are set to not. This app started sending news alerts by overriding previously set preferences. Even with preferences reset to only severe weather it still sends news alerts unrelated to weather to your watch. Even after removing the app from the watch it still sends non weather news alerts on the watch. The only cure is to remove all installs of the weather channel app on all devices.

    Horrible. Ideally with a weather app, you are able to quickly check the weather. With this weather app, you’ll have to click through pop up pornography advertisements and spend at least several minutes tapping around before you are able to check the weather. Useless and incredible annoying.

    Inaccurate & ads galore. The radar and options for free users is a joke. Every 2 clicks an ad pops up and makes you wait minutes to exit. The radar is vague, once you zoom you lose the intensity colors.

    Frustrating. App gets worse with every update and adds suck forced into clicking too much. The new Day/ night is annoying. The app has always sucked but sucks so much now that I felt the need to finally give it 1 star

    Inescapable ads. You have to close out the app and reopen to get back to the main screen, don’t bother unless you’re willing to spend 10 minutes to see the forecast. Better options are available. All of the good ratings must be paid for by the advertisers.

    Glitchy and ad filled. The weather channel app is amongst the worst I’ve used. It’s full with ads and glitches constantly. The radar is the worst. As soon as you click on the radar link or the image of the radar, the live radar comes up blank. When you reload it, you may get the radar but try zooming in and the storms disappear. Everything about this app sucks. Don’t waste your time with it

    Ads made this app useless. This app having 5 stars is obviously just bots leaving reviews. Ads have made this app completely useless. Every time you try to navigate to a new part of the app, it loads an ad. Last time I used it, I got stuck in an ad loop and had to close the entire app. Would NOT recommend.

    So many adds. This app used to be great but now it takes me 3 minutes to even look at upcoming weather. Seems like there’s more and more adds every day

    Uninstalling solely due to the ads. Every time you open this app up, you’re presented with a screen offering the “opportunity” to “upgrade.” Which, is what it is. A lot of apps try to upsell. What makes this one egregious is that the “x” in the top right of the screen must have been configured with a single pixel allowing for a tap to register. I can sit there and tap that darn X six or seven times before anything happens. I’ve used TWC for a decade plus across Android and iPhone and this is the last straw. User hostile app behavior is a dealbreaker. Bye bye 👋!
