Garbage. The app is 10% weather and 90% advertisement for malware and other suspicious/questionable websites. …yet, it’s allegedly sponsored by a bank. What’s the point of sponsorship if you subject users to dangerous advertisements???

Channel 15 weather app. I’ve been watching channel 15 news and weather all my life Now I really depend on it because I’ve moved out of Madison this morning. It showed all sorts of weird stuff now it says it’s 78° outside, but we’re getting and the temperature is going to be going down and starting to feel like I can’t trust the app.

Multiple forecasts!. I don’t want the forecasts for all the counties around me, just for my town. Every morning I have a long line of different forecasts, don’t want them!

Notifications. A get a notification that there is a severe thunderstorm warning. However when I check the app for where the warning is, I get an advertisement and it flips the video to yesterday’s information, not the current information.

Ads filling page. What's worse than the ads is they cannot be dismissed and many ads are pushing apps they're trying to install. I'll try other local weather apps before deleting this one to compare if they're all this intrusive.

I liked the old weather on the channel 15 news app better. I’m not sure why they got rid of the old weather portion of the WMTV news app, but I liked that better than when they link it to this app.

Doesn’t work on iPad. App works great on iPhone, but on the iPad it just freezes on the splash screen. Tried deleting and downloading again, with no luck.

Locks up consistently. iPhone 13 mini. Whenever there is an alert banner and a video is viewed in landscape mode the app freezes with the lower menu stuck in landscape in the center of the portrait mode. Cannot scroll. Only first two menu items are available. Have to restart phone to recover.

Awful stand alone. Tries too hard to be flashy while failing to be easy to navigate. As a result, information is hard to find and the app is barely useful.

Annoying app. I dislike how the app verbally interrupts with weather news that hardly needs to be an “alert”. Also, I hate the ads that I have to watch b4 the video “alert” which is probably telling me something it already interrupted & told me earlier in the day!

Location notifications need help. I just received a tornado warning for my area at 11:00pm tonight. I woke up my children and rushed to the basement only to find out, once I turned the tv on, the warning was for the county next to me. I’m in Marquette County (Montello) and the warning was for Columbia County, South of Wyocena. My location is set to only alarm for Montello.

Better than Apple weather, but…. This app has a lot to recommend it. It gives severe weather warnings ahead of the Apple weather app by a lot. But it also gives false information enough to be annoying—for example I just got a notification of “heavy rain near your location” and it’s sunny. I also frequently get alerts for places I no longer am, such as when I return from vacation. And because it doesn’t seem to know where I am, I need to check severe weather alerts against reality if they seem wrong.

Decent local weather. Generally it’s a good app. The radar isn’t updated fast enough though. By the time the radar shows it, most of the time the weather has already been here for a good 5 minutes. Also why isn’t the dew point included in the current conditions? Finally, do we really have to go through the ad screen EVERY time I open the app?

Symbols on the homepage.. I miss seeing what the Dee point is at. With asthma it was helpful to know what the dew point is at more than the humidity for activities. The dew point is not found anywhere these days on your page.

ios Update.. Since I updated my ipad to the newest version of ios 17 Your weather app doesn't work at all. I can't open it and no longer recieve notifications at all. It's bricked! I removed it and red download your weather app and nothing. Won't open! Please Fix!

Weather alerts. I like everything about this app except that it also alerts you to a stretch of good weather. I only need alerts of bad weather. The bad weather alerts are very helpful.

Spammy! though otherwise good. Like this app a lot, but here is the downside… Very spammy app, sends a dozen low value weather notifications a day. We’ve got a wind storm incoming, and the app has been warning me with low value notifications for 3 days. These are very clearly intended to drive views of their adverts. Blocking these notifications specifically (while still allowing in meaningful NOAA warnings) is also not obvious. Other than that, I really like this app and would recommend based on the last year of usage. Wish the developers would consider displaying the daily and hourly temps on a plot instead of spreadsheet style.

Clickbait Notifications. The app itself is great. I love the radar feature. But whoever writes the text for the push notifications is a bit much. They are super clickbaity and makes the app feel less professional because of them.
