   Doesn’t load?. I used to be a windy subscriber but a few years ago an update made the app stop working entirely. I just tried to install it on a fresh iPad and all that it does is show the splash screen. I left it open for 40 minutes with no change in status. No login is presented, it just never fully opens. On my devices the app apparently just doesn’t work (iOS 26.5 and iOS 17.5).

   Enough with the Mapy advertising. Now we’re advertising to premium subscribers? Poor form guys. It is not a good app if you have poor eyesight. You cannot increase font size and it has no accessibility features whatsoever. I’m a paid premium user but cannot use this app for the weather forecast as the font is too small. Please have mercy on us with poor eyesight and add the ability to increaae font size. Thanks.

   Do not update. When I first got this app, it was absolutely amazing but as soon as you update it no longer will give you a week in advance. It will only give you like the next couple hours. I’m very bummed that I updated the app and now the app is useless

   Ground view. Someone needs to keep an eye on the camera. It is pointing to the ground a lot of the time.

    Deceptive monetization. They just tricked me into a yearly subscription at full price. The UI misleadingly stated that I’m starting the trial, but I was charged immediately.

    STOP. I don’t want MAPY. I pay (used to) for this app and continually see ads within it for “MAPY”. I don’t want it. How many times do I have to decline it? Why am I seeing ads in an app I pay for? Braindead developers. Their IQ must equal the number of teeth in their mouth. Straight trash. Will not be renewing. 🚮

    Inaccurate. It’s blowing 20-25mph with gusts up to 40 and it says it’s 18mph.

    Terrible app changes. Ruined it Dec 2025. They change the app late December 2025 so that it starts showing “Windy premium” all over the app and I cannot see more than an hour time span without having to pay something. Uninstalling. It was a good app until somebody screwed it up.

    6 and 12 hr. satellite loop and radar eliminated. Poor decision to delete it. Everyone, do not update in the future as you may lose features. The initial fee and feature structure was set up by Windy prior to this release which deleted 6 and 12 hr. loops. But now you feel that was a mistake. This reminds me of when a telecom throttled bandwidth without telling anyone they were doing so. I use 5% of the features. You could have offered ones to keep and ones to lose.

    Fails with most Critical Requirement. The iOS app won’t reliably pick up your location via the devices gps. Other nav apps work fine and fast. This one persistently doesn’t. I have enable “Always”. Behavior is the same with a gps enable iPad and iPhone running the latest of everything.

    Paywalled = Uninstalled. Over the months, more and more functions and features of this application keep going away. Long term data now has watermarks (fine enough) and is now made black and white so it’s useless. So you can’t tell what data is what anyways. Hopefully in the coming months everything will be locked out and turned into a paid app + subscription modal that way the total restriction of “free” data is a soon coming. After all, all weather data should be a luxury beyond what people can see outside.

    With every update, u lose a free feature. When u run out of free features, what will happen to your premium price? This app just keeps getting more useless by the update. MONEY GRAB!!! Sorry I can't support premium due to the trend this app has taken. You can't lure people with free features then over the years take those free features away, both in app and on the web, hoping to get more premium subscribers. Long ago you said you would add premium features to make windy more compelling, but it's more like the reverse.

    You broke windy. Congratulations you have broken what was an excellent utility for aviation and made it a hot mess. Now to search more than 1 airfield I have to shut down windy and restart it. Still only get information from one sir field then blanks on any additional airfield I check. Well done. Now windy is of little use

    Widget defaults to metric with km and c*. Listen I get that metric system should be the default but I’m in the U.S. and making the widget default to use metric system with no option to change it is just a bad design decision so much when you can change the default in the app itself. Is this an IOS 26 issue because it wasn’t happening before.

    Feels like a scam. So I’m looking to cancel my subscription, but every time I click on the button to manage my subscriptions, it takes me to my sub subscription management in my iPhone, however, the app does not show up in my subscription portfolio and I have no other way to cancel this subscription Windy needs to fix this problem immediately

    Bloqueado para Cuba. Hasta no hace mucho tiempo Windy funcionaba bien en Cuba. Pero ya la app no recibe los datos meteorológicos, ni en ningún navegador. He revisado y arrojan errores de bloqueo por parte de sus servidores. Los usuarios no tenemos la culpa de las acciones de todos los políticos corruptos que existen en todo el mundo, si tanto odio se tienen que se maten entre ellos. Nadie se merece ser privado de acceder a ningún tipo de servicio y menos los que son tan importantes como estos…

    Time Picker is buggy. On model forecasts the selected hour does not always match the model hour. If you move the slider back and forth it will then give you the data from that hour. This has the potential for causing issues if you care about precise timing of weather events and is super confusing.

    Decent app but…. I paid for the subx so I could gain the features and avoid ads. Wrong. You gain features but they will still drop ads. And what’s worse: the ads have deceptive graphics that looks like email swipe to delete. So when you think you’re deleting the ad, you’re actually clicking it. I’m writing off the remaining 10 months of paid subx and moving on.
