- ★★★★★inaccurate results and incorrect data
Completely Inaccurate. This app is undependable. I record entries and then days later they are removed. I have it on my Apple Watch and my latest edition iPhone. It removes entries days, or longer, after I have recorded them. It is so useless that i am considering removing it entirely. Does anyone have a good suggestion for another water tracker? Adding features makes no sense when the existing features are undependable. This must be the worst app ever.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Bait and switch. All apps should be required to state in BOLD top of the list before the title even that it is subscription based. Free trial is not free that is a nice way of saying bait and switch. Free nothing is what that means except they may grab and sell your personal data.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Keeps charging me!!. I canceled this subscription after I paid a year. I keep getting charged over and over and over again!!! I’m unable to find anywhere that I can get a hold of somebody about this!!!

Not actually free. To use the free app you have to pay. So useless

Missing Caffiene. Caffiene does not sync with iOS.
- ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific
No Help. The app has many good features, but no way to delete or modify an entry made in error. No tutorial or Instructions for how to use the app, and the tabs that supposedly let to contact the seller do not actually work.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Free App Locked Behind Subscription. Useless app when you have to pay a subscription to track water
- ★★★★★ads disrupt the experience
More ads than app. The app immediately shows a full-screen ad that won’t close, and my phone starts lagging right away. It’s honestly more ads than functionality. Really annoying and not helpful at all.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
You have to pay for Night mode.. Why pretend you care about people and their health, and then charge them money for a feature that sincerely helps people. Especially those like me who are sensitive to bright screens.

Can’t find delete profile button. Can’t find delete profile button
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
too many ads for questionable products. i downloaded to my phone, but couldn’t get past the subscription prompts or the scam ads. Ads like “42 viruses found on your iphone”. The app said “free” version as did reviews on the web said there was a free version, not my experience. i was presented various options $34.99, $7.99, and other prices - not obvious what for. just appeared to be scammy.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Not worth the money. I have used the app for three weeks now and I honestly wished I would have not purchased it. In my opinion not worth the cost.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Does not sync with Health app. Water data from the iPhone Health app is not syncing here even after permissions were enabled. I’m deleting the app and canceling my subscription.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Riddled with ads. Unusable without paying monthly. Absolutely berrated with ads whenever you try to do the one thing the app was made to do. Track water intake. Insane.
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Not actually free. its not a free app if you have to sign up for a paid subscription before you can get passed the first screen

Tracking points. The app won’t correlate water drank to points and won’t redeem points. Been saying “be patient” “app don’t working today” when trying to redeem points. Been 2 weeks now and still can’t redeem points.
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Subscription required to even try the app out.. I was disappointed to see you HAVE to sign up for the 7 day free trial. Can’t get around the subscription screen to even see how it’s set up. I’m seeing reviews say you can get around to the free version after it ends (but then the ads are bad.) I’m just frustrated I have to sign up for a subscription to even check it out. I also think a flat rate would be more convincing, I’m not paying a monthly fee and because of this I’m not bothering to try. I’ll just find another app.

Wow, AI *and* crypto in my water logging app?. “Just what I always wanted!”, said literally no one in the entire history of the human race.
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Subscription. It won’t let me use WaterMinder without a 7-day sub free trial and I don’t want any subscriptions and it won’t let me go into the free version because there is no ❌ there so I can’t get past that subscription screen so this app it just a NO unless you are rich
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
App is Stupid. On the basis of it being a water app it’s fine but the part I take issue is a new feature where they “pay” you money to drink water I know from experience any app that offers you money to do something like play a game or walk a certain amount of steps are always scams not to mention that the apps purpose is to build healthy habits of drinking but when you introduce an option of paying it destroys the purpose and that just ruins the app
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
You have to pay right off the bat. They should just make you pay for the app. I’m sorry, I’m just not paying for a water app??
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Unnecessary ads and pop ups should be free to use. The app was cool until they update and want you to pay for a subscription. Why would I need to pay just to keep track of water I drink.. all these unnecessary ads and pop ups
- ★★★★★trial charges and refunds
Trial period not free. I canceled WaterMinder during trial period but apple still charged and refused to refund
- ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions
Paying for a water tracker?. Absolutely not.

Not free. The app required all of my personal and login information, only for me to discover that none of its features are actually free. Very disappointing experience.

Leaving after 6 years. This app is now disappointing. Wrong direction for a “health minded” app. For those who will keep using it, consider the message you are supporting. Crypto might be the future for some, but it’s not the right direction for me, and it has nothing to do with health. Shameful.

Weird Crypto Stuff. The app added a crypto currency for some reason? I don’t trust it anymore.

👎 AI and Crypto. No thanks

Disappointed in company’s recent choices. Great and simple water app that offers other choices of hydration like coffee and tea. However, it recently fell to total scam and tech bro mindset, having “AI” and crypto coin. Bruh. This totally destroys and wastes our freshwater resources. Totally opposite of hydration and health goals!! Horrible. I will look for another app from a more ethical company that doesn’t engage in such nonsense :(

Beware, crypto added!. I loved this app so much, it worked well, had tons of useful features and made it easy to track my beverage intake. However, I went in to adjust some settings and noticed this cryptic settings page for $WMDR. Turns out they added some stupid crypto feature and honestly that leaves an awful taste in my mouth (which isn't the water, I assure you). I don't want this or AI in such a simple app. Uninstalled, on to the next.
