  1. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Useless unless you pay. Do not download this app unless you’re willing to pay. They have put the most basic features behind a pay wall and they make you say you don’t want to pay every single time the app loads. I don’t have the money to pay for an app to log my water intake. I used this app for a week, but just couldn’t take constant push to get you to pay. So, unless you’re willing to pay $3-20 a month (ridiculous), don’t even bother downloading it.

  2. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

UNETHICAL ,THIS IS A SCAM. NO FREE CORE FUNCTIONS. THEY HARVEST YOUR DATA THEN YOU MUST PAY TO USE. UNETHICAL APP, STAY AWAY, who is giving all these glowing reviews to an app that makes you create a profile to only then tell you it's paid? LETS BE CLEAR IT IS UNETHICAL TO PROFILE YOU WITHOUT TELLING you FIRST IT IS A PAID APP. NO FREE CORE FUNCTIONS.

  3. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Requesting more money. I paid for a year subscription a couple months ago now suddenly every time I open the app it tries to get me to upgrade even though I already paid. I even clicked the restore button but it still doesn’t work. I still get the ads. But it does say under settings that I have a premium subscription. So why do you keep showing the premium ads?

  4. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Subscription required. Very misleading. If you're going to charge then don't call it a free app. Try to have some ethics.

  5. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

My App is crashing. When I try to use the app it crashes. I’ve tried reinstalling it and nothing happens, it crashes every time I open it up. It won’t let me set my profile up, I’ve never seen the UI up and running!!

  6. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

PAYMENT NOT OPTIONAL. There is no free version of this app. You have to pay to even get to try it out for longer than the measly 3 day free trial. Not worth even downloading.

  7. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Crashes. Keeps crashing whenever I try to open it.

  8. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Absurd. Not every insignificant app should have a subscription. This is ridiculous.

  9. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

No refund option. I didn’t like the app enough to keep the premium plan and there’s no refund option and no help centre to talk with or faq about how to ask for a refund

  10. ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Won’t work with Fitbit. Easy data entry of water fluid intake but won’t update in Fitbit.

  11. ★★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

No Apple Watch app. It looks like a nice app but doesn’t have an Apple Watch app. That is my preferred method for recording and quickly glancing at my water progress.

  12. ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Ugh, another useless subscription. $30/year or $4.50/month to track how much water I drink. What are the developers drinking? That’s insane! I’m not going to pay that much money just to see what incredible changing content they offer each day focusing on drinking glasses of liquids. This is about half the cost of a Netflix subscription, and Netflix has huge licensing and server fees to deal with. What overhead does an app that counts water intake require? Listen, I get it, every developer needs to stay in business. And first glance this is a fairly pretty interface. But get real- the a single charge for the initial $5 cost of the app ought to be the top end of what to expect for this. There are several awesome apps that already do what I see this app does, and don’t think any of them have any charges beyond their initial cost. I can’t imagine any daily development of new content around drinking liquids that can justify a recurring subscription fee to this type of program. I think Apple has misled a lot of app developers- first with dreams of big money for $0.99 apps, and now with illusions that people will happily pay $5 per month for eternity to each developer of the 18 applications they use. In other words, in a world where decent cell service with data has dropped to $20-30/month, there is anyone willing to pay $90/month total to “subscribe” to programs like this? Sorry guys, I wish you luck but the business plan doesn’t make sense to me.

  13. ★★★★★a needed feature is missing

Couldn't use it... So it asks you all these health questions. I'm fit and healthy, go to the gym 4 times a week. Just need something to nudge me and say "oi... water!". You get to a part where you have to check either diziness or lightheaded, muscle cramps ir spasms, rapid heartbeat or palpatations, feeling feint or dizzy. You cannot select none of the above.. so seeminly this app is assuming I'm obese (I'm not) and need a lot more help than I actually do. Looked good, not used. Devs, maybe think about having a simple and easy setup to override all the faff?

  14. ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Irritating. Constantly prompting for premium is making me consider dumping the app. I’m evaluating a number off apps, the nagging could rule it out before I have had the chance to test sufficiently. 🤷

  15. ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Was good but not now. I have used this app and been happy with it. However I have renewed my annual subscription only to see that there are various prices that are lower than the 19.99 I paid. Worse, although Apple have invoiced me for this amount the app refuses to recognise that I have renewed and on opening always asks me to renew again and it seems to think I have a monthly subscription. I cannot contact the app producers since there is no means of doing so on the app. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app to mo avail and refreshing the app only recognises Montjly subscription which I do not have and the the annual one I have paid for. I am far from happy with this in terms of price and reliability and have asked Apple to arrange a refund and I have cancelled my subscription

  16. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

No widget. It says they have a widget yet I have tried multiple times to find it and it is not in my widgets at all. This would help me remember to track. Please fix!

  17. ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Just downloaded and already an improvement from others!. I can’t stand apps that make you subscribe or pay for the core function!!! All the other water reminder apps I have tried make you subscribe to get reminders instead of having you pay for the app outright (I cannot afford another subscription at all, I find the apps that do such things to be quite irritating and with my ADHD the reminders are a MUST) I have not used the app for long but the fact it doesn’t make you pay to use what the app was made for is already a step up! May update the review with a higher or lower star rating depending on how good it is long term but currently a three star for the above reason alone.

  18. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Satisfied with app but 1 major issue!. In general the app is very good for tracking how much you drink water! But the reminder system is too weak!

  19. ★★★★★mixed experience without a specific reason· unspecific

It would be simple to make it 5 star.. The only thing keeping it from a 5 is #1 there is no way to add a drink. Example: I drink a lot of Gatorade too but I can’t add it into my intake. #2 there is a place for feedback and I’ve mentioned it twice but I haven’t received a message that they’ve even received it. Don’t ask for feedback if you’re not going to acknowledge it.

  20. ★★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Cool App. I think this is a cool at with lovely visuals. I would have liked to experience the premium features in a trial mode to first see if it was worth $4.49 monthly investment. I am a tea drinker and the ability to track tea for hydration is locked down, where as coffee is in the free version. Slightly annoyed more than motivated to pay more just to track tea consumption.

  21. ★★★★★a needed feature is missing

Please add Kombucha. This app is okay for tracking some beverages but it doesn't give me a way to track kombucha and I have at least one a day.

  22. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Can you make the New Drink menu available for customization or create a favorite menu. This is a very useful tool to get people to think water or beverages of their choice.

  23. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Great app. Great app, the reminders are awesome! I’d like a computer and Watch version though.

  24. ★★★★clear and easy workflow

No Watch App?. This one ticks off most of the boxes for me .. easy to use, fair price, except for one significant omission. No Apple Watch app. I am also trying out Water Reminder - Daily Tracker. Unfortunately it stopped allowing access to premium features even though I signed up for trial and subscription. But one thing I liked was it’s attention to detail. Example. If adding alcohol like beer it asks size and alcohol content level to get a really accurate read on water less dehydration. Curious if this app does that too. Anyway. Too bad about the lack of Watch. Otherwise seems pretty good. Update. Well after trying various apps, got this one for now. It doesn’t provide the depth of drinks of Water Reminder, nor does it have detail like alcohol content which makes difference, but the app works, which unfortunately can’t say about Water Reminder at this time. This is easy to use and covers what I need for most part. Do wish it had Apple Watch for notifications and quick way to enter info.

  25. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Almost love it 🥰. I may be missing this feature, but I wish I could set the times of the reminders to drink water. It sets them for me and I think it should be custom. Otherwise, totally love this app

  26. ★★★★clear and easy workflow

A fun way to remember to drink water!. Id say this app for the most part is a 5 star app, there’s just a few changes that could be made to make it a full 5 star in my opinion. I’ll get to those in a second. The good things about this app are it’s very easy to use and very straightforward. I love being able to put in different types of drinks and it calculates the amount of them that count towards hydration. It even helps with drinking alcohol as it removes some of your hydration so you can make sure you still drink enough water! The little achievements to work towards are fun and keep me invested. It’s a very clean app design that is pleasant to look at and navigate. There is a calculator that you can use to see the recommended amount of water you should have a day but you can also set it to any custom number you want. However there are a few changes I’d suggest. It’d be cool to have other achievements, for example once you get a certain day streak, or even specific ones like days without alcohol maybe? None of these are reasons for my lower rating though, just ideas. My reasons for my lower rating is 1) I think there should be a way to add custom drinks. They have many options of different drinks but there should be the choice to create your own custom ones. I have the pro version but still am limited to only the drinks they’ve created. (I think the old android version had this option) 2) There should be the option to save favorites, for example if i drink a 20oz bottle of water or a 28oz bottle of powerade often i would like to save those as quick access favorites. They do have recent drinks saved to quick access but if I drink multiple other drinks, my quick options dissapear. 3) it’s hard to justify $3 a month for pro, i do have it but it’s just a tiny bit steep in my opinion for just tracking water with very limited customization. $2 a month seems perfect to me. It may not seem like a big difference but when you’re on the lower end of income it does make it more reasonable to me. Complaints aside i would recommend this app over the others I’ve tried. The free version is still good enough to use regularly but does have many limits. 4.5/5 (will change my review to a 5 star if these changes are made in some capacity)

  27. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Very nice, but. I love the app, however there are several other apps that track water and are very similar in options. I’m just not willing to go subscription on a water app. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  28. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Good App but. This app is great, the notifications aren’t too much. However, I think too many things are locked with premium. There are 26 drink options in total but without premium there are only 3. The 3 you have are water, coffee and milk. I personally don’t know a lot of people that will drink milk on its own so I don’t even understand why thats on there let alone a non premium option. I think that just the first section of drinks should be available without premium. That would mean 6 so if you got premium it would still be 20 more options. Just a personal opinion however the rest of this app is great and I understand app developers need to make money somehow.

  29. ★★★★overall positive experience· unspecific

Good. I downloaded the app about a month ago and have been using it ever since. I was recommended to drink more water by more doctor in general and recommended I track my water in some way, so I downloaded this app. It’s very easy to set up, and easy to track . U pick the amount and the type of drink and it’s done, and I like the reminders to drink. The one thing I don’t like is that u can only pick water, coffee or milk wich is annoying, otherwise really good 👍

Just started using. I just needed to find something that would help me track all intake levels of hydration since I am someone that needs to keep up with my low carb diet. I only drink morning coffee then will move onto herbal tea in the afternoon. I have discovered this app is just wonderful for helping me build up hydration as my health is in need of having this take place. Thank you so much for having a great app to help me with keeping track of water intake throughout the day!
