Recent changes are pushing me away. I’ve used this app for well over a year at this point and have had no complaints, I liked the way the amount of water to drink was spaced out over the day and you could even tick a box to remind you to drink extra water if you’re working out or in a hot environment, this layout of the water I’m supposed to drink over the day was helpful to plan and remind me that I need to drink throughout the day. For some reason the developer has decided to remove these features, possibly locking them behind a paywall (fair enough I suppose) so I went looking for other apps (there are a lot) and most seem to have a similar layout as the one the devs of this have chosen to adopt, that is to say no layout at all and no option to drink more if you’re doing more. Why the devs have decided to change their app to make it like every other one idk, I would think it better to stand out rather than blend in, but I’ll continue using this until I find an app that does stand out.

Could be Great but notifications make it non-functional imo & a waste of your $. Update August 6th: Since latest update the icon has changed but the App is totally broken. I did a reinstall to make sure but on day 1 it has the default water intake amount without any schedule. I have to add drinks manually and more than I want since the intake number is set to what they calculated. Note: what they calculate is significantly higher than what I could find as the standard for my weight when I checked multiple health sites. Note: Even though day 1 has no schedule it appears notifications are triggering based on Day 2’s schedule. I’ll wait too see if they all trigger or just some like it’s been. Weird behaviour though. Maybe Day 2 forward will be better as the schedule is set and it has my water quantity overuse correctly marked. Further Update: Since initially reaching out to me about the problem with notifications the developer has gone silent even though I’ve emailed additional information about incidents. Basically at this time notifications actually triggering is less than 50/50. It’s behaviour I’ve never seen in another app and can only assume there’s a coding error. As such imo this app should not be purchased if you need to rely on the notifications - a core feature. I feel like my money's just gone down the drain as I’ll have to buy another app to replace this one. Additionally the request for review constantly pops up in the app even though I’ve obviously reviewed it multiple times. This is only a guess but I’m betting it’ll keep popping up until I give this app a 5 star review which is not happening. I’m not sure but I doubt this is how Apple intended a review reminder to work. Update to Review: Well I’ve been in contact with the developers and they seem to want to help or they did until I explained the problem and since then I haven’t heard anything from them. The core issue is the notifications randomly don’t trigger so if you’re using this where drinking water on a schedule is in any way important I’d recommend staying away. I’m trying to isolate when it happens but it just happens. Sometimes I’m watching a video I get no notification but other times it triggers as expected. So frustrating. It’s a pity - it’s one of the better visually designed apps for water tracking but with core functionality not working reliably I feel I’ve wasted the money I spent on it. Original Review: It’s a lovely app and if it functioned consistently I’d easily give it a 4 star rating even with a few annoyances I have with it. However since it regularly misses triggering notifications to drink I simply can’t recommend it as a paid app. Without this basic of functionality working all the time it loses a lot if not most of its usefulness for me and I’m guessing others. If they fix the random non-notification error then I’d recommend it even with its other shortcomings like not being able to set your activity level or the ambient temperature in the settings screen. Actually now that I think of it this too will become an issue before long. I take it back, until they fix the random non-notification problem as well as allow you to adjust your activity level and the ambient temperature in settings this app should be steered clear of as a paid app especially if you want to rely on it for important health reasons. If they fix these 3 things then it’d be worth purchasing. I hate being so negative but big issues in basic functionality doesn’t give me any confidence in using or recommending the app. Frankly at this point disappointed I paid for it. I hope this is a constructive review as it’s not meant to hate. I want to love the app I bought.

Maybe update. I liked the app but if you miss the time, it kept calling me bro. I’m not a man. Maybe change that settings to not default to call everyone bro. Also maybe to allow to update weight. If it does do that no instructions how to do so in the app.

Jury’s still out. Red 1 in upper right corner of icon, major update that i have no idea how to get. Settings are a mess and too much hodgepodge. Payed for lifetime though and left 2 msgs and never got a reply.

Water tracker. The app itself is ok. It needs to bee made to carry across multiple devices. You pay for a subscription but then can’t use it if you change phones. Which is what has happened to me.

Easy to use. I like how I can count my water intake for the day. I don’t even have to sign up for anything, just a way to keep track.

Better app than others.. This app is very easy to us. The notifications are spot on, keeping me on track with my water intake. It also provides challenges and useful information regarding the importance of your water intake. I’m enjoying the app.

Awesome!. I love this app. I paid for it. It’s worth it and I actually lost weight using it! I may not drink water when it reminds me but I make sure I drink the required amount per day by checking it off in the app as I go.

Annoying announcement…. To make me get up and get my water. I have ADHD, this helps me when I’m hyper focused and forget to drink and I have an autoimmune disorder that requires me to hydrate to have the fewest symptoms. It needs to be annoying for me to get me to do it

It grew on me. I didn’t like this app at first because I felt it didn’t motivate me to want to track my progress. It turns out the motivation has to come from you first. Who would’ve known! Once I got over the fact that I was the one in my way and started really using this app, it’s been really helpful. It’s much better than most of the other apps of this kind. I’ve downloaded and tried probably every other drink tracker app and they were all very bad. Most of them either have giant adds on the screen the entire time or they force you to pay a ridiculous amount. This one turned out to be the best option.

G. Best hydration app I've tried! I love this app. Been using it for about a week and it has everything I need: it logs drinks with time, it shows you in a really handy interface how much water you've drank, how much is left and where on the scale you are currently. Drink reminders work well. It also gamifies your intake a little for more incentive to stay hydrated. Highly recommended if you need to keep up with your fluid intake.
