   Downloaded and deleted in less than 15 minutes. It’s great until you realize that every move that you make on the app it ask you to get a subscription or to pay which is ridiculous and should be shown on the app description… I’m going to comment on a bunch of TikTok’s telling people to like my comment to remind me to drink water, free and easy.

   Doesn't work. Maybe this isn't the app's fault, but it appears that an iPhone stops sending you notifications from apps you don't interact with often enough. I never actually opened the Waterllama app - I just responded to the notifications on my Apple Watch, drank water, and moved on. But because I didn't actually open the app, the notifications stopped, rendering the app useless. I kept it, thinking I might try it again at some point, but yesterday, I actually tapped the widget for it, and after I did that but didn't interact/respond to to, it turned into a red, angry llama face with a comment on it, something like, "Didn't you forget something?!?!" My son said it looks like they are copying Duolingo, which changes to an angry face when you don't do a lesson. I found the whole thing unpleasant and absurdly shaming/aggressive, so I deleted the app. Less fuss to just set a timer on my phone to go off every hour to remind me.

   I can’t believe I fell for another APP lie!. Why do these apps tell you they’re free when they’re NOT?! I’m not paying for an app. I searched for free water app that syncs to my Apple Watch. Out of all of them this one says it’s totally free. Yeah. Right. Free for 3 days is NOT free. Another app deleted. I give up

   money hungry. this company is so insanely money hungry, not only is it impossible to navigate, it also costs money to do anything. I accidentally added too many ounces, changing this was 8.99. Literally any other water tracker brand is better than waterllama.

   Most features behind premium. This app used to be so good, now I can't even track a drink that isn't water without getting premium. Useless app now that premium blocks everything.

   Basic. Have to pay just to put an accurate amount by customization? Plus this app is basic as sin. Absolutely useless. I don't see how this is almost a 5 star app with as many ratings as it has. 👎

   Constant Notifications about Upgrading…. I just wanted to enjoy the free version of the app. I only had one goal: to drink more water. But why am I getting constant notifications about giving this “awesome” discount for the upgraded version of the app MORE THAN notifications to remind me to drink water (a whole point of their app)???? Like it seems so greedy and off-putting. If I click no, I don’t want it multiple times, just leave alone, don’t keep reminding me every other hour. Let me enjoy the app first, if I enjoy it then I may consider purchasing, but constantly pushing me to purchase it is not going to work. I had to delete the app afterwards.

   Fun but meh.. You have to pay to adjust the settings for the amount of water which makes this app useless for me at least unless I pay. I’ll just download a free one 🤣

   Water tracking app that has… a paywall to track your water intake?. If you’re looking to use it purely for water, then I’d say go for it but just be careful when tracking because if you want to delete an accidental log then you’re going to get paywalled 🫠. Literally every feature that isn’t logging water intake towards your goal is a subscription feature which is absolutely ridiculous.

    Incredibly greedy. It’s a good concept, but practically everything is behind a paywall. The idea of paying for an app to do nothing but track water intake is just ridiculous to me. But if you want to buy a subscription just to add your own amounts of water or not get an obnoxious pop-up every five seconds, go ahead.

    Not happy so far. I mostly want this app to remind me to hydrate on long flights. Not sure it’s going to do that. Installation was a disaster: Selected the watch app on my Mac. It popped up on the Mac asking for $16.99 lifetime deal. Decided to pay it. Using Apple Pay (usually quick and simple) was like pulling teeth. Still not showing on Watch. Had to reboot Watch and IPHONE. Finally on Watch, but have to edit beverages on iPhone. First edit is to change size of coffee serving. Every attempt to save brings popup asking $8.99 for lifetime. What did I already pay for? Can someone please tell me what I paid for? And, if it’s NOT lifetime subscription I want my money back. I hope my experience with the app will be better than setup.

    Does not sync between devices. No option to make an account. Does not sync between devices even though I have apple health sync turned on and the app backed up to my iCloud. I also have a suspension that because it doesn’t sync between devices, I’ve bought the lifetime access twice.

    Old app was better. I redownloaded this app after a couple years of not using it and now some features are locked behind a paywall even though they used to be free. i used to be able to log diet coke and protein shakes but now i have to pay to do that. I guess some people got greedy..

    Too expensive and confusing. I wanted to drink more water and have a little app to remind me, but instead everything is just expensive and the app doesn’t allow you to track just one sip of water. You have to put the individual ounces into the app. Also, the notifications aren’t things like “uh oh it’s been a while since you drank water!” Or like “take a sip now” it’s all stuff like “oh buy our app, %78 off!!!” Do not recommend, try a different app.

    Meh?. It’s interesting? Colors are interesting (but more in a passive aggressive Midwest “interesting” way). After a few days of use I don’t hate it but I don’t love it. I’m still trying to fine tune preferences but out of the box the app just tries too hard at EVERYTHING, oftentimes annoyingly so. It would be nice if I could pick a different complication icon to use on t watch. They all just kind of look like blobs on the display and make me not want to use it there. Another side note-as a paid user sending me ads of ANY type is unacceptable. I’ve gotten ads for the developers other apps, like full screen ads, every day now. SO ANNOYING. I knocked off a few stars because today after restarting my phone and switching between my workout Apple Watch and work Apple Watch it erased every drink I logged today. That is unacceptable.

    New widget art is awful. Please provide a way to turn off the terrible art on the widgets. I don't need annoying messages, I've used the paid version of this app since 2022 for the cute visualization of water goals. I don't want to see an ugly cartoon of a crying sheep thing that's supposed to be a llama, especially with captions trying to shame users. I have uninstalled it twice out of disgust, then reinstalled it because I don't have time to find another water app. Please provide a way to turn off the ugly cartoons.

    Safety hazard. Water reminder covers Google Maps no matter whether you’re on the highway or in bad weather and cannot be removed by swiping. It will even covers up the button the screenshot it. The only way to screenshot it is to turn it vertical. Also, all the fun free parts of the app are now paid features. The only thing you can really do with the app for free is record ounces, which you can do with competitor apps.

    It’s cute, but if you don’t buy it… then don’t buy it.. Y’all are CRAZY for wanting $10 a year. So that what you can tell me i need to drink more water? So I can unlock a png of a random animal? 😂 honestly ill just use reminders. Thanks for reminding me to un-install 🫠

    App is Great But….. I do genuinely like this app however it needs an Apple Watch companion to quickly add water to your goal without opening your phone. Once this is changed I’ll update my review
