   Love the website hate the app. I really don’t know why this app is stuffed with everything but what one goes to RT for. Nearly impossible to get through the ads

   Steal my activity = NO!. Sign-in required!?! Used to be a good app. Now I refuse to use it until they fix it. I am not “signing in” and giving away my movie search & browse data for them to use and sell. There are other apps that will give me the movie info & previews that I want without the hassle, and insult to my digital privacy.

   Poor UI, features missing that are available on the mobile site. Poor UI, an overall mess. Scrolling is not fluid, and it’s not possible to leave a half star review. Deleted

   Slower to load than the website, more ads, and uses 5GB of storage. Amazingly, the website is faster to load. On top of that, the app frequently shows an ad or trailer pop-up when you open it. I probably wouldn’t have bothered rating it poorly even so, however my phone is was of storage and this app was the third worst offender, having almost 5 gigabytes (GB) of data stored on my phone despite me never asking it to download or store anything. I’m guessing they store trailers or something locally, and are just lazy about deleting them. Useless and actively obnoxious app. Shameful.

   Omaha. Horrible but RT gave it 91 tomato aged 86 popcorn. Bad movie. Nothing happens.

    Great Idea, Flawed Execution. This app is unbelievably buggy. Reviews don’t post/save correctly, your list of reviews contains duplicates and doesn’t show all of your reviews, your lists don’t save correctly and will often delete films. It’s incredibly irritating to use.

    Can’t listen to apple music and browse RT. I listen to music frequently when using my phone. Sometimes I just wanna check out a show or movie review on RT while listening to music. Upon launching the app, RT stops my music on Apple Music. Either clear bug, or app isn’t designed thoughtfully. I’m on iOS 26.5 on an iPhone 17 pro. Navy.

    Classic Bait and Switch. They call it the Rotten Tomatoes app not Fandango to drive traffic but make it literally impossible to find a link to the actual reviews. Sure they show you to score but don’t enable you to find out more information on other sites. I get that they don’t want to be a driver to other sites reviews and they strictly want to promote but Fandango has worked 24/7 to destroy the utility of Rotten Tomatoes since they purchased it and this app is a lie. It’s just the Fandango app. So if your goal is to have movies promoted to you this is your Fandango app but if you want the convenient links to reviews to find out more information you’ll have to look elsewhere.

    So much worse than the site. So much worse than the actual site and once you download the app every time you click on something online to take you to Rotten Tomatoes it opens the app and it’s completely useless. You can’t find any of the same things. The search functionality is terrible. It’s just an awful app deleting it.

    Garbage. Why can a huge company like this create an app that works? Despite months of updates they still can't synchronize my watchlist from the web app to the mobile app!

    Fix the “lists” feature – p0 bug. I’ve lost my saved lists 4 times. There’s a bug with adding movies and it desperately needs to be prioritized. This is why I used the app – to save movies and shows, but now I no longer trust the app and can’t fathom re-saving all those movies a 5th time just for them to eventually be erased from my UI again.

    misleading. every search I do for streaming movies gets contaminated with ones that are only available on Fandango at Home, even when I explicitly eliminate those. terribly deceptive, if not unethical

Simply walk away and just don’t bother…and just in case you are still tempted to ignore this review, “no”, you won’t be the one person who finally manages to help them fix it!” See, as you walk away from this so-called App, aren’t you already starting to feel your day getting better?

    What did you do with RT!. Horrible changes. Not remotely intuitive, can’t search, AI interface didn’t make any sense. RT used to be my go to for insight but now it’s completely useless. Sad.

    So disappointing. I was really excited to finally have the app for a website I liked so much. Unfortunately, the app is counterintuitive, not practical, not easy to go from one section to the other, it bugs, overall the design is bad: the name of the series and movies does not show completely everything is hard to find period. Uninstalling it as we speak.
