   Limited reward points. The app is not that good, one “episode “ is 98 points, with limited ways to gain points for access. Don’t waste your time focusing solely on any show because unless you purchase a subscription, you will never finish watching any of the series.

   Network Unavailable. Hands-down, this has to be one of the worst apps I’ve ever used in an effort to try to bait you into buying a subscription in order to move from one episode to another. You have to watch an ad, except they will frustrate you to no end by giving you a network error message constantly every time you submit to watch the ad to get to the next episode

   Too Much AI. Unfortunately DramaWave has succumbed to AI. And every good BL they release - they are remaking it as AI. I had such high hopes for them after Drive Him Wild released and they immediately ruined it pushing primarily AI content. I cancelled my subscription.

    I was overcharged and customer service will not refund me!. The service feels deceptive. I did not enjoy the experience at all. Customer service is particularly bad being from overseas and of course they want every bit of your coin even if they’ve overcharged you they will not refund you no matter what. I will have to take it up with PayPal. They also gave me advice on how to cancel after many many emails that didn’t work. And they refused refund when they charged me $14.99 USD plus an additional for some reason $19.99. I told them it was purchased an error and they would not refund.. And gave very strange back-and-forth explanations after making me prove that I had an account even though my PayPal invoice had the transaction number on it.. It’s very difficult system to get out of and when they overcharge you, they just ignore your attempts to get a refund. Buyer beware!

    Terrible acting!. The acting, costumes, hair and makeup… QUALITY are absolutely horrible. This is a product of crew who couldn’t make it in the film industry. Cannot hate this app or its content more.

    Don’t do it. This app is a knock off Dramabox. The shorts are all Ai incorporated so it’s even more unnatural and robotic. It’s truly strange, the scene transitions and storylines are way off. Just go download Dramabox.

    Same story line. Don’t waste your money. Reels have all overlapping storyline. And if one doesn’t buy “VIP” package, then you’re stuck watching more ads than the actual reels!!!

    Don’t waste your time. Watching shorts on instagram I decided to download and try. Mistake. The shorts you see on instagram or facebook will be all you can watch FOR FREE. Within 12 hours I deleted the app. Do not waste you time downloading you will be disappointed.

    This app is a scam.. Don’t download and definitely don’t pay anything. I gave this 5 stars so that it would be left up and people can read it. I have to unhook it from my facebook now and make sure it isn’t connected to anything else. I paid for 660 coins and each episode was 60 coins. I watched 5 episodes. That’s 300 coins. So why is my balance all of a sudden only 50? And if they are charging 200-300 per episode and it automatically starts that’s still a scam. Why would one episode be more expensive than another? They should all be the same price. Or purchase the entire show for a certain amount. It’s a scam. The writing sucks and is inconsistent. The grammar is terrible. I regret wasting my time, especially because out of 24 episodes in total, I only paid for a handful that I hadn’t seen already in ads! I will never be fooled by these stupid drama short apps again. Enjoy my $6, idiots.

    Faulty charge. They just tried to charge my Apple Pay a day before the week I paid for was over. I did not set it up as a recurring subscription, and it’s only been six days since I paid for seven. Scammy.

    Not worth it. The shorts could be good but they want you to buy coins. But 1 Episode is 60-70 coins and last less than one minute, so you spend more time watching ads than you do watching the shorts. If you bought coins you would spend them quicker and 600 coins might get you 10 episodes (10 minutes).

    Promised free whole episode but asking for payment after every not a few reels.. Lured me in saying watch all episodes free of the rise of the Lucan queen only for it to ask me to pay to watch the remaining episodes. Bunch of liars and false advertising.

    Keeps charging after cancellation. Overall the dramas aren’t bad but after cancelling my subscription Dramawave kept trying to charge my card the weekly fee resulting in having to cancel my card to avoid charges. The app kept saying subscription expired but kept trying to charge me. Not a happy experience overall.

    Too Much AI. This app is totally deceiving because they advertise on TikTok one of the few dramas they have with actors I like but the majority is AI. I wish I could get my money back because I watched exactly one show. Even worse they use AI to recreate verticals that were filmed with real actors on other platforms and make them more sexualized. Terrible!

    Zero Stars Was an Option, I’d Use It. If I could give this app 0 stars, I would. The episodes are ridiculously short, and just when the story starts getting interesting, it cuts off and asks for more money. Watching a full series feels like it takes forever because you’re constantly interrupted. The pricing is excessive for the amount of content you actually get, and the constant push to spend more makes the experience frustrating instead of enjoyable. There are plenty of other apps that provide longer episodes and a much better viewing experience. This app feels more focused on draining your wallet than entertaining viewers. Extremely disappointing. That gets the point across strongly without risking the review being removed for personal attacks or profanity.

    Used to love now disappointed. According to the app I have watched more dramas than 99.9% of users so to say I was enjoying the app was an understatement. Recently there has been an increase in generative ai dramas. Why I have my own opinions on the matter I wish at the very least that dramawave would label the dramas that have been made with generative ai so that people can skip them or purposefully watch them at their own discretion. I will probably be trying out other apps once my subscription is up.
