  1. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Great fares, but they aren’t real…. When something appears too good to be true, it usually is. Ran an itinerary through, and the app found a “great deal” - well below the airline’s published fare for the same flights. Booked it, and received a call 2 hours later that “the fare was sold out and I had to come up with another $400 or they would have to cancel the booking. Looking online, many of these third party companies are well-known for this - it’s all a bait-and-switch. Will be requesting a refund from RatePunk for partnering with known scammers.

  2. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Terrible. There are no deals on here that can’t be found more easily on your own. The app design is confusing. I was overcharged through a misleading add-on program which autorenews with no notice. I am now being spammed with emails which have no unsubscribe option. One of the worst app download / membership experiences I have had.

  3. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Bait and switch. Bait and switch. Advertises deals on business class flights. Then after you pay $26 site informs you have to pay ANOTHER $26 to actually access the business class deals. Now the site WONT let me in to cancel!

  4. ★★★★search fails to find what is needed

Garbage waste of time. Search for flights for an hour, play with filters. Find a great deal to Lower Princes Quarter, $400 USD! View result and the actual lowest price is $900+ USD. Waste of time.

  5. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Scam!!!!. The prices are higher that anty other published. It can't differenciqte airports even thou you input the airport code it keeps looking nearby. Waste of money

  6. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Worse than useless. As an American who lives overseas, I found this app to be beyond worthless. It teases the availability of international business-class fares below $1,000, when the actual fares turn out to be over $5,000. It may work if you’re traveling from/within the US, it might work for you. If you live abroad, don’t waste your time or money.

  7. ★★★★trial charges and refunds

Don’t do it!. The app does not perform as advertised in my opinion. If you subscribe via the Apple App Store you will not be able to get a refund during the initial “14-day money back“ period. There is no free trial. I’m stuck with a cancelled subscription and no refund despite an immediate cancellation after looking at, and being disappointed by, the ticket offerings.

  8. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Worst company to deal with. I all of a sudden was getting charged for this app, that I didn’t sign up for, when I went in to the plans I show no active subscriptions, so I contacted them, they insist I have a plan and they can’t cancel it. I have too. They keep asking for screenshots of my profile. I have sent them several showing no active subscriptions. Do not sign up with them, they will keep charging you.

  9. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Scam App and Company. Misleading ads. Immediate need to upgrade to make app somewhat useful. Random additional credit card charge attempts, with no human response to complaints. Perhaps the worst app I have dealt with in decades.

  10. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Lot of unauthorized transactions.. Never use this. Just scammers!

  11. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Price for the moment?. RatePunk claims they can find “…live fares” that are available at the moment of the search. I’m calling BS. I got a price quote for a flight from RatePunk, and went on, “at the moment” and searched the airlines. Then double checked the RatePunk rates for the same flights. These rates stayed the same, but my search found the tickets for the flights significantly cheeper and flight times were more desirable. RatePumk’s response to my review is that I should “…use alerts to be notified when prices drop for my specific route...” I’ve already taken one of my trips, and I NEVER saw the ticket prices go down as far as the low rate I paid for my ticket on a preferred time schedule. Granted the price RatePunk offered did go down to a low price, but only with a full day’s layover! Don’t waste any money on this app, it is a scam!

  12. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Bait and switch. Ad said easy to get cheap business class flights. After paying the fee which good for a year, you then find out there are two more levels that require more fee. Also look at the fine print, it states subscription automatically renews after one year. Didn’t say that in the agreement. Also airlines being used for the reduced fare are not ones that the average traveler uses. Not sure how safe the airlines are that are giving you a reduced rate. I also did a fact check and found that I coyly get the 50percent discount to LA going on an airline web site.

  13. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

BEWARE OF ALL THE FEES. They nickel and dime you on everything. Everything is an extra charge. Lock in the price-$70. Travel insurance-$7.48. Guaranteed refunds if something happens->$100. Lost baggage insurance-$6. Change or cancel your trip $100-200. Flight disruption assistance- $9.26. IF YOU WANT REAL TIME TEXT UPDATES -$5.85. You have to pay for text updates that’s insane. Your “deal on business class” can add up to $400. Which takes away from this site trying to save you money. No to mention they pull you in with deal on business class but once you pay for the app they tell you it’s an extra charge of $26. Such a bogus money grabbing scheme.

  14. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Bait and switch — forced upgrade, refund nightmare. Bought the base plan on their website, which advertises business class flight searches. The app blocks that feature and forces you to buy the Elite upgrade to access what was advertised. That's bait and switch. Requested a refund immediately. RatePunk ignored emails for days, then directed me to Apple for the in-app refund. Apple denied it twice, including a 'final decision.' RatePunk eventually refunded the website purchase but hid behind Apple for the in-app charge. The base subscription was cancelled by RatePunk themselves. The Elite upgrade — paid from Apple ID balance — has no product to upgrade anymore. Neither party will refund it. Documented everything: their 14-day guarantee page, their email directing me to Apple, Apple's denial screens. This is a deliberate system designed to exhaust the customer.

  15. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Just a Scam App. The “best” total quoted price and flight times to/from Australia are $1,000 above prices I discovered shopping on my own. In addition to higher prices, the recommended flights included significantly extended layovers and subpar flight time options. This app doesn’t deserve a single star, but it’s required in order to leave a review.

  16. ★★★★the website does everything, the app is a stripped-down shadow

Deceptive Hidden charges. They offer you an introductory membership for a year, but as soon as you get it, they immediately want to charge you another $50 to get a premium membership, which actually is what you wanted initially, then there’s no way to sign in or cancel your account and you’re stuck with the bills, very deceptive company do not join them I have tried multiple ways to log into my account to cancel the subscription, but it is impossible, I keep getting a message that I have to use the original email which I go back to and it kicks me back out again. There’s no way to cancel because it won’t let me login using the original email which you guys recommend.

  17. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Abhorrent Customer Service. Their customer service has been abysmal in terms of their communication, including AI generated responses, no direct customer communication, confusing language in the terms and conditions regarding refunds, and absolutely no understanding of personal situations related to the use of the product and timing. It takes them 24 hours or more to get back to you, and usually, they tell you what they CAN’T do, and apologize for that. I’m absolutely appalled.

  18. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Scam. I chose a free account. And never responded to the multiple emails to activate my account yet they charged me 51.99 without warning.

  19. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Don’t waste your money. You buy the subscription $25. Then you set your parameters and have to pay $20 more for business/first class deals. So $45 later NO DEALS FOUND. They don’t even show what the prices are for the dates you want to see the price comparison. I selected two weeks and specific dates and it just gives me prices for one week. Total waste. If it seems too good to be true. IT IS. RIPOFF

  20. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

The scam. I hate being duped. You sign up, but wait, if you want real features you must pay more to be “elite”. Apple, stop these apps from doing this. They got my initial dollars but no more and I cancelled.

  21. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Useless Scam. This app is a complete waste of time and money. Doing things like this should be illegal.

  22. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Price are not what's advertised. When you click to book its average to above average cost

  23. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

The prices are a lie!. When you click on the flight deal, as you move toward booking, the price is significantly higher and it’s been on every flight I’ve looked at. Do not pay for this app. It is not worth it!

  24. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Don’t buy this subscription. Is useless, I bought all the bells and whistles and found absolutely nothing better thst the other sites that function free of charge . I’ve asked for a cancellation and refund. I’ll keep you posted. Wishe me luck 🤨🤨

  25. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Not worth it. Nine out of 10 times I was able to find better deals on my own.

  26. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Waste of money. Used the app for flight deals and I can assure you it is a waste of money. You pay not only the annual 129$ subscription but also $60 every 3 months to have access to all airports. For all this money, the app is simply sourcing deals from Kiwi.com. So do yourself a favor and save some money by using Kiwi or google flights directly, you won’t be missing anything…

  27. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Immoral business practices. 😡 Ratepunk 😡 I saw the Ratepunk ad on Facebook and downloaded their app about a year ago. I never found a single trip that was less than I could purchase on my own, directly with the airline. Their initial charge for 1 year was $23.99. This week I got hit for an annual renewal at a rate of $104.00. I have never and will never be using their services because they don’t cover my areas of interest for traveling. They said that I agreed to the automatic renewal but I don’t recall that. I do know that I tried to cancel a couple months after the initial purchase because they didn’t have anything for me. But having only the app I couldn’t figure out how to cancel the service. But when this renewal charge was pending, I contacted them through my card service and asked for a cancellation and refund. At that point they did send me the information so I could cancel but they informed me that they couldn’t give me a refund. Why is this, since I have never used their services and this charge is for this coming year? I was going to report this to the BBB but I couldn’t because even tho they receive payment in this country (USA), they are located in another country. I now wish I had used a different payment method and maybe I could get my refund through them. But I used CashApp and doubt that I’ll be refunded. I did fill out their online form, but I’m not very hopeful at this point. I will never use RatePunk and I will never recommend them to anyone.

  28. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Never works. Have tried multiple times for deals to anywhere at anytime from the NYC area. Never had a single flight shown in the search. Cancelled subscription and will not be renewing.

  29. ★★★★negative experience without a specific reason· unspecific

Impossible to cancel. If possible to figure out what deals are

  30. ★★★★subscription and paid restrictions

Useless. I purchased a subscription to Ratepunk, and downloaded the app. The app itself was fine. However, what the company claims to do cannot be done. When I went to book travel it took me to a different website called Kiwi. The rates on Ratepunk are phenomenal, but when you go to book them on Kiwi, you get a message saying that the rates have increased over $1000. Therefore, after six attempts to book these great rates, I was unable to book any of them anywhere near the prices listed on Ratepunk. I was able to find rate cheap cheaper everywhere else I looked. In addition, there were hidden fees, such as a baggage charge of $167-$250 for a single checked bag. Don’t waste your time or money. I contacted Customer Service, and they would not refund my subscription money unless I could show them screenshots of everything that happened. I did not do that at the time because I kept hoping that the next time I tried to book it I would be successful. That is not good enough for them without screenshots of each effort and then a screenshot of what I did end up buying, they will not refund my money. luckily I did not pay much. Now I’m going to watch to be sure that they really canceled my subscription and I don’t pay another dime because I don’t trust them.
