   New update broke the app I have used to sleep with for years!!!. The new update has now made it so that when you lock the iPhone screen it pauses the app! Why? It was SOO NICE BEING ABLE TO USE IT FOR FREE AND ENJOY THE WAVE SOUNDS THAT ARE NOT ANNOYING LIKE ALL THE OTHER APPS HAVE!!

   Not for sleeping. Developer is after the money, not interested in helping anyone sleep. Allows add that distract the wave sounds and will absolutely keep you from sleeping do not use.

   Developers ruined this app. Going to finally delete this app after using for years. Greedy developers have converted it to a subscription based app and apparently created bugs to keep the app working properly if you try and use the ad based subscription. Find the RainRain app. Has a similar ocean sound and is free and has no intentional bugs!

Now that the developer has started a monthly subscription based fee to remove ads, they’ve made it very difficult to use the app even with ads. Now every time I use the app, I choose my “wave sound” and close my phone to sleep, the sound shuts off. I open up the phone and the developer’s monthly subscription ad pops up. I choose to use the app with ads at the bottom of that ad, resume play and close my phone again to sleep, the sound shuts off again. Open the phone again, and the same monthly subscription developer ad pops up again. Over and over and over this happens. Once in a while you’ll get a streak of a few days to a week where it doesn’t do thag and then it happens again and again and again. I’m done dude. You killed a decent app.

    Adds cover the only option I like. I have used this app for YEARS to fall asleep. Recently, however, an add is covering the only wave sound I listen to. It does not allow me to select that option. I am terribly disappointed.

    Trying to charge me twice. I bought this app 3 years ago. Worked well. But today, after upgrading to IOS 14.6, developer is asking me to pay again; $17.99 for life. I don’t remember what I paid the first time but it was “for life.” Not sure if this is a developer issue or Apple issue. Either way, moving on to a different app as I don’t want to purchase the same app twice.

    Was a good app,... but no more.... I’m a longtime user. Turned on the “free” app today to relax and within 5 minute span the waves were interrupted 6 times by a pop-up asking me to buy the upgraded version. Being harassed isn’t very relaxing. This has never happened with this app before. Needless to say I’m deleting the app. Call me cheap, but free is free.

    Annoying pause in loop. There is an annoying pause in the audio as it loops. Makes it difficult to listen to, especially with headphones. I would not buy this again.

    Randomly Shuts Off. This app worked fine the first night, but then started shutting off after 5 minutes, no matter which sound I set it on. I thought perhaps the first night was just an introductory offer, and since the app was only $1.99, I purchased it thinking that would solve the problem. It did not! Now I’ve paid for an app that is completely useless!!

    Short sound loops poorly edited. Most of the wave sounds are less than 3 minutes long with a distracting gap at the end of the loop. Very annoying. Don’t buy if you want to use this as a sleep aid. I contacted the developer - no response.

    Ok but charges for a timer!. Has good wave sounds. Reason for low rating is that you have to pay for a Timer! Other apps, with a lot more calming sounds do NOT charge for a timer, like “Rain Rain”.

    Boring needs wave movement. I thought these would feature wave movement, or videos of ocean waves as well as sounds. But just the sounds looking at still pictures of ocean is awful. I upgraded figuring I would get that but no it was a waste of money.
