   Sign up when you try to sign up and you get to the part where they ask you for your phone number it. So I cannot sign up to use the platform and also to do a review you have to give more than one star lol

It actually looked like a different and fun way to shop This has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had. UPDATE: This company currently owes me over $1,500 in unauthorized charges, and I cannot get a single person on the phone to resolve it. 🤬 I don’t know who had my money either Whatnot or the individuals hosting the Live Action To make matters worse, the app charged THREE different credit cards from my Apple Wallet, claiming each transaction had a “digital authorization.” That’s not how Apple Wallet is supposed to work. When I select a card in Apple Wallet, I am authorizing one payment for one purchase—not multiple charges across different cards. On top of that: * I was overcharged across multiple cards. * My video receipts don’t match my actual orders. * Sellers repeatedly sent the wrong items, including products I never ordered. * Scam sellers seem to operate without consequences. * Customer support has been nearly impossible to reach and completely unhelpful. * Even coupons I legitimately earned couldn’t be redeemed. Buyers are left carrying all the risk while the company fails to provide meaningful customer service or protection. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend using this platform.

    Sellers scam. The app is full of trash items that are being sold under fake msrp's. This app is just a fast pace scam at the end of the day. Go look at any tech sellers and you will see drones with 600-2000$ msrps that you can buy on amazon for 20$. The company should face a lawsuit under Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act.

    Never could try the app. I signed up and set up my account and immediately got restricted for reasons I still don’t really understand. Apparently my account is associated with an account that has been removed by whatnot so in return I get punished for it. I asked for what account and why and never got an answer so I can’t use whatnot guess I’ll just go to ebay.

    It’s a scam. Whatnot is a scam. I won an expensive Pokemon card worth over $1500 from a break, the seller clearly never sent the card and was banned from Whatnot for violating their policy. Yet when I reached out to Whatnot, they refused to follow their own High Value Loss Reinbursement policy. There is zero buyer protection on Whatnot, they are effectively running a scam. Sellers are not held accountable and Whatnot shirks itself from all responsibility. Their support team is impossible to reach and incredibly unresponsive. I urge everyone to share this and speak up about your own negative experiences so it gets attention.

    Buyers beware. The platform is full of scam artists who will not send out any high value items won. What makes it worse is Whatnot’s abysmal buyer protection policies where they will always side with the sellers and accuse legitimate buyers of lying in spite of video proof of livestreams. Think twice before spending a dime on this platform.

    Terrible community + illegal activity. I’ve used this for two months and have came across some of the weakest fragile individuals who block you or harass you for leaving anything under a 5 star review. Slow to get replacement, or refunds when something broke in transit. Children selling Girls Gone Wild - chat makes jokes and doesn’t get bothered. Disturbing Maybe it’s not all trash.

    Stay away. If you’re into purchasing trading cards stay away. You’re better off buying at a local card shop or eBay. Fees are ridiculous for buying and selling, straight up gambling with garbage pull rates for anything worth while. Spend thousands with nothing to show for it def stay away.

    Policy issues. Whatnot will follow there policy til it is over a certain amount. Once it hits that amount there policies don’t apply anymore. They honestly are a joke and protects there scammers on their platform.

    My mom spends all of our money. We can’t get her to stop buying things. We’ve put restrictions on HER phone but she’s addicted. We don’t have anymore money to go on vacation (for two years now) and she WILL not stop. Please if you care about your family and your future do not download this addictive, gambling like app.

    Sellers are not held to police’s. After spending a ton of money on whatnot, one seller was allowed to harass me, threaten me and lie about me. He was allowed to lie and tell other sellers and users to avoid me and to not allow me in their streams if they saw me. At least one of their followers never sent an item I purchased from them and I had to wait for whatnot to refund me. I have made multiple reports and yet the seller remains on whatnot and continues to violate almost every policy and rule whatnot has. Just the fact that he continuously is allowed to threaten other users is enough to stop me from continuing to spend money on this app!!

    Avoid like the plague. I think there are more fraudulent sellers on this app then there are honest ones. I have spent a lot of money on this app but lately there have been so many fraudulent sellers who go on their live feed to auction things off. They never intend on selling. They don’t allow cancellations so what not will not look into returning your money for at least 14 days. They definitely will refund your money, but if you purchased multiple items from one seller, they will only refund that one item. I have lost so much money from this BS and now with three sellers just this week who have ripped me off, I will be deleting this app and then celebrate by dancing on their app grave. They’re really not that much cheaper than just buying from Amazon or Walmart, don’t take the chance on losing your money because the odds are better than not you will.
