   Fraud! They keep charging my card after paying cash. Avoid this app.. Avoid this app — they will charge your card for rides you paid in cash, and keep charging it after you remove it. I used Bitaksi three times in Istanbul. The first ride I paid by credit card through the app — no issues. For the next two rides I selected “Cash” in the app and paid the driver directly. The app confirmed cash payment both times. Two weeks later, both of those cash rides appeared on my credit card statement as “PARAM / BITAKSI MOBIL T” — for the exact amounts I had already paid the driver. I contacted Bitaksi and they insisted my card had not been charged, even though the charges were plainly visible on my statement. I disputed the charges with my bank and removed the card from the Bitaksi app entirely. About a week later — by which point I was no longer in Istanbul and hadn’t used the app in nearly a month — I was charged again! With the card supposedly removed and no recent rides, there was no legitimate reason for this charge to exist. I ended up cancelling the card outright, which is a serious inconvenience when you’re travelling in Europe with a US-issued card. Three rides, three billing problems. Use a different app.

   Another way to scam people into paying twice. Never had this problem with Uber, but basically I got charged twice because once it was time to pay, the app wouldn’t work. After I paid the taxi in card payment, I refreshed the app and saw it that the payment went thru. Never again would trust an app made by Turks who love to scam everything in sight.

   Doesn’t accept international credit cards. The app has a non-intuitive interface and is pretty buggy. I tried using two different credit cards with it. It will take the card data, but then it isn’t able to charge the card, so I ended up paying in cash. Also, the drivers won’t honor the discounted rides offered by the app, as a result you end up paying more than what the app suggests before you take the ride. Don’t use it, unless you prefer to pay in cash or have a local credit card.

   An irresponsible and dishonest company. This company is absolutely terrible. The drivers are dishonest and manipulative — one of them scammed me by charging €50 instead of €5. I immediately contacted customer support through every possible channel, including calls and messages, but they did nothing to resolve the issue. The support team is completely useless, and the overall service is unacceptable. This company is full of liars and scammers. I strongly advise everyone to avoid using their services.

   Charge you twice. I use bitaksi 4 time, 2 times the driver gave money exactly from taximeter but the other times they charge me exactly twice from which taxi meter showed that’s the reason they don’t let uber to work in turkey because in uber you can not extra charge the passenger with no reason.

    If you are reading this, please DO NOT use this Taksi service!. My recent experience with BiTaksi in Istanbul was extremely stressful and disappointing. The driver attempted to overcharge me by manually adding extra amounts to the fare at the end of the ride. The final price was nearly double the original estimate shown in the app. He clearly assumed I wouldn’t notice the manipulation. When I contacted the dispatcher/support, instead of helping resolve the issue, they defended the driver and dismissed my concerns. I felt completely unsupported and vulnerable in that situation. The issue was only addressed after I involved third parties and contacted the police. This should never be necessary when using a ride-hailing platform that claims transparency and safety. I strongly urge BiTaksi to improve driver oversight and ensure proper accountability. No passenger should have to go through such a stressful experience.

    SCAM!! Charged double. I got charged double what was displayed. This has never happened to any ride hailing app. Avoid at all cost.

    Complaint & Suggestion. On two trips I took the same evening, I experienced incorrect charging. On the return trip, the driver manually entered an inflated bridge toll of 225 TRY, far higher than the official Bosphorus bridge toll. On the previous trip, the fare charged did not match the amount shown in the app or the meter. These repeated issues seriously damage trust in the platform. As a suggestion, once a passenger enters the vehicle and the trip starts, the app could automatically lock or pre-authorize the estimated fare shown to the client (and charge them through their registered bank cards). This would prevent manual manipulation, protect passengers, and help BiTaksi retain customer trust while ensuring a better experience for both riders and drivers.

    Got scammed from Istanbul taxi!. The driver charged me 1400+ while the upper limit is only 800. The meter even started with 375 TLY. The driver forced us to give 5 stars before we left. The app did nothing to protect the customers from such scamming drivers.

    FRAUD!!!. Yesterday, I encountered fraud by a bi taksi driver. I had to call the police. I called a taxi from ISG Airport Hotel to IST Airport. The driver refused to come to the hotel and told me to go to the taxi stand. There, he told me that I would be traveling in a different car, but the order would be through bi taksi and payment would be by card. I immediately told him that I needed to pay by card through your app. I got into another yellow taxi. When we got on the highway, he canceled the order in the app and said that I had to pay him in cash and much more than in the app. I agreed because I had to catch a plane. At the airport, a police officer looked into our case and told him to accept payment by card. But it still ended up being 30% more than in the app. And he wanted to charge me even more. I am sure that this is a system and that they cheat everyone from the hotel at this taxi rank in this way. They just cancel orders. Please remove this scammer from bi taksi. I can send you the receipt he charged me.

    Worst ride share app ever. I don't recommend at all. Save ur money and use Uber it's working even though they will tell u it's not. The prices are not guaranteed on this app for example it tells u that the ride will cost 2000-2500 TL but at the end of the ride u will be surprised how it become 3500+ TL. I think it's not like Uber that we are used to it. The driver at the end of the ride can change the numbers to double the gain. On weekends u will keep searching and not getting a ride because the drivers will always text u to negotiate the price then cancel the ride if u don't accept to pay the number they want and most of the times that's 3x the number u saw on ur end.

    Drivers systematically scam you. I wish I read the reviews before trying this to see how this app systematically allows drivers to scam you and steal from you. My driver overcharged me by 600 TL above the max estimated cost for the ride. He never turned on the meter and invented a fare. I contacted the app to complain and no one has replied. The thief’s name is Ekram C, license plate 34 THM 90. Apple should remove this app for scammers from the app store.

    Worse. If I could give a negative 1 I would have that’s how worse it is . The driver tried to scam us by saying the route is blocked he needs time and he will run the meter on . Where as the route it showed was completely empty ,when I opposed it the driver had the audacity to use slang and call us a begger . I am glad I didn’t use this app .

    Useless app. This is by far the worst app I have ever used. The prices are a complete scam, each driver charges a different amount for the same trip, and they refuse to use the taxi meter even though the app shows a set price. Drivers constantly increase the fare for no reason and demand extra payment. The app is completely useless because the price it shows means nothing; every driver makes up their own. Extremely dishonest and frustrating service. Down!!!

    Scam. Taxi drivers will deny you gave cash payment if the app won’t process the credit card due to errors and then repeat attempts. Using the app is no better than getting drivers outside the app who refuse to use the meter and charge you exorbitant rates. Avoid this app and taxi drivers in Istanbul in general. It’s all very shady.

    Driver can change price after trip begins. I have experienced twice now where the app quotes me a certain price (say 200-300 lira), but when the ride ends the driver can demand 500-600 lira through the app without problem.
