   Absolute scam. This right and share app is a complete scam. It keeps pinging you with rides available and then no one actually shows up. Unsubscribing right now. Complete garbage.

   Good price alternative but…. I don’t understand how this app can be advertised as the one competing with uber and Lyft when it has so many annoying issues (mainly with drivers and gps) that result in me having to quickly switch back to Lyft or uber. Empower was initially a very good alternative to Lyft and uber due to the prices. However, I’ve had so many issues with negligence of the drivers. I mainly use Empower to commute to and from my Job. I’ve had several occasions where a driver will make me wait 10-15 minutes to be picked up, and then abruptly cancel the ride when they are right down the street from me, resulting in me being late to work. The app also does not have actuate GPS tracking as drivers have tried dropping me off in the wrong locations, and have also drove right passed me as im standing at the pickup location shown on the app. 9/10 drivers are on the phone and distracted resulting in them taking wrong turns and getting lost or almost getting into collisions.

   Dissatisfaction with the service provided by the application. A few days ago I had a trip with this application. Unfortunately, I forgot my bag in the vehicle. As soon as I got out and realized, I reported my belongings through the app and contacted customer support. As of today, I have not received any kind of response. They have not contacted me, nor have they had the courtesy to reply to my messages. I understand that Empower is not responsible for returning lost items; however, they should at least have the possibility or courtesy to provide me with some information about the driver who completed my trip that day, so I can contact her and try to recover my belongings.

   Not reliable at all. Say you have to go to the hospital or take a test immediately, yea this app won’t help the stress you’re most likely enduring. I had at least 5 cancelled rides in an emergency, nearest driver was 17 minutes away, how is that when I live in this close to everything city? The only upside is the prices but as long as you have a couple hours to wait for the nearest driver, you’ll be fine😁

   No one showed up. I called a ride to the airport early in the morning and had two drivers accept and cancel the ride after almost 30 minutes. Their locations and ETAs never updated except for one car icon glitching to random locations on the map. When I tried to call or text the drivers I got no response. I couldn’t cancel the ride either because the app said I would be charged a fee so I sat there in limbo with no options for customer support and no accurate information as I became later and later for my flight.

    Scam. This app is a scam keep on using lyft or uber because when you request a ride on empower it may say that it will cost you 18$ for the ride but they charge you 22$ or more .. don’t fall for it .. lyft better

    charges more than it says when booked.. i’ve been charged $2 more both times i booked. not sure why but the email with my ride details are completely wrong as well. it says i took 30 min rides when they were only 5mins. the times are wrong, and the prices are increased despite the credits in my account.

    Charged for a ride I never took. I booked an empower and it said it picked me up when it never did and then it charged me for the whole ride. I requested a refund and filed a complaint and they never got back to me.

    Worse Traveling App in Baltimore. Multiple times I’ve been left by drivers refusing to pull to the front of my house because Empower’s GPS format is not up-to-date causing me to be late for work! NOT GOOD! Customer Support doesn’t exist…I’ve reached out MULTIPLE times in reference to drivers and the gps NO RESPONSE! This app is great for drivers but does not deliver quality service what so ever. You should really consider sticking with Uber. I’ll pay for peace of mind because I’ve NEVER had to experience this disgusting level of service.

    False advertisement. App doesn’t tell you how far Ubers really are they can be 15 minutes away and it will say 1 minute away and they will still charge you . Also it can say one price but when you order it it will charge you more .

    Empower first time. first time trying js because of the cheap prices but never trusting again got left in some weird sketchy neighborhood 30 mins away from my house and my driver hassan was js so weird n js told me to get off because that’s where the location directed which was so weird because him self checked the same location that was on the app to Apple Maps n showed him that was 30 mins but still didn’t care n proceeded to tell me to get off somewhere i had no clue i was in

    Drivers are allowed to take your money. How do you have customer service and your customers can’t reach you? I have had three drivers complete rides and take my money without even picking me up. I reached out to customer service each time and no one ever reached out, which means I lost out on money. They might be cheaper but they also make it easy for their drivers to scam you. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!!

    It’s good sometimes. They truly need to work on their GPS and the timing that it tells you for somebody to get here it’s ridiculous. I have to set the GPS to other locations to get to where I’m trying to go or else. I have to walk five minutes. Their GPS was terrible.

    Scamming app. Not only do they hold the payment in advance, but they also charge an extra amount, for example, for a $14 ride, they put a hold on $17. The drivers are incredibly rude and take you to the wrong place. I’d rather pay an extra $2–3 (yes, that’s usually the difference, it’s not nearly as cheap as they advertise, claiming it’s almost half the price) and call Uber than deal with such unprofessional people. Want a refund? It takes at least four days to process, yet they deduct the fare immediately. You also can’t change drivers; so, if you need to leave right now but the driver won’t arrive for another 10 minutes, that’s your problem, the app doesn't allow for any other option. They’re scammers, plain and simple.

    TERRIBLE. the 4.8 rating is fake!!! The app keeps crashing, doesn’t let me put in my address — I closed the app and reopened 5 times and it still didn’t let me put my address. Ended up randomly calling a car that went to pick up somewhere else Called the guy 6 times !!!!!! Didn’t pick up didn’t respond msg had to cancel and still got charged $10 and missed my event that costed even more money bc I ended up calling an Uber $120 cus I needed to go but still missed it. This app ruined my night and wasted my time and money. staying loyal to Uber forever

    Drivers vehicles. The service is excellent, and I’m very impressed overall. However, one area that needs improvement is the condition of some of the drivers’ vehicles. A few of them appear quite worn out and could benefit from better maintenance and cleanliness. In comparison, many Uber drivers seem to have cleaner and better-kept vehicles. Additionally, some drivers spend too much time on their phones while driving, which can be distracting and unprofessional. Other than these concerns, everything else has been great. Keep up the good work.
